We love the game getting is worth it.
We literally love this game and it is perfect for us because we love history especially how people went west. An idea for another journey is the Mormon trail so from Illinois to Utah but you dont have to do that we love the game how it is we have made it to Oregon 2 times now and we have beat the Chisholm trail 2 times we think. We love how when you make it to a fort it shows a little animation of what is going on. We dont know why other people are complaining about this game it is the best we would really appreciate it if Little Mary could survive if you gave her enough medicine (it makes us sad). We actually am obsessed with this game we havent been playing often but thats because Ive been busy lately. We like this game a lot people need to make the 4.8 rating a 5 because this game is so great it gives us surprises when people get shot or bitten by snakes. We love this game so much! All the different trails are SO fun! We love picking characters, naming them. It really gives a sense of family between them. We love making up our own backstories to the characters too. We hope there will be new trails and characters soon.
This game is a fun challenging experience that we highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
Ive played the original Oregon trail, and this one is way funner! We like how you can do different traits for the characters, and pick out what they look like. Honestly, we think they did a great job remaking this game, which is hard to do. But on the other hand, in the original, it was fun to play the same level over and over again. But on this one, once you complete it, its not as fun because you know exactly whats going to happen. We think they should add more variety to the Oregon trail game. But we think adding other trails is fun too. And also, the game is not too hard if you have patience and play it smart. But over all, this is a fun and satisfying game and we think if you like the original then you should try this one too.

This game combines humor and taking care of people walking. A lot of things have happened to us like seeing hezekiah be crushed by our own wagon. This game is great and we recommend it.
Ive played over 50 hours of Oregon Trail, and love how we can discover some new achievement every time. The other day, we actually went on our computer and booted up the original Oregon Trail just to see the differences, and we cannot even say how much its improved. Some mild language, but is child-appropriate – we would say 9 or older is a great age to let kids play this. If they have questions about some historical events they might be learning about in school – for example, when we were in 4th grade forever ago we did an Oregon Trail unit and our teacher suggested we play the game (this was back when it was the old one) so we did just that and still had a great time. This modern one is a lot more fun, has more choices, and is a contender for our favorite mobile game of all time.

Has that heart of the original, even been more historically accurate to portrayals of Native Americans. Relatively simple to learn, even for younger people. And still has all the challenge of the original. Plus having an Oregon Trail sticker pack for text on IPhone, and a watch app which tracks your walk to Oregon makes it intuitive. Awesome title.
This game is super unique and original and it makes you learn so many fascinating things about our history. It also seems to always have something more to play with and never grows tiring. The amount of research that has gone into this is insane. Thank you so much for this amazing game and companion watch app.
When we had found this old game on the internet archives, we've had a love-hate relationship with it because we could never get to Oregon without some dying before they get there. We like this game already. We will come back to this review to update. Update: we adore how you can change how the characters look. It's such a beautiful upgrade! () AND not only that every party member can have a career that can help on the journey! We've already unlocked the carpenter, doctor, trapper, and mountain wom(man) by completing the mini journey challenges in the main menu.

A title right out of our childhood. Played at school on the now ancient workstations of the day 1988. Apple 2GS we believe. See Mac had it right from the beginning, just wonderful tech. Love it.

This game has been a lifesaver since we take long trips. Im a good player at Monopoly, and after studying the Oregon Trail in middle school, this game has been SO much fun! We really recommend people who are good at board games and are resourceful. It took us abouta week or two to figure what triggers everything and how use each of our party members wisely. We also love how interactive & how many decisions youre able to make. Awesome game.
This game was so accurate and fun to play that we were on it for hours at a time. There is almost no glitches or difficulties. Also, Apple Arcade is the best mobile gaming platform we have ever used. So play Oregon trail, its the best.

This game is super chill and organized. Although it doesnt really make sense how a guy fell out of the sky and didnt need any medicine or anything. Still though, its one of our favorites.

So we played this game once on paper in our fourth class. That version sucked. When we saw this game available on the switch, we couldnt wait to get it. Im still hooked on this game for the switch. The graphics are amazing and this version is so much better than the old 90s version of the game we cant wait to try this on our phone.

At school we were learning about pioneers and westward expansion, which sparked our interest in this game. Not only is it incredibly educational and we have learned so much from it, it is also SO SO SO SO much fun!! Us and our dad like to have races to see who can get their party to Oregon sooner. It is also very challenging. Its fun to replay. This game is amazing-you have to get it.

Its a really good game, highly recommend. Our two complaints are that we completed all the content for it in the span of two weeks. Plus, once you get the hang of what your doing, even the most differcult mode is easy enough.
