HOW TO PLAY MOXIE 2
You start with a hand of 64 letters that you go through "Solitaire" style. Place each letter on the board or "Pass". If you "Pass" you can't go back to that letter.
You score points by:

Making unique words with the letters

Transforming your words into other words by adding and replacing letters. For example: "TIN" becomes "TINE" which becomes "TILE" which becomes "TILED" and so on.

Spelling special "Moxie words" for bonus points
Once you spell a word and start transforming it into other words, don't break the word chain! That's a "Twaddle" and you'll lose points.
There's no time limit and while it helps to know a lot of words, Moxie will more greatly reward those who like to think strategically.

Ive had this game on our phone for years and we have to admit we still play it just about every day. Its not fancy, nor does it have some goofy storyline like some other word games, where youre solving puzzles to accomplish goals or levels. But we think its one of the best word games of all time hands down. And its harder than it looks because you have to think several moves ahead if you want to crank out high scores. Theres definitely some strategy to it. We do wish the devs would add more categories (like sports or space or food or at least have more Moxie Words for the existing 3 categories. That would be our only suggestion.
Love this game. Can do so much more with it.

We have so missed this version and every time we play the classic Moxie Im wishing for this one. Not only is it more challenging, but there are more options for color backgrounds. The fact that it is still free is a great bonus. And timing is perfect as were stuck with perhaps a little more time on our hands.

The game still works fine, and until today, we were able to see where we placed on the Daily Challenge random puzzle. Now our name doesnt show up at all. Its an innocuous name, but it just does not even appear anymore.
We hadnt played this in a while but just started playing again. We love this game, but for some reason the final move is not counted. It may just be when you pass on the last letter, but it may be more than that. Please fix for a 5 star review.
Been playing this for years and have loved it. Today it has slowed with big lag times on iPhone 13. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still horribly S L O W Will reinstall once you have updated and fixed. Bummed.

We enjoy crosswords, but not very good with scrabble because we haven't played enough. This is a good way to build vocabulary solo. We really enjoy it and play every day.

We've played this game he for years but now it no longer loads on our iPhone.
Game won't complete loading with IOS 10.3.2 on iPhone 7. Progress bar stops at about 95%.
At the end of each game if you score is in the world's top 250 it is posted under high scores. The name that we list is Trump Train. As soon as this nickname is posted it is immediately removed. Totally unfair!! This is nothing profane about the nickname Trump Train. We happily support Donald Trump and want to reflect that. We do not recommend you purchase a game from liberal bigots!! Thank you.
And the developer is committed by updating an older game to 64 bit to keep future iOS builds from breaking compatibility. A+ dev.
This game is so awesome! We never thought we would see the day when our mom was glued to a cell phone, but it has come! Thank you! One quick thing, though. Since when is "zebra "not an animal? Something else that just occurred to us. We wish some other of your games were as accessible as this one. We are blind, and was unable to figure out red herring. We would love to play more of your games.
Great game! It's infinitely challenging. We do wish that the game's volume control was not dependent on the phone's ringer volume. It should be connected to the phone's speaker volume instead. We like our ringer loud, but don't want to hear "MOXIE!" and assorted game sounds at the same high volume.

Great game – play it a thousand times! Will have to see how many tomorrow… Favorite travel game from Alaska to San Diego to Boston and back to Seattle.
First of all, we love this game!! We have a couple ideas: we'd like to be able to see a list of all the Moxie words we created (even if it's not until the end of the game). We also think it would be really fun if we got bonus points for completing an entire game without a Twaddle. We don't think we've ever actually accomplished a Twaddle-less game before… But if we got bonus points for it, we'd definitely be in for the challenge. A list of all the Twaddles at the end of the game would be fun to see too. Along with a total of how many points lost. And a total of the moxie points as well. Thanks for creating such a fun and addicting game!! Oh, and "duck" needs to be a moxie word for animals.

Been playing it forever. We always come back to it. It's not time consuming, no rules to remember. Such a simple concept! Awesome game.
This is a great game that can relax, challenge, and stimulate the player all at once. It can also increase one's vocabulary. We play at least once every day.
The original Moxie was great. The follow-up, Moxie 2, is a step or four better than OM. And that's the end of that chapter.

We love the daily challenge but we're always dissapointed when it's moxieless.
We have never had such a good experience with one game company. Playing their games is about two thirds of all the games we play. They don't press for time, you can do them during commercials, and the sounds and graphics are addictive and fun. Unusual in a game company that mainly does word puzzle games.
One of our three favorite word games. A must have.
Great game. You compete against yourself and can vary the play to keep it interesting. Animals as moxie words, daily challenge etc. Or make up your own rules: no passing any letters, no use of letter k and so on. Like that the play is geared to your own pace yet moves quickly to maintain interest. We've never been particularly good at scrabble but this is fun no matter your skill in word games. Sometimes we inadvertently create a word we've never heard of. It would be nice to have a quick link to word definitions.
We absolutely love this game! We prefer to play Moxieless but we're going to try to play the tiger ways eventually.
After more than a year (even longer with the prev ver), we still find ourselves loading the game up almost daily. No running clock. No ads. No "pay delay away" offers. Just a nice solitary word game. Very few games hold our interest for this long, and we can't envision being tired of it in the future.
