What Makes Mahjong Deluxe Go Stand Out
Mahjong Deluxe is a solitaire game based on the classic Chinese game where you are challenged to eliminate all the tiles from the board. It includes 13 lovely backgrounds and 3,780 different puzzle layouts along with relaxing background music. Besides the classic Chinese theme, it also has a bonus down on the farm theme and lots of fun animal sounds. You will find hours of fun as you eliminate all the tiles from the board.
Mahjong is played with a set of tiles based on Chinese characters and symbols and made for us in China. We have really enjoyed playing this game, but dont understand why it takes so long to get new boards to play. What we try to do is to beat our times while waiting for new boards. We challenge ourselves to get each game played in 3 1/2 minutes or less. How long does it take to get new boards to play? One more thing – there is a glitch in game 121 in Blue Dragon that cannot be completed.
Why, did you Change the Music? Everyone, enjoyed The Asian Music its what gave the Game Character.
We do wish the 2011 version would still be available. Thats the one we like. Im going to delete this Go version. It doesnt measure up to what we think of as the original.
Cant finish Level 13 on Red Dragon because the last 12 tiles dont match. Even after shuffling it 10 different times.
We find that with this last update we have noticed that when we put the game on pause and come back to it maybe a couple of hours later we find that the time clock resets and we noticed the tiles not having a match. So technically you cannot finish the game because there are no more matching tiles. Please fix since we have to discard the game and start all over again. Thank You.
How do we get rid of the stupid farm game? We want the original! Why cant we download it to our iPad.
Another game that has added lengthy ads and we will be deleting after 8 years!!? Yup, they all do it eventually it seams and we will be ok not playing anything on our phone one day. Implied permission if everyone just goes with the flow.
The new update this week must have a bug. We are suddenly unable to open the app without it crashing. We hope this is fixed soon.

Our Mahjong Deluxe has been frozen for several days and we cannot play. How do we get it fixed.
Ive been playing this for years and never get bored of trying to beat our scores. However a few months ago ALL our scores reset and have not come back, throwing away all our progress. In addition, if you beat a certain time, it does not record the win. Please fix this.
Love this game. Played hundreds of games but unable to finish a dragon because the game resets. Found a little circle arrow that is possibly the reason. It does give you a second screen to assure you want to. It looks just like the one asking if you want to continue a previous game. Not sure what is happening but wonder if that is clicked instead. Suggest developers change to make 2 very distinct options unable to be confused. Otherwise the game is very enjoyable. It does not happen yo our husband. Just us.
Too many ads!!! This game used to be fun. Now there are too many ads that remain stuck on the screen if we play a game within a minute we shouldnt have to watch 2 minutes of ads before playing the next oneterrible.
So challenging and addicting, loved it cant wait for more levels, best mahjong out there.
We have the original EnsenaSoft Mah Jong Deluxe (c 2011) as well as this new version. The games are still fun, and we quite enjoy them. But the graphics for this new version, believe it or not, are not as sharp as they are for the original version! The barnyard bonus is funny, and fun to play. Maybe our eyes will get used to the new and improved graphics. We asked our husband to look at the two versions, and he agrees with us, though, so Im not too hopeful. Still, its a good game, the backgrounds are pretty, and we hope we can use this version as much as we used the old one. Im afraid the old one might not work when we upgrade our iPad to iOS 14, which is why we got this new version.
Will new levels be added soon? Ive completed all 504 screens. Please advise. Would like to have more than 105 individual games per each section. Thank you.
New piano music is depressing as hell and sounds like the theme song from a crappy 80s movie.
Why did our MahJongg game turn into barnyard match game? We want the old one back, please.
Fun game but most of the ads lock up the game and the only way to get past it is to close the game or click on the ad. The ads that do have an exit option are usually obscure and hard to see. The ad aggravation is greater than the fun of the game.
Ive been playing this game for years now and we absolutely love it! Two days ago, we lost all our history from the app. Im so upset about this because the thing we loved most about it was we would try to beat our previous time. Also, the game changed after updating the app. Its too easy to complete. If theres a way to restore our previous game, settings and history, we would look forward to playing again. Please help. We really enjoy playing this game, but there are a few times in the last week that there has only been 1 tile that has NO MATCH showing on the board. Today is one such day, this time we took a photo after we hit the magnifying glass to find its match. There was none showing. This is a bit disconcerting. We eventually shuffled, but we should not have to do when we know the game usually automatically shuffles on its own.
Recently we cant get into standings based on scores. It wants us to sign in. When we do so and need it to send us a link for our password it doesnt send it. Are there issues recently? It doesnt update our score and it keeps saying our email address isnt in the right format.
You fixed whatever was causing the app to crash but now our progress for who knows how long has been lost. We were 100% on the yellow and blue groups but now back in low 90s on both.
This used to be an enjoyable game but the ads have gotten so bad it is going to have to go.

We have Mahjong Deluxe Go You updated May 19,2025 and now we have the icon but no longer connects. When we hit icon, goes back to previous screen. Before this, one of our favorite games. We rated according to what we used to have before update.
The latest update for iPhone from 2 days ago crashes every time you try to start the app. Unusable.
We just ran the newest update on May 19, 2025 and now the app will not open. Please correct the issue because we love this version of Mahjong.
This is the second time it just stops working.
We just love the design its so nostalgic to play, we always remember our dad playing this game with us when we were five. Its so fun and relaxing and the graphics are very cute.
We had the old version for many years and have enjoyed it immensely. We recently noticed that we had a duplicate app icon on our iPad thinking we could delete one icon we deleted both. The new version has too many of the same pairs and you cannot reverse or backtrack If you see you made a mistake. Im very unhappy with this version and we wish we could get the old one back.
This app has been around for years now. Its a nice suite but its perpetually flawed with glitches and bugs. For instance, some collections will not keep finished sets beyond 104. The continuity of games fails when switching to and from Barnyard. We gave this a generous 2 as we do like the games and work around the glitches. It really shouldnt be this way for a paid app.
Ive been playing this game for a long time and we Love it! Ive always used the amount of time it takes to play the game, our goal is to finish each game in under 4 minutes. Today we opened the game and all of our times are gone, and replaced with a number of (?). How do we get our times back.
We love this game, play it for hours. We love that you have added so many boards. Takes us forever to get thru all of them which we love. A small request, any way you could code in the option to reshuffle all the boards? We play it so much that we recognize most of the boards, which is fine, but there re. Lot of them that are similar and it would be nice to shuffle them around instead of having the similar ones come up one after the other. Keep up the good work!!!! Cindy.
The puzzle-solving of this game is great. We really only have one complaint about this game, and thats the music. Its too loud, overrides Silent mode, and theres no Settings button option to adjust the volume of the music and/or sound effects (or turn them off altogether). The only way to make it tolerable is to use the buttons on the side of our phone which affects our entire phone and not just the game. The only options we see are to reset scores or to choose between traditional tiles and barnyard animals. There should be one for music and sounds.
Ive this game on our phone. We love playing. It makes you think. Gotta have a strategy.
We play games to escape the weird world we find ourselves in. We do not appreciate Joe Biden ads constantly popping up! Would not appreciate Trump ads either. Politics is NOT what we play for. The game itself is well done, but we wont play again until post-election.

Seriously?? 2The obnoxious water puddle effect that now blurs more than half the game when you select tiles that dont match….?? 3Blue toned tiles now obscure the tile below. Before you were able to see the tile underneath. (Yes, Im aware of undo, but if its the last match, it automatically resets….we prefer to make it more challenging, so we always try to complete the game WITHOUT it resetting, if it does, we start over) 4Numerous Cringeworthy Sound Effects…Good Grief. Why in the world would you add in all these jarring childlike sound effects when the whole premise you present is an Asian inspired setting with music designed to relax..?? And speaking of… 5New Music that changes midstream. We loved the calming music theme, now its suddenly interrupted by a weird string ensemble with electronic tones…that make zero sense. 6The number fonts are now shrunk and look so odd…like they dont belong. It looks cheap. DEVELOPER: Why not update the things that will actually IMPROVE the game? Such as warning when the last action will reset – to give the player another option ?? (Ive suggested that for years….) All the new updates end up serving as hugely frustrating distractions….and ruin what use to be our much needed relaxing pastime. We purchased this many years ago and received full version with no ads. Did an update and now our purchase went away.

Im updating our review from two years ago. Then, we were concerned that we wouldnt enjoy this version as much as we enjoyed the version from 2011. We have played this version now for ages, and we love it. Its fun, and the farmyard bonus games are funny. We play this game every night just before we check our blood pressure, because we find the game very relaxing. Another thing that we really appreciate about the developer is that he responds when we contact him! This is amazing, and makes us feel as if he really does want us to have a good time playing his game.
Still only getting 3 stars after update when completing game in over 4 minutes, but less than 5 min.
Recently the game does not reset when there are no available moves, it gets very annoying. Plus the puffs when tiles are gone are very distracting. We hope there is a fix for the reset and they givw you a choice for that annoying puff.
We really like the game, but there are other mah jhong options. Watching an ad that runs for more than a minute to play a 3 minute game just isn't worth it.
We really enjoy playing the game but when playing it getting annoying when we accidentally hit one of the buttons on the right side. We think it would be helpful if they were on the top or bottom of screen. Just a thought tho we still play the game on our down time.
We love this game unfortunately we ended up in the leadership board and do not know how to get back to the normal game mode. Can anyone help us.
With this latest update we just lost all our previous games and scores It says there are ZERO games in each category and wont keep our scores.
With the last update, all our previously played game results reset to zero. We had played all up to 196 in every level! Very annoyed.
