Guess the Code Free is the best codebreaker game for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Your iPhone chooses a sequence of colors and you must try to guess the sequence within a specific number of guesses.

We love games from this company. They're fun, you don't need wifi to play, and there are no ads! It's fun thinking about the different combinations you have to think of. It's a great game that uses strategy, planning and lots thinking to get the code! Not only that, but you can make the game harder by allowing repeat colors, or empty spaces into the code. You get a lot of tries to guess right too. We recommend playing this game for car rides, or passing the time. We have it with some other apps that we use when we have no wifi.
This app is amazing, it helps us with learning skills and not only does that it all gives us fun educational learning.

We realize its a bit like Wordle but we played color code long before we heard of Wordle.
The white and black marking pegs – black too light.
We have played this game for many years and found it to be reliable, as well as lots of fun. But lately, for some unknown reason, it occasionally shuts down the game in the midst of our play. We lose whatever progress Ive made on that game and have to start a new one. Please look into this. We dont see a version number of the game, but it automatically updates, along with other apps. We are on the latest iOS on both our iPhone 7 and our iPad Air. Thanks.
It is fun but we have to take 1 star away because it is super hard.
The color used for hint indicator is confusing. Suggest the following instead: Green: Right color and right space Orange: right color, wrong space X In Red: wrong color.
Great game, but PLEASE make one of the yellows in the hard mode a different color!! Teal? Also the white and grey are too close in tone.
3 stars for annoying sound effects and because hard version- 5 across – has two choices of yellow. Im not color blind but honestly the difference in the two yellows is negligible. Honestly, with so many colors available u cant get that right? Should be an easyfix. Terrible oversight.
We were excited to see this game as we loved Enigma on our old computer we downloaded it but didnt have time to finish a game just now we tried to finish the game but couldnt get past the screen with your logo.
Forcing us to click on ads to get them to close is a bit too much for us.
There were times we would get the right color, right spot but then it would change the answer!! That sucked.
Every time this app starts, it snoops the clipboard on your device. That's a great way to have a password stolen. No thanks.
This game could be awesome…..but rather than a game, it is NOTHING MORE than an AD GENERATOR, which forces Ad viewing before EACH round of game play. Just dont waste your time with this deceitful download. Honestly, Apple could do a much better job than what has become common for its low standards.
This is a fun game, but the game is NOT CONSTANT. You can place the same balls in the same hole, but the hints( black, white, no ball) change. All the time its not constant with what you put in. Fix this and we will be happy to change our rating.
We might not fully understand the game or something, but we think this game keeps switching the answers around – in the first level Ill enter colors and some will be marked correct, and when we move to our second guess the color in the same space will be marked wrong. Is that how this is supposed to work.
It makes no sense at all. Its not fun at all. Its too complicated.
We have eliminated this game. We are so sick of having to look at that silly little man. We have eliminated all of his games. In Guess Code we got all the places right but one. How can only one be the right color but in the wrong space? What would you swap it with. We would keep trying if it werent for having to look at that stupid grinning little man.
This app used to be great and a lot of fun, but now they have stuck in these advertisements that are impossible to close so you cant even get to the game anymore.

A terrific version of the game Mastermind we played growing up. We like that it's easy enough to win so we feel smart but tough enough we need to concentrate to do it. Agree with others about the gray & white buttons. Until you have both colors on the board to compare it's difficult to know which one you've got.

Great game… Unfortunately, we play our games late at night, before bed. So this means, the brightness on our phone is on the lowest possible setting. This as you may know, it makes it hard to differentiate between both white & yellow.
The game is addictively fun to solve. However, after the last update the game now randomly pulls you out of the game and sends you to the internet browser and straight to an amazon scam for a $1,000 gift card. On top of that, once you return to the game, it then forces you to watch an advertisement. This happens way too frequently and is quite annoying.
Malware Ads hi jack your iPhone browser and take you to a scam you won $1000 Amazon gift card site every few minutes. Otherwise, this would be a fun Mastermind-type game. They need to vet their in-app ads better.
We truly enjoyed the game, didnt mind the ads, until… After a completed game all of a sudden a disgusting porn video showed up!!!! Deleting this app right now. Very disappointed. Wonder if anyone else had that awful experience.
When you purchased the advanced game, it doesn't work. It doesn't identify the five colors, no matter what you do.
Have played this for two years on Android. Now enjoying it on iPhone. The darker background adds to the charm of the game for us… Makes the colors stand out; it easier on mu eyes.

We came across this app after doing research about the TV show "Are You The One?" What's the connection, you might ask? Well, the show is basically one large, interactive human game of "Mastermind". And this app is modeled after that classic board game, "Mastermind". We play this app daily and have mastered the 3-ball and 4-ball levels. It's amazing how this game can train your logic and deduction skills. We're practicing so that we can "amaze" our young son with our code-breaking skills. He'll have no idea what hit him when we play in a few years, muwahahaha.
Easy to play once you know a white peg means right color, in the wrong spot. And the far color means 1 right color in the RIGHT spot. So the right code is shown by all dark pegs.
This game is a fun brain challenge. The recommend the improvements we would suggest are making the on and off buttons in settings clearer and making the white and gray pegs more different in color. They could be black and white.
