Community Insight:

Nice little game with action and reflection.

Original: This game was completely unexected. We figured that this would just be another game, but this game is serious fun. If you've ever played any type of Zelda game before, this is nothing like that. Except for the sliding ice puzzles. This is pretty much what this game is and it's so much fun. Give it a try folks. You'll be utterly surprised by this game and you'll enjoy it for a long time. Updated: While we hate to submit a review again so soon, this just has to be said. We have probably over 300 apps, well over the 11 pages apple gives you on your iPod touch and well… This is the ONLY app that constantly crashes on us. We only got the app to work once, which we wrote the original review by. But every time we try to access it again, like we said, it crashes. Fun game but if we can't access it then there's no fun there. Hopefully this will be fixed but reading through the old reviews, this seems unlikely. We really can't recommend this app anymore unless you can get it for free like we did. Update 2: we found out the reason why it crashed for us. It only ever crashed if we searched for it through the search function on our touch. If it's on one of your main 11 pages then it should work fine. The controls work great and overall it's an excellent game.

This is the type of game that the iPhone/itouch was made to play. Simple addicive fun for all ages.

Really fun alot like fling same basic concept good puzzler.

We've played a lot of games with this similar concept (Astrosphere), but Cobra Mobile's version of the game is by far our favorite. And the guy who said the graphics are too good, that's just so stupid it makes us laugh and sigh inside. The graphics and detail levels are astounding, with tons of detail in such a simple game. Dust trails behind you when you run, you can see the cats shadow when you're running out of time, and the menu and other effects are beautiful. The music is extremely clear and fits well with the game. We love all the music cobra mobile implements in their games (iBomber, Dam buster, numba) and this is no exception. The controls are some of the best we've seen. Swipe where you want your mouse to move, it never messes up. Overall, this game is a must have, no matter what kind of genre of games you like.

This is an excellent game. However, it has too many annoying elements in it. Catcha Mouse 2 is a good example of clean user interface with great game play. Anyway, we guess the developer won't update this game anymore. 1.) Graphics is stunning. However, it is so annoying to see so many things all happened on the same time at the same spot of the screen. For example, the mouse is running and reaching the food, dust is following it while the food shadow is enlarging and while points is showing at the same spot. It is so confusing and player also needs to worry about the time line (and the cat shadow is also showing on screen). 2.) The music is extremely well done and giving you pressure while playing the game. However, player is already stressed out by the over-done graphics and adding another pressure is not a good idea. 3.) The puzzle is very good but when player failed it, next puzzle will be started. We are sure all players want to re-try the failed puzzle again. 4.) This game really needs a puzzle mode and forget about the timer or the cat. Give players a relaxed but fun puzzle game. Engimo is a good example. Minor thing is that some graphics icons are hard to tell if they are fruit or not. Based on the number of reviews, we guess this great game is not selling well. If all the above annoying elements are fixed, selling it as free app for 2 weeks to bump up the volume and also joining discussion in game forums to let gamers know that it has been updated. Sales should be going up after that. Good luck.

Totally worth the full asking price ($3.99) Consider yourself lucky if you get it on sale! Graphics & story are really cute and very well done. Gameplay is logic based and very addictive.

This app is so much fun! We love the graphics, music, and we definitely love the game it's self! This app is a must buy. Every one should have this app on their iPhone.

Although makes us mad sometimes.

Great concept, controls, and graphics. Mouse About is a wonderful game. Probably one of the best that the App store has to offer.

We just love this app. We are so addicted. Trying to get all the yummies before that horrid cat can get to Marv is the best fun. Was dying to see what came after the space section, finally did it!! As fun as this app is we think it is also pretty good for tuning the brain. Highly recommend it.

It's our top used game it,a amazing :):):):).

Mouse About is a joy to play. The graphics, the game play and the music are fantastic. Gotta love Marv.

We tried the free demo for only 20 minutes before buying the full version. This app is very charming and polished, has a very intuitive control scheme. The random level generator does a great job of slowly increasing the difficulty and, of course, gives an endless amount of replayability. We'll never be bored with this gem on our iphone. Highly recommended.

We loved the graphics and music. Worth the money, we tried the lite and had to buy the full. The game makes you think and its fun.

We bought a lot of games from the AppsStore (20+) including big names such as Virtual Villagers, Enigmo, CubicMan, BBD2, Kroll, Super Monkey Ball…etc but Mouse About is the best of all. We've spent hours on this game already but still haven't gotten bored yet. We hope Cobra Mobile would release some type of updates in the future. Adding more levels/scenes or types of food would be great. We like the under water scene a lot. Replay value of this game is good. We're looking forward for more games from this developer. Keep up your good work.

Strategy game that really grasps your attention for long periods of time.

Just get it!! Great all around.

VERY fun gameplay, too. And perfectly priced at ninety-nine cents.

As another reviewer mentioned, it's the care put into the details that immediately win you over. The quality level here is so far above the rest of what's out there–it's really a joy to see. Beyond that, the game is simple to the hang of, but a good challenge at the same time. Fantastic graphics and audio round out the fun. We'd been considering this app for weeks, and am thrilled with it now that we finally took the chance.

We were very hesitant and nervous while downloading this game, we thoughtit was going to be one of those games where you regret buying it! But it's not. We are a babysitter, we babysit for a living, and so that's party why we downloaded this game, to keep the kids busy when we news them to be – they love it! Every one of them! They are always laughing and smiling and having fun. So we had to see what the big deal was and we are 19 years old, even we find this game cute an adorable and addictig! Graphics are very eye catching and the music is actually good music and we also like how you can have the option to turn it off too. The mouse is adorable! This is one of our top favorite games! We even got our friends to buy it and they are constantly playing it as well! Need a game to pass the time? Buy this game! You won't regret it. Great for kids and adults of all ages! Thank you for making this game. :).

This game can be addictive! The graphics are way better than the screenshots. So far it is the best game that we've downloaded! If you buy it you won't be sorry.

We've had this game and played it and totally enjoyed the graphics, sound and wonderful gameplay. We don't know what's happening now, but we can get through the loading screens and when we choose 'New Game' or 'Continue' the game crashes. Is this happening to only us? We still give it 5 stars for it's awesomeness!! Iphone3g -16gb.

Great gameplay, graphics, and sound. The idea is very simple, but it gets quite challenging and keeps you entertained. Well worth the cost.

Easy to learn, super fun to play. You'll have way more than $2.99 of fun if you buy it. The mouse and screens are super cute. This game is definitely a keeper, not a game that you play till you solve, then delete.

Check out the video on You Tube as the screenshots in the App store don't even come close to the real thing. Very fun, fantastic music, professional graphics, a great control system. Lot's of detail in the app, it's easy to see it was a labor of love by the team that produced it! Good puzzle aspect to figuring out where Marv needs to go. This game very likely has the highest production values of any in the store. Pick it up, you won't regret it! R.

We were a bit apprenhensive at first to get this app, thinking that with all the race reviews It wouldn't be all that great but it really is. This is the most visually stunning app we has bought from the app store and not to mention fun too . We love strategy games and this does it in a very impressive way. We didn't waste 3 bucks and we look forward to more games from this developer.

We absolutely LOVE this game. The controls are simple, and work perfectly. The graphics look great, too. We don't, however, like the music, because it reminds us of a REALLY bad game we used to play (Casper the Friendly Ghost: Friends Around the World for the PS1), but that's just a personal problem, and one that we're sure most other people won't have. Overall, great game, hurry and buy it.

Sorry, but we are lazy and already submitted these thought on toucharcade, but we wanted to post this here as well, thought shortened (character limit): The basic premise is that you are a mouse that likes to eat food, you can move either up, down, left, or right, and then the mouse keeps moving until it touches a piece of food to eat. If there is no object or food in the direction that you sent the mouse, the mouse will run completely off screen into the clutches of a cat that likes to eat mice and thus costing you a life. The trick is of course that there is a certain order in which you have to eat the various pieces of food in order to collect them all without sending the mouse off of the stage. There are also random objects thrown in some stages that you can send your mouse to, to keep him safe and obtain a better position to eat more food. The puzzles are randomly generated but there is still a sense of normal progression, as in the difficulty seems to increase naturally as you move forward despite the fact that the puzzles are random, and after you clear a certain amount of levels, you progress to different "worlds" that have new graphics, different types of food, and new objects. Each world becoming progressivly more challanging. The control couldn't be more perfect, and is some of the best use of touchscreen as a gameplay mechanic we've seen yet. All you do is swipe the direction you want the mouse to run. Simple. There is no designated area on the screen you have to use, just swipe in any direction anywhere on the screen. The input is incredibly responsive, we have not had any delay or incorrect movement accidentally registered in the couple of hours we've played it so far. Very fluid. The presentation is also very solid, high quality colorful graphics, simple yet catchy music, and nice (non standard UI copied) menus. Everything about it is very polished, which again makes us surprised that it didn't get noticed by the general public. This is a game with the same spit and shine as all the big boys. Not to mention the $3 price is just right, especially considering the replay value inherent with it's randomly generated puzzles. If we were to have one complaint it would be that there is a bit of a delay between the time you hit the app icon on your iphone and when you actually start playing the game. It has two brief splash screens, which isn't a big deal, but it also has a loading screen that takes a bit of time, possibly 20 seconds or so. Though, we're assuming that the loading may be the time it takes to generate the set of puzzles for the game, however, to make sure that once the game starts the new puzzles load up instantly even though they are all unique for your current game session. All in all, we've tried around 100 games in the app store, and we'd probably place this somewhere in the top 10. For $3 it is a steal.

This game is highly polished. The graphics are perfect. The gameplay is engaging. Apple should be showcasing this game as an example of what a well executed iPhone game should be! Definately a 5 star game. Look forward to more from this developer.

Quality, this is one of those games you know is good before you start the first level. The attention to detail is obvious from the opening splash screen. The soundtrack will please any audiophile. The graphics are crisp and clean, the screenshot doesn't do it justice. Most importantly, it's fun. If you haven't realized it yet, you really should get this game.

We were a little hesitant to purchase this game because it didn't seem like we got much from the description and pictures. We bought it based on good reviews and we're so glad we did! The graphics and artwork are fantastic, the music is great, and the gameplay is addicting. This feels like a real game. We could see paying $40 to get it for our Nintendo DS and we're so glad to see games like this in the App Store.

It's an absolute crime that an original, beautiful, lovingly crafted, highly polished and thoroughly enjoyable game as this is relegated to obscurity here in the App Store, while hundreds of far inferior or downright useless apps are purchased and downloaded thousands of times. This game is the cream of the crop; it shot straight to our phone's front page as soon as we played it once. The developer truly understands how to craft the ideal casual puzzler with a finely tuned learning and challenge curve — not too easy, not too tough, gently urges you to make more and more strategic choices about which food to go after, and the order in which to do so. The control scheme is elegant in its simplicity and fun to use. The graphics are top-notch. The music is well made, and far from annoying; it really adds to the play experience. This game is a bargain at $2.99, and worth more than dozens of other games at much higher price point. We urge you to download this now, you won't be disappointed. Support this developer with your app dollars, give them the recognition their fine product so richly deserves. Or you can overlook quality apps like this one, drive the small but talented developers away, and find the store filled with dozens of lighter apps, Breakout clones, Sudoku variants, and an endless stream of shoddy tip calculators. Oh wait, that's already happened.

This is such a perfect iPhone game! We wish all the apps in the store were of this quality level. The graphics are excellent, the sound and music are top notch, and the game play and control are the best. If any of you played the iPhone web app Stomp 'em" this is definitely for you. Get this game, it should be in the top downloads IMO.

This is a really cute game. We like it a lot. The graphics are adorable.

The graphics are even better than the screenshots! Play is smooth and great fun. We thought it would be just trying to eat all the food before time runs out, but there is also strategy, since you have to figure out which pieces of food to eat first, which then lead to the next. If your not careful, you will run off the screen and lose a life. Highly recommended.

This game is easy to learn, fun to play and a challenge too. Would be nice to earn points for time remaining after each round. Definitely worth $0.99.

Great game despite the random crashes. Once it's patched it'll be a five star game. We love it, highly addictive.

Adding a relax mode since this has unlimited puzzles where there is no time and no score. Call it therapy mode if you must. Domo.

This game is addicting! The graphics are superb, game play is creative and we just love the premise of it. Also, the price is fantastic. One major bug: If you exit the app in the middle of playing the game and then return, the app crashes when you try to return to your game. It starts to stutter and then crashes. We've had to delete it and then reinstall it on our iPod Touch. Hope that gets fixed in the next update! Besides that, great game! :).

The music in this game is unreal…. Almost like your at a movie… Unbelievable! The little mouse gets out of hand at times… Once you get him going you have to watch or he is off the screen and you loose a life…. Tricky little thing he is! We have to rate this game five stars for colors, graphics, game play and music! The did a wonderful job on this one! Buy it! If you don't like a game like this you will still enjoy the colors, graphics and music! However we would like to see more lifes given through out the game. This game is like a maze type game to where you have to make the right moves or you loose a life by running off the screen…. Or run out of time or get ate by the cat….. We would like to be able to play the game longer and if there were more hearts given it might make it more enjoyable…… It needs something….. For longer game play… Might want to add easy, hard, harder and a no time limit as well with no cat! Will update to five stars with these minor improvements.

Great graphics, but gets repetative real fast.

We got it one day when it was free (yes, the full version!). It kind of like, oh how do we put this, ummm let's just say it -FROZE UP, and deleted itself – and that made us really mad. Like the game, but it could REALLY use a bug fix.

It's good but we hate that if u lose all lifes u restart from lvl1.

Great game! BUT only 3 stars for now.. There are some things the dev team can consider adding to the game to make this truly worth the full price, so here are some suggestions: 1. PAUSE BUG: When you pause mid-game and click 'Resume' it sends your mouse going upwards (and many times it kills you). Must be fixed. 2. Make time a factor of the score you get (more time you take, the less points that goes toward your total) 3. Make getting extra lives a Bit easier, because the difficulty rises quite dramatically after a certain point, making it very difficult to get onto the later levels. 4. Maybe make Easy/Medium/Hard modes? (we.e. Hard mode could give less life oppurtunities and faster time bar, while Easy gives more time and more life oppurtunities) 5. As the inherent level of the puzzles gets harder, you are allowed a bit more time (time bar) to think. (Increasing Time allottment w/ increasing difficulty) 6. Community based High score chart would be nice. 7. Multiplayer: Compete with others in mini games such as how long it takes for each to complete a set number of puzzles and variations of that sort (w/ points, etc.) 8. More game modes such as: – Time attack: given, say 3 minutes, how many levels of puzzles can you complete and points can you get by the end. 9. If most or all of these suggestions were taken into consideration, we think your game would sell much much more, and get the recognition it deserves, So thank you for reading, and we hope these suggestions won't go to waste, as we would really like to see some implemented in future updates.

This is a fun app. Well developed and very polished. However, we think it would add to the game if you could gobble more time during a specific level, not just lives and points. It gets frustrating not being able to solve a level and if you could get to just a little bit more time it might help. Please consider – it's an obvious omission.

Fun, good graphics, and actually cool soundtrack. Only gets 3 stars for 1.99 though. One update would make it easily 4-5 stars and we hAve similar suggestions to other reviews we've seen. Difficulty rises way to quickly for the amount of time they give you to complete a level. For instance you might have gone a ways with 5 lives but then you end up losing them all in 2 levels. Even the ability to replay the level and try again would be better than moving on to a new level. Hope they will update this because it is a good puzzle game with the potential to be great! Updated review: Abandoned by Developer DO NOT BUY.

It screwed up our iPod when we installed it and now it won't even open. It's supposedly "free", but as they say, nothing is free. We paid dearly for this app that won't even open. Calculating the cost in time and frustration of restoring our iPod and reloading everything back on the pod…yeah…we'd say we payed more than it's worth. Install at your own risk.

With the latest version of this app it will not run on our iTouch. It crashes every time. This appears to be related to the resume function. We have uninstalled and reinstalled with the same issue. Reboots don't help either. The only way to get the app to run is to uninstall reinstall but then the game only works for that session. Upon resuming the app will crash all day long. This is an update: The issue is related to the save names. We deleted our saved game and let the game use the default name of "Marv" and the game resumes with no issue. When we had previouslly been using the name of "Duckee1" the game would not/cannot resume from the last save.
