X vs O Football – Football made simple!
A unique take on the X & O Football game. Draw your own routes for your receivers then hike the ball and play. Try to beat the defense and score touchdowns. The game is played with a variable time limit of 2, 5 or 15 minutes, score as many points within this timeframe as possible. You will always play on the offense.
The quarterback can run or pass the ball. A backwards pass can be thrown again – try plays like the flea flicker. Defense can intercept the ball which will restart from the original line of scrimmage. If a first down is not made after 4 tries you restart from the original line of scrimmage.
Three difficulty levels: high school, college and pro. The harder the difficulty the higher the scores.
Stats are accumulated such as total yards passing, total yards rushing, total touchdowns scored.
SCORING:
A passing touchdown will score 6 points and your team will be awarded points based on yards.
A rushing touchdown will score 7 points and your team will be awarded 2x points based on yards.

Love the game, really enjoy playing. Similar to an early Atari arcade game. Wish we had the option to play defense and keep score.
Fun and distracting game. Love the simple play and ability to design plays. PLEASE consider making this into actual football game (we.e. Playing offense and defense vs. A high score game).

A great game that looked like this (back in the 80's), called Gridiron, was a FULL Football game/simulator. It had offensive and defensive formations… And a good ai to play against. This is nothing close to that. The ai is virtually non-existent… The game is NOT football, but is simply styled after it. No downs, no penalties, no playing defense, no opposing team scores, thus no winner. It's sad when a 2014 game has its butt kicked by a game that is 20 years old.
It's so fun we could play this for hours.

A two player game would be great where you alternate who is on offense. Would probably bump it up to a 5 star.

A cool feature would be to draw out plays before game. Create playbook feature.
It's fun and you really get into it if you'r trying to beat the high score. We're currently #1 woot woot! :-) we would like to see difficult settings in updates. To keep it simple just make the x's faster on harder settings. The score should be different depending on the difficulty. Overall pretty cool.
It would be so much better if it was actually a full game with offense, defense, and special teams and it kept score.
This game is really fun but it would be so much better if u can play defense too for example swiping the d-line where to rush, the linebackers where to fill and the defensive backs where to cover.
This game is so addicting and lots of fun. Love the ability to draw plays, and shake off tackles.
