The game is very good. Developer support makes it great. We had trouble updating the app, but it had error. We emailed Jason, who responded right away, and kept us up to date on his progress. In few days, he got it fixed and emailed with the news. Jason, we can't thank you enough.
We downloaded again and we bought everything and it won't let us restore purchase. Not only that we try to create an account but it won't let us.
We've been playing this game for a couple years now. We've tried other Bowling games, and none of them were as good as this game. Also, anybody else (other than us) notice Darth Vader's Head on some shots down the lane.
Love to play this game with our sister!!! This game is just like bowling at home, but free! We definitely recommend this app.
We enjoy it for the most part, but ours has a really frustrating glitch. It tells us we have to reach a certain score to unlock a new ball, but when we reach the goal… No ball. But the next time we achieve that score we get the new ball. In other words, you have to work twice as hard to get the cookie, lol. But we got the free version, so we can't really complain too much. ;).

Our review is based on a thorough game play experience and you should find the same play experience. Too many strange things to do to make this game fun. Controls are terrible. Not much skill, more luck than anything. Better bowling games out there.
Hey, we're a person who likes fun and realistic games and like to compete with others… Tried this but this wasn't the game for us. No multiplayer, boring to us. BUT WAIT!! Is anyone else on iPad 4th generation having trouble updating game? Keep getting an error stating Galaxy Bowling not compatible with our device.
Decent game but you can't reset the pins without getting pulled to some site from the ad, which is ridiculously annoying, and it's really not worth paying just to get rid of the ads because it's easy to run out of levels quickly.
It's hard to control. When you curve the ball it curves way uncontrollably.
This game needs better pin setting,because every frame the pins fall without rolling the ball down the lane. And please add cartoon support when u get a spare,strike,gutter,split or open please.
Love this app! Helps to pass a lot of boring time on long plane trips. Have even hit 300 more than once. Only one problem: the pin setter and sweeper come down way too soon often sweeping away pins that are still spinning and even some that are in the process of falling down thereby robbing us of a strike or spare. Fix this and the app would be perfect.
When u get a strike or a spare it shows a video of a cool bowling alley with bowling ball and pins boom the ball hits it and spare or strike diffrant ones 2 o and add funny ones please? Please.
It is the only bowling game that includes candlepins. It is played mostly in the New England area. The pins are much thinner, almost look like candles. The balls are also much smaller. As part of this game the pins that are knocked down stay on the lane and can be used to knock down other pins. There are also three balls allowed per frame. The game does need to allow more time for these fallen pins to roll around and take down other pins before going to the next ball. In fact the rules of the real bowling require the bowler to wait until the pins stop rolling. We have had strikes count as spares and spares count as a score of 10.
Great game but, after two or three games the pins fall over before you can throw the ball!! Easy to get a 300 game on ten pin because of it.
Another manipulated game that makes it in our opinion impossible to hit a 300 game the normal way without the pins falling down on there own before you even throw the ball and we've spent hours and hours trying and every time we get close it robs you of a strike. Best game was 298.
All of a sudden, the moving ads on the screen cause the screen to freeze for seconds at a time, including mid-bowl, which sends the ball careening in a random direction. Never had a problem before this particular ad. Now the game is almost unplayable.
It keep throwing gutter balls about 50 percent of the time. Go throw the ball it runs about 1/4 of the way & immediately spins to the right or left & into the gutter it goes. We don't have the tilt on just the swipe for spin. Please fix this soon. Other wise great game.
Everything cost extra plus the bowling mechanics stink. Developers you put out a crummy bowling app and than you want to nickel and dime it? Would never buy another app with your name on it. OH BYE THE WAY THE APP HAS ADVERTISMENTS. JUST A LITTLE ICING ON THERE CAKE.
We got to play one game, after which it started scrolling the camera angle around the alley, with no way to get back to the menu or any other control. Just kept scrolling. Too bad, the one game was enjoyable.
This is a nice fun app for all bowling fans. The action is pretty realistic. We especially love the candlepin and duckpin modes as those are the two styles of bowling we grew up with here in New England. Thank you for that upgrade option. We have one small issue to report. The scoring after a roll happens too quick, especially in candlepin mode. There have been a number of times there was additional pin fall after the initial score was posted, mainly due to continued deadwood action. That rolls score would not adjust. If playing on a spare or strike, this results in lost points. Still a nice fun app.
This is the best bowling game on the App Store. We love playing it and have a few ideas for future updates: 1. Oil patterns: as soon as you hook the ball in the game it hooks. There should be oil patterns where the ball only hooks at the end. Also, players can unlock or buy new patterns. 2. Score at the end: you should be able to see your whole scoreboard at the end. Maybe you can make it scrollable? 3. No realistic chopping. Not a problem but we never chop a pin on this game. Doesn't have to be fixed but putting it out there. 4. Customizable ball: upload a photo from camera roll, album and put it on a ball! Can be part of the upgraded game or buy with points. 5. Candle pin problem: when we play candle pin after a shot it will automatically go to the next shot but it doesn't wait for all the pins to fall, so on the next ball we see pins falling and not being added onto our score. Same with duckpin occasionally. Hopefully some of these improvements can be added to the game. Very fun game, we recommend it to all bowlers.
Just needs to be updated more often and we would upgrade. Last update was August 2013.
As someone else noted, sometimes a yellow rectangle blocks views of the pins, an unwelcome challenge.
Nice to have duckpins and candle pins added, but the scoring is occasionally wrong. Third ball is sometimes counted for strikes and pins left standing doesn't match what you saw your first ball knock down (left a single pin, but went to throw second ball and had a split showing). Overall pin action could be better and sound doesn't match the real sounds of the game. Scores are way too high, fairly easy to shoot 200 in duckpins. Needs updating.
Sometimes a yellow streak appears over the pins and sometimes the lane won't look right (your ball's invincible during this time too.). Please fix.
Paid for the app and now there's a big huge yellow stripe across the screen.
Got ripped of a 300 game the pin starts to fall but goes forward into the game as the pin is half fallen down. Does it a lot.
Had a glitch and had to delete the app and then reinstalled the app. The scores seem lower than they should be. It seems to recognize scores as it did before. For example it says get 230 to unlock the Pluto ball we bowl 230 or more and it won't give you the ball. It seems different when we installed it. Could you see if there is a problem. Best bowling game ever – graphics are great – pin action is awesome & realistic – 5 stars isn't enough, giving 10 stars.
It's ok but leaves a lot of pocket 7-10's and leaves the stiff 10 and stiff 7 pin ALOT.
GAME FOR BOWLING FANS. 5 STARS FOR CHOICE OF LANES AND BOWLING BALLS. ONE REQUEST, we WOULD LIKE TO CHOOSE THE BOWLING BALLS, AND ONE TO FOUR PLAYERS WHEN we PLAY BY ourselves.

We went out of the game and apparently the next day we wanted to play it again and then we checked and the cosmic balls like the moon, Europa, and titan were gone can you try to figure out whats making them go away and maybe try and fix it pls? Thank you.
Its so good because if you swipe the ball left it goes left! If right, right! And if the ball get close, it spins just a teeny little bit! We give it a 4.
A lot of times when we swipe to move the ball the game closes and then you lose connection and lose the game also would be nice to add a chat feature like sayings or something for example nice shot.give upone more game?.etc be more fun to taunt a little.
The app is great! So is the multiplayer option but their is a few things that we wish they would fix like, not being able to sign into a account or having network problems when it comes to asking people for a rematch, or trying to create account with them. We also noticed that their is some glitchs when it comes to knocking down pins or when you should of gotten a strike but didnt. Also when it comes to creating private matches or joining one it doesnt work either. But all in all the app is great.
We love the app, its a lot of fun to play. A couple of things that we find bothersome, though. 100 pin bowling, needs to recognize strikes and spares and count the bonus pins. Candlepin bowling, sounds like billiard balls rather than bowling pins, Im sure a little you tube searching would give a better idea for the appropriate sounds. Duckpin bowling, sounds too much like ten pin. It also has its own sound. There also seems to be an issue with the career stats for averages. Ive looked at our average, bowled a game above our average, and seen our average go down. Likewise, bowled below our average and seen it go up. If its a rolling number of games, and not a true average, thats understandable, but please state it. Also, there is no way to check your version number to make sure that youre up to date. Keep up the good work! Youre close to having a 5 star game.

This is a very fun game! We love all the cool ball designs and lanes. But theres so many ads and its really annoying sometimes. That is the only reason this is getting 4 stars instead of 5.
You have to pay for all modes. It used to be you had to use coins to unlock modes in the old days everything was free make it so you have to use coins to unlock please.
Can someone fix it so that you can ROLL the ball right or left, like we were able to do before the last update.
We liked your game at first but now we think that Ill just have to delete it.Now the ball just goes where it wants to go and sometimes when we have to pick up a spare it goes back to a full set of pins.Other times we are moving the ball into position the ball will just take off on its own and leaves us with another open frame.Im tired of this game doing this to us and am losing the fun it used to be.
Ive had this game on previous phones and everytime we had to restart a new account because when we tried to reset our password by putting in our email address it always says unable to reset password, this is why Im giving it a three star rating, the game itself is good.
Not a review but message to Jason.since the most recent update the ball is sticking or gets locked on one side of the lanefunction of rolling shot across the lane has been almost obsolete. Please advise.
