During our childhood we downloaded this game. We found it difficult since we were young but it the only game that we can look back on with such good memories even 10 years later. Truly a masterpiece of a mobile game. You dont find games like this any more on mobile hopefully you guys release something similar in our life time. Thank you so much truly.

We enjoyed the humor and the music was great, but that was it. Ive stuck it out for a lot of slow paced games, including a few point and click games, but this was just so boring. We played past session two against the Trigon. The thought of facing two more of them would have driven us insane. A full minute just to power up. Combat was different, but ultimately just timing. Puzzles were mostly guess and check until you can figure out what can and cannot be manipulated.
We loved this game. From the strange cigar smoking man, crazy geometric magic, the awesome soundtrack and the aesthetics and the mood. This game remains years after playing it, one of our all-time favorites. Wish thered come a sequel or something of a similar vein from the same guys behind this title Great work.
Please apply some Korean patches.
Totally worth buying if you love beautifully detailed 8-bit graphics, soothing meditative music, and long adventures with an enchanting yet straightforward storyline. Personally we like games with more adventuring and less fighting, but some may disagree. We bought the game hoping it would be a lot like the game Cave Story. Swords & Sworcery is way easier, but because it's a game app, the storyline and the mechanics of the game are way more simple and limited. The game has crashed on us twice, but it at least has saved the place in our game. We also like the fact that you don't have to save your place in the game before your character gets killed which is very convenient.
Our only complaint is the part where you have to wait for a bright and dark moon in the third section. Other than that the game was great with a nice art style and an amazing sound track.
We don't usually wright reviews for apps/games, but this game deserves this! This game is like Journey on the ps3 and ps4. Which we like. The controls are great, the artwork is spectacular. It's all just an amazing game. We recommend this game to everybody who like the games Journey, and Monument Valley. We are not finished with the game, so we are hoping for a spectacular ending. Once again, a miraculous game. Thank you for making this game =D.
This games is pretty cool but we agree on some reviews we've read that the puzzles can be tricky and confusing. Plus this game is great for the IPhone.
We are a very console focused gamer and although we've tried lots of apps we didn't think any could be as great as oh say a ps3 game THIS GAME PROVED ME WRONG SIX STARS!! Any word on a sequel yet? Seriously Jim and superbrothers a sequel would make us eternally grateful But if you want it to be a one time thing we can respect that.
From the story to the music, from the graphics to the immense detail, this game is amazing. Leaves so much to the imagination but isn't lacking in any sense. We love this game. We haven't even beaten yet. Seriously phenomenal. Not for those who hate art or can't stand nonstop action. For those who love games for the stories they tell this is for you.
***Before we begin our review, we'd like to clear something up: This is the Micro version of this game, which means that it only works with iPod Touch/iPhone. Its the exact same game but you will have to buy the other version if you wish to play on iPad. We personally prefer this one because if you're a mobile person than its a nice two dollar or so save. K, review time: A classic point-and-click pixelated RPG adventure that holds a musical experience nobody should miss. This game seriously has to be more popular, c'mon. Its hard ro explain everything without ruining much, but its a really wierd game that focuses on a music-based world. Everything you tap has an output. Content is extremely limited, and will be over in about 3 hours, but its still something you shouldn't miss. Alot to discover and suspenseful moments of being chased by a ghost-like monster make this game alive. If you have some spare cash, buy yourself this and waste the afternoon away in this really relaxing game.
The art style is cool but the game is pointless.
Broken on ios 9, enemies just sit there in battle and dont do anything so you cant progress past certain battles, very fristrating.
Expected to have more fun with all the hype around this game.. Seemed like a lot of pretentious fluff.
This is a fun game but ours got stuck at 37% in a battle screen and won't let you exit or do anything else. We tried contacting the developers on their website and on Twitter and have not received any response. It was only a few dollars but not worth the disappointment.

Yes, the controls are clunky at times and you'll probably need to refer to a walkthrough to complete the game, but this is by far the most thoughtful game for the ios platform yet. It's gorgeous, funny, and a thoroughly unique experience.
This game is brilliant and beautiful. It harkens back to favorite fantasy side scrollers, while integrating musical genius as feedback to gamer choices and actions. It manages to be irreverent while capturing you in the beautiful universe. You are in love with something that humbly doesn't take itself too seriously.
You need to experience the second-person emotional bizarre beautiful storytelling to a fantastic soundtrack with beeps and boops yourself. It's hard to really explain why you need to buy this. Just do it.
We don't understand all the 5 star reviews. This game is very slow, you do a lot of walking and the puzzles are lame.
We like what we've played of this game and would love to see more of it and get our full money's worth. Unfortunately, we've lost our save game progress three consecutive times. Very frustrating, suffice to say. We've uninstalled/reinstalled from iTunes; completed game chapters, seen our % completion being saved… But when we go back, it's square one all over again. We're playing on an iPod (5th generation), running iOS 6.0.2.
Pixel art is beautiful and the game is carefully made so that the slow pace and limited input are actually positive attributes. This is more of a story than an adventure rpg. Nice place to spend some time, worth every penny and more.

This is one of the greatest games we have EVER played, if not THE greatest. We're almost half way done, and dreading the day where we actually beat it – we don't want it to end! PLEASE keep adding parts or new chapters or something so we don't have to die. Best game ever.
This game is not what everybody says it is. Yes most of the game is walking but you also get fight challenging enemies and complete brain stimulating puzzles. The makers of the game have also learned to put sort of a humorous tone into the making of the story as it unfolds.
At first we thought the warrior in this was a man then we learned she's a female. We kinda thought meh this is going to be boring and girly. But we've found it to be a very innovative & relaxing game with great sound quality. It makes us laugh & puts a smile on our face. We think of the warrior in this is just as cool as samus from metroid. She doesn't really speak to our knowledge and we find the her very interesting. We love the fact that you can go around getting high on mushrooms & it gives a spiritual warrior vibe. The pixel art is a masterpiece and we love the artistic value. This version on our phone is so awesome we won't be needing to get it on the pc or iPad its worth the 2.99$ and saves us money while we can have it on the go. This game has become a favorite next to "ridiculous fishing","badland", & "hero academy" and a is must have. Good job capy games can't wait for your next game like "Below" and "Super Time Force". We only hope those come out somewhere like here or on pc other then the Xbox one.
God this game is good. And has a female protagonist! The dialogue, the music, the backgrounds are all so cool. We even got really into how the gameplay is tied to moon phases. It took us forever but every victory made us feel like a champ.

It was challenging at times and requires patience. We never had to look up a walkthrough online. This is a game that rewards experimentation with an interactive interface. The animations are great. Music and sound design is also spot on.
This game was the most beautiful thing we have ever played on any mobile device. One of the more beautiful things we have ever played or seen anywhere, period. This game is a must-have for anyone who appreciates great music, art, gameplay, and story. We cried when we finished the game. No improvements can be made on this game.
We've been eyeing this game, and after it was on sale we decided to get it. We are a huge fan of pixel-y games (for lack of a better word) and this game has amazing pixel-y graphics :) Real fun, us gusta :).
We have heard many who have expressed frustration in the seemingly over simplified graphics. Some claim they can paint just as well in Microsoft paint. These people don't have the will and capacity to understand the beauty of minimalism. To construct such unique characters in such a fully engaged atmosphere, with just few dots of pixels, is truly masterful if not the most difficult task to do. The game strikes a balance in aspects that regurgitated corporate games fail to deliver. This is art, it will make you feel uncomfortable, and that's where you find new and memorable experience.

We were having a bad day at school so we decided to play this, and after playing it we were in a good mood. The sounds and all the effects just put a big smile on our face and we couldn't stop…now they probably think we're weird. Lol but this game is very fun, time consuming and calming. Give it a shot.
Great adventure game, with original music, quirky storyline, and thought provoking puzzles. If you actually waited 10 days to play it, instead of finding the moon grotto, you really missed the multiple hints in the game. The fighting parts are awesome, and the humor is great! Wish the game was longer.

This has been on our radar for a while and we're just now getting around to playing it. It's been so hyped we think we expected to be disappointed. But we were not. Get it.

There isn't enough praise we can throw on this game, and it is hands down the best we have ever played on the iPhone, ranking high on our list of favorite games on any gaming system. If you haven't played this game, buy it now and fund the Superbrothers team's continued releases of amazing games.
It's on our top 5 games with titles such as sotc, mgs, loz, and Mario this games is weird makes no sense at all and you must guide yourself by clues that are given, you must have common sense to figure out what to do next, when u discover something you feel like you really discover something it's totally a master piece in music and design.

This was the most amazing game ever! We give it five stars because the art in this game is incredible. Jim Guthrie's music is amazing and the graphics are beautiful. We like the plot of Sworcery because you have to get through the game with little information on how to complete the game. And we really like how some of the game characters figure out that something may be controlling the Scythican.

An incredible audio and visual experience! It sucked us right in. We wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for something fast-paced and action-y. But if you want to experience something more than that, we totally recommend this. Definitely one of our favorite games on our iPod.
Hands down this is one of the best and most original games we have ever played.
