Community Insight:

Just finished playing this through for the second time in a year and realized we never left a review. We absolutely LOVE this game and once it was over, we just wanted to forget the puzzles enough to be able to play it again. Forever Lost is a great series. Many thanks and kudos to the creators.

Even more than Episode 1. We did a better job figuring things out with this Episode, maybe Im getting better. We are glad the puzzles werent too hard and the hints were super helpful. Only had to google a few of the tough ones. Keep it up! Make more of this type of game.

We played the first episode on the Switch and when we saw they were available for the iOS, we knew we had to get the rest. We love that theres a camera (with an editing mode to take notes!!!) to take photos of clues and the puzzles themselves were brilliant and fun. The puns were bonuses, too! Escape games are one of our faves, but Glitch takes it to a whole new level.

We see another reviewer posted about this glitch a year ago with no response from developers. We have purchased many a Glitch game because there are absolutely wonderful developers the helm who create amazing games. However, we are severely disappointed that we can not finish this game. In the canteen, the wooden pieces puzzle freezes completely when attempting to put down the pieces.

In Forever Lost episode 2 when we take pictures for later use theyre blank when we open them.

This our fave game, but unfortunately there is a bugs in the photo album that does not appear as result of the photo. Hope you can fix it immedietly (iPad Air 5 iOS 17.3).

Loved episode 1 and just started episode 2. The camera takes blank pictures, which makes it almost impossible to solve puzzles without clicking back and forth a bunch or taking screenshots. Ive got an iPhone 13 mini running iOS 17.2.1. If they fix that its an easy 5 stars.

Our camera isnt working. Whenever we try to take a picture its just blank. JF2S63X47Y.

The go back button was not working so we were stuck on the screen with the diary and puzzle and couldn't play at all.

We downloaded this game recently again because we loved it a long time ago and wanted to play through it again, theres some kind of glitch though where theres no back button? We cant back out of puzzles or things Im looking at. We tried deleting it and reinstalling.

The storyline was gripping all the way through each episode. We hated it to end. By the time we reached Episode Three it was harder and harder. But we love a challenge! Loved it.

Had to use multiple sources of help to finish, much more so than higher quality games like The Room series. Things seemed random. We didnt enjoy much about this, it was an ordeal to get through. We liked the vibe of the first game better. Graphics were not great. You can make creepy stuff that looks better visually (hand painted hidden object games) or at least is nice to look at (Cube Escape).

We like that puzzles made sense and were logical. We did end up checking a walkthrough a few times – it was hard to know where to click. It would have been helpful to be able to see a photo while on the regular game screen. The ahead to win gave a giggle.

If you are a big fan of escape games, you MUST play glitch's. They are the Best. No need to say other words. It is the GREATEST.

Heads up to anyone who hasnt played Forever Lost 2 since its last update. A new bug has developed. Issue: When placing the wooden pieces on the Draughts game in the canteen room, the game will instantly freeze. Ive tested this issue with an iPad Air 2, iPad Air 4, and iPad 6th Generation all running the newest iOS 15.4.1. Force quitting the app and reopening it, restarting the iPads, deleting and reinstalling the app none of these common troubleshooting steps resolves the issue. Ive reported the bug to Glitch. Hopefully it can be resolved soon. We still gave the game a 5 star rating as its so good.

We really enjoyed this game. The scope of the game, as in the number of rooms and doors, is perfect. Lots to explore without getting completely confused. And the storyline keeps you interested. We had one issue while on the tablet the first time, but it resolved itself. It kept flashing for a bit. This is the second game by Glitch that Ive done. We found Veritas a little more engrossing, but we read good reviews about this series. We cant wait to try the next one.

Once you get in the clue area of the 100s, those seem so much harder with no real clue of next step. Needs more hints inside the game.

We love it! Used only few hints to finish the game.

We love games like this and we came here after playing The Room series. Absolutely worth the purchase, very captivating storyline, and such intriguing puzzles. This game was obviously a labor of love by the game developers and it turned out amazingly. 10/10.

We cant get past the first room, with the pattern on the bed. We have the correct pattern, but the buttons on the panel on the wall dont pop out like theyre supposed…so we tap in the pattern and the buttons all stay down and never open. Really frustrating to pay for a game and only get five minutes of playtime before a bug strikes.

Loved the free one and the first one but this one is our favorite (3rd is our least favorite). There was so much to explore and do yet we did not feel we were completely lost on how to get back to certain areas when we needed to. The graphics are great and the puzzles creative.

Objects should not hide behind buttons. The spoil of rope was difficult to pick up. Also, the Simon says game needs a lot of work. It has taken us 20 tries entering the right pattern but we cant get it to work. We think it registers when the finger is lifted but between the small hit box and the fact that buttons like to press themselves, we cant get past this part of the game. Its frustrating to have the answer and not be able to use it. Otherwise the game is very fun.

This is a terrific game, and kudos to the developers for many imaginative and challenging puzzles. But there are way too many puzzles that, for folks who are color blind, are fundamentally unsolvable without resorting to spoilers on the web. The flower puzzle that unlocks an attic room, the padlock puzzle with various card suits and numbers (among others) are impossible to solve alone if you cant tell what color the puzzle elements are supposed to be. Introducing patterns or textures that further differentiate puzzle elements beyond mere use of colors would likely help resolve this problem. Developers: please try to account for this in all of your puzzle games, youll only gain additional fans by doing so.

This would be 5 stars if it werent for the glitch in the arcade part. Your supposed to beat the high score provided but bc this game has been played so many times the high score has gone up making it very hard to beat. We are now stuck not bc we cant figure out the clues but all bc we cant beat some arcade high score that someone has made… Very disappointing. Does this now mean we can no longer finish the game.

Theres no way we could make progress in this game without constantly referring to the Hints. That takes the game from challenging to being persistently frustrating. In our opinion too many clues, once found, are left as balls up in the air only to be used 10 to 15 steps later. And finally, as a red-green colorblind person, we find it EXTREMELY frustrating the number of color based puzzles, the dim pastel colors used, and the fact that the green in the original clue setting is not the same shade of green in the puzzle setting, and doesnt even match the green in the hazy photo of the clue setting. Most of you wont appreciate this, but when youre looking at seven colors in a clue and literally cannot name what 4 of them are, it makes it difficult or impossible to solve the puzzle. Even without the color issue, we did not enjoy playing this game and even though we purchased Forever Lost 3, we are going to delete it without playing it.

These games are so well thought out. This is far beyond your basic find the key and unlock the door to escape game. The puzzles are challenging, but thoroughly rooted in logic. If you get stuck, their hint system is just enough to give you the exact nudge you need without giving anything away. The graphics are beautiful and the music is perfectly creepy. We havent started the third game in the series yet, and we are already lamenting when it will be over and we will be done. Glitch games is the pinnacle of this genre.

This game is great. All of Glitch Games are great. We've yet to find a developer whose games we enjoy as much as these guys'.

IPad Pro and iOS 11. The SIMON game in the Etch-a-sketch doesnt work. Apparently the buttons need to be lit for the EXACT amount of time. Please adjust.

This was almost perfect, we love the puzzles, they are truly wonderful. Our only complaint has to do with the letter tiles. We set the tiles down onto the puzzle, and then we left them to to solve another puzzle, when we came back the tiles were missing and we couldnt get them back. We had to start the game all over again.

Great game. Not your average run of the mill randomly click and solve puzzler. Requires real thinking. Great job to the devs. Not sure why we started with 2 but look forward to 1 and 3. Only complaint is hints. Once you look at 1 and leave you have to restart game to see any others. The text is blocked.

We are a big fan of room escapes and this series is as well crafted as anything we've played.

Forever lost is so fun and challenging and CREEPY. We just LOVE these games! Beware bc you will really feel as if you are part of the story. We can't wait for more games.

Great plot and puzzles, well worth the money.

We have played all The Room games (so far) and really liked Forever Lost 1; we liked 2 just as much, but the hints were really annoying!! They worked fine at first, but then the text would hide behind the wooden bar that you you click on to open one. Had to leave game for several hours or even reboot our phone! Kept us from using them too quickly, but frustrating when we got stuck. Otherwise, loved the in-game photosvery helpful! And it was very challenging. Keep it up guys, Im looking forward to 3, and all your other games.

Its spoiled by sloppy, bug-ridden code that causes freezes. Ill never spend a dime on any games from this company again.

We have an iPad Pro 2 and have played Cabin Escape, Forever Lost 1 and part of Forever Lost 2 but it keeps freezing during one of the puzzles. So very disappointed! Love this series and was hoping to play the third one but cant finish the second one. Emailed the company 3 days ago, waited to see if they would respond before we added our review. No response, no follow up. Paid $5 for a game that we cant finish. Buyer beware.

It's as if they made the game wildly complicated to justify the price. Puzzles are often maddeningly difficult and once solved usually give you an item that does little to move the game forward. Layout is labyrinthine. Skip.

Family loves puzzle games and this one is challenging and very fun. Each game gets longer and more difficult so we recommend purchasing the forever lost bundle and playing all before reviewing. Didn't experience any crashing through the series so bugs appear to have been worked out (which was a complaint by a few reviewers). If you like puzzles games, this one is a must have! Kids (10 and 13) are currently playing through the series and they love it. It gets them to learn and apply logic which is great.

Expands Jason's story–challenging and creepy.

This makes other escape games seem like child's play. It is the best escape game we ever played and it lasts for hours. There are so many puzzles and so may rooms to explore and you really have to think to solve the puzzles. Well worth the cost as it lasts for many hours of play. We are blown away how much time and creativity must have been put in to make this game.

We love this series, have played it through twice! Starting episode three today.

THIS GAME IS SO FUN we DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY ITS AMAZING!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This is one of the best mystery games. Not too difficult but not too easy. But don't play this at night…it can get creepy.

We were going through other reviews before buying this game. They were enthusiastic n genuine but we had our doubts… We were skeptical n honestly we've wasted money before on crapy apps because of made up reviews. This app truly made our day. Enjoyed every second of it… After Room (1,2) this is another app which we'll recommend to everyone. Well done guys… It's a wonderful creation.

This game is so good. It's like playing a point and click game on the computer. It's the best escape game app we've ever played. Addictive and fun.

We'll admit we were stuck a few times which made it BETTER! Worth the price and more. Now for #3.

This is a great game, but we can't use the swipe card received from board game on the door with the swipe pad beside it. Nothing happens. Was a great game up until this point. Edit: Apparently you have to swipe the key on the keycard for the courtyard unlike everything else. Was able to finish the game and we really liked it as a whole.

This game has a Myst-like quality to it, with a darker turn. Well-conceived puzzles, a fairly large and complex set of locations, puzzles and clues, and even a red herring or two. Truly a joy to play.

Got us hooked for several hours.

We really enjoyed playing this, one we started we couldn't stop. The levels were difficult but not too bad. We had to use our brain some. We'll definitely be playing 3.
