Community Insight:

We enjoy all the escape room adventure games from this vendor. Beautiful scenes, soothing music, and unusual puzzles to solve.

Puzzles arent hard, but it takes some thinking to figure out how to use some items. Hint system is nice because it tells you wheee to look but not exactly what needs to be done right out of the gate.

We liked the various puzzles. Map helped navigation, especially in the last few discoveries.

Really enjoying this game so far! Challenging enough without cheesy story fluff.

Excellent game. Wonderful graphics and engaging play. Kudos to the authors.

The beautiful art and serene music make for a great escape from reality in order to embark on yet another adventure! Its always a pleasure going through this game and the hints are always welcomed.

Fun. We love to play these with our 12 yo.

Pretty straightforward with a good range of puzzles – from fairly simple to complex.

Had a great time playing it. Finished it. Fun puzzles. And hard puzzles.

This game is very intimidating at first with so many areas to explore but the more you dive in the better it gets. Finished in a few hours because we couldnt put it down. Definitely recommend.

This game puts the huckle in our berry.

One of a very few developers that make such creative and well made point and click escape games. Every aspect of each game is thoroughly thought through. Mini games are fun and challenging. Wonderful fast travel option helps not to get lost in wondering around the locations while trying to find the clues or return to them, as well as does the snap shots option. Ive given the same 5 star review to every Syntaxity game we have played as they are all excellent.

You will breeze through this charming game! Pros: 1. The graphics are bright and realistic. 2. Navigation on our iPad worked well. We had no glitches. 3. Its not dark, scary, gloomy, haunted, or magical. 4. The built-in hint system makes getting around easy. 5. The puzzles are so simple that a smart 6 year old can play. (tested on an actual smart 6 year old) Cons: 1. The puzzles are so simple that a 6 year old can play. 2. Most of the clues that you find are actually answers. (see #1 above) 3. Using the hints it took us about 3 hours to finish. It was fun.

Especially for the over 40 crowd.

Just challenging enough but doable. Map hints help.

The games, in large part, are very challenging. We found that when we became stuck on a puzzle, after 15-20 minutes we would close the game and return later. Within a couple of minutes, we had solved the puzzle. Sometimes, the obvious eludes us. Thanks to the developer, we have really enjoyed these apps. J. Miller San Francisco, CA.

Just the right challenging puzzles.

Well worth the time and expense.

We have enjoyed playing several of the games from Syntaxity but this one we found to be somewhat generic and short. The narrative isn't terribly compelling. Nevertheless the puzzles are engaging and it's still worthwhile for a casual play-through.

For a novice like us this app is pure work. We can find no logical sense of clue direction from one puzzle to another and with this many rooms to cover we find the difficulty level high. If youre looking for a magical evening of exploring and fun mystery this may not be for you. Finger puzzles are easy, atmosphere music and graphics are great. Creators put tons of work into this game. For ME, we were wanting a game to sit and relax with, this one makes us work way too much. If youre in to that youll love this game. We couldnt progress without online help.

Just hard enough to enjoy with logical puzzles to solve.

We really enjoy this game but cant get enough or tired play this..please make another chapter for this game.

Other games of this type are frustrating because they make it too hard and illogical. But these game writers are different, the puzzles are logical and while they are not easy to solve, they are not extremely hard. We have definitely relaxed and challenged by them! Truly entertaining as it should! Highly recommended.

Another fun game from Lone Wolf. We've played and enjoyed all three. Beautiful graphics, good controls, labeled inventory. There's a map but not transporting so there's a lot of back and forth but with the very fast scene transition, it goes quickly. We don't mind the back an forth as it's good memory exercise for us. There are a LOT of locations but still not too many like some games we've tried. Good puzzles, some are pleasantly easy, some more challenging, (you need to look VERY carefully in some scenes), it has an integrated hint system, and the game is quite long especially for the price. Overall, a very satisfying , well priced game. Thank you, Lone Wolf.

We absolutely loved it! Use your cell phone camera and the walkthrough.

We thoroughly enjoyed this game and it was fun just following the map. Thanks.

Good for memory practice and puzzle solving.

Did not enjoy this game as much as the others by this developer. Maybe its the fact that Ive played all the others by now (except Treasure 2) and it seemed repetitive. But it also seemed very confining in terms of the area, the scenery. While there were a great many screens and a lot of running around, it all seemed very closed-in. And too many of the puzzles didnt make sense or were too convoluted. Still need to play Treasure 2 and we are not looking forward to it as much as we were before playing this one.

Fun puzzles, good music and sound effects. Enjoyable but not frustrating.

Played for days. We couldn't put it down. FREE hints when you get stuck. We play a lot of these games and It was common sense challenge but NOT easy. We recommend it if you like this stuff.

This game is just hard enough to make it challenging but not so hard that you're lost within the first few steps. Well worth the price. Loved it. We love all the Syntaxity games. Id say theyre medium level of difficulty. Which makes it fun and not annoying.

Cute storyline, and the graphics are goood. As with all this company, sometimes their puzzles dont make any sense. However, we love the way they did their clue system. Worth playing, not the best.

Could have had a little more wow at the conclusion but overall fun and graphics are good. Very similar to their other games but thats ok.

Nice, fun game that causes one to think. Really liked it because it was clean, nothing ghoulish, or evil. One skull on a desk was all we saw. We really appreciate games like this. So, so many we pass over because the reviews mention that it was scary, or gory or has some hint of death or wickedness. No one needs that sort of junk. Well done.

Awesome game. We love the puzzles, clues helpful hints. Will be looking for another similar game.

The game is very entertaining and keep you playing interested from beginning to end.

We love these games! They are fun and challenging to play. Thanks.

This has to be our favorite; 1. Because its long and 2. Its contains the two pianos 3. It also has the best puzzles in our humble opinion. So because these are the type of games we enjoy, we went searching for others different than these. Well, we ended up abandoning most all other types of adventures for one reason or another. These have proven to be our favorite. They dont take forever to learn them. A toil that is our least favorite about all games. When we pay for a game we dont want to spend hours figuring out how to play. These also contain more clues and puzzles than any other adventure game; of which there seem to be few. These were different. The learning curve was minimal yet they are challenging and fun. But we hate it when its all over. That has to be the goal of any good game, is to have players regret when its completed. We applaud you Syntaxity. Please make more as we have finished all of them. We assume that is what you are doing so let us say we support your efforts by which we mean we will gladly pay for these games as we would rather pay for a game than getting it for free.. We await your next adventure with great eagerness. We will keep checking back for future episodes of the lost?, or the missing? In ? Castle, no matter, we will be happy with whatever you come up with. Thank you, Candy.

Syntaxity, Since finally trying Blackthorn Castle last year, we were thoroughly impressed by the lack of glitches, smoothe gameplay with a functional and easy to use User Interface, explorative setting locations, challenging yet not too difficult to beat, quality graphics, realistic style, sound effects and music as well as the adventurous nature of these games. One after the other, we tried each game and delightfully found the same satisfaction in all (current) six. Then, you released your bountiful update for the Lost Ship, which was originally much too short. Now seeing the pattern of adding similar updates and extra content, in order of original release, we eagerly await more to be released. If we had to describe these games, in as few words, we would say they are honestly must-haves and instant buys for this genre. If a new game were to be released, we would buy it as soon as we found out about it. Having them all up to now is not enough because they are so satisfying. But there's more. We discovered an interesting alternative to their replay value. Sure once you play them you might get tired. We liked Blackthorn so much we kept replaying it, but with an unexpected challenge we put to ourselves. Memory. We've repeatedly played them several times each as a way to stregthen our memory So, we look forward to each new game/additional content Syntaxity releases. To be honest, you couldnt release add-on or new game content fast enough. Thank you.

Im so glad this game was free and the full version. It was a interesting and mind boggling the whole time. You cant find a better puzzle game that this one. Now that Ive played this game Im going to play the others.

A great game. Entertaining with just the right amount of challenge.

Great game with lots of puzzles.

A great game to while away the Coronavirus hours. Advice: buy the hints – there are a lot of places to go and things to find that you will never guess, but dont buy the fast travel; after all, youre trying to occupy time, not speed it up! Enjoy.

We had a lot of fun with this game. It was challenging.

Enjoyable and challenging a few things we couldnt figure out.

After several years playing off and on, it just clicked today and we found the treasure! No clues are needed, but are available for fee.

There are really cool things there is a staff and another things to so you have to get this app good luck finding the lost treasure.

Enjoyed the game. Appreciated the hints and map.

Amazing game! We wish it was longer.

So fun and hard!!!!! Great adventure game without time constraints.
