Good game and very quick to play. We love that we wasn't bombarded with ads. We don't like that you are forced to play an 8 if you don't have another card. Other games like this will allow you to pass instead of having to pay the 8.
We love this version but after playing a few hands, the game hangs up and wont reset. We have to delete the app and then download it again in order to play.
Very entertaining, just when you think youre going to win or lose, youll be surprised.
Nice design. Good game play also includes a variation called Mau Mau. You cannot make a mistake, it is so automated that you dont even need to be there. Thats our only problem, why play if you cant make all the decisions (perfect for children we suppose).
Love this game we started out playing with our daughter and granddaughter and got hooked so now we play online by ourselves and with them.
We love how quickly each game plays.
Sometimes the preferences reset to default. We have the sound off (music and effects) and no card limit set. Sometimes at random the music will come back on and the default is set back to 3 card limit.
We have enjoyed playing this game. Recently, when the game ends, the game does not return to a new game. Please fix! This game has still not been fixed. Whenever we win the game and a new game starts, there are no cards for us…just cards for the other three players. Therefore, we are unable to continue playing the game. We have to turn off the iPad and turn it back on to start a new game. Please fix!! When will you fix this? This is our third time writing. 11/1/18 Game is still broke. 4th time writing. 11/3/18. Game broke. 5th time writing. 11/6/18. Please fix. 11/8/18 crashed again. 11/9/18. Still crashing! When will you correct this flaw? 11/11/18 Whenever we win, the new game gives us no cards. Please fix.
Keeps freezing as soon as you win. Would be a fun game to play if it didnt freeze so much. Have to delete the entire game in order to play again.
The app was recently updated, and yet whenever you win a game it doesnt reset for you to deal. Seriously considering uninstalling it. What the hell was the point of updating.
Its good we just can never win.
Could be fun, but a few problems we see. We think we saw an eight be the first card to start a game, Im new to Crazy Eights, but we dont think thats suppose to happen. When an eight is put down, the new suit, or color in this game, is shown and goes away so fast we cant see it, it would be nice if the new color was displayed somewhere, at least until the next card is played. We cant tell any difference between 6s and 9s in the play pile. If you fix these things, we think itll improve the app.
It was OK anyone could beat you if we had a game competition.
Terribly slow and won't stay on draw we choose. We're looking for another game.
We like the game. Play it every once and awhile to pass the time. The older version was really fast. The new update seems to lag a bit. The new colors are really nice though.
If it was faster, we would've given it five stars. We love the new game except for the speed. But we do enjoy all the new colors they came in with the update.
We played the older version thousands of times. We loved it just the way it was. The new version is so slow that we cannot stand playing it. It is so painful to wait for the cards to turn. We don't care how many cards the other players have to get. Don't show that. Also, when you are drawing cards the backs are light blue. This gives the player the impression they will be getting A blue card. Confusing. Can we download the older version? Otherwise, we won't be playing this game ever again.
We hate this new edition. The game is now so slow and there is no way to adjust speed in the settings. We played two hands and had to quit. We guess we'll be deleting this game. We wish they had left it alone.
Crazy 8's is good but we love mau mau it's so fun we've won most games with it download this app.

We would rate this 5 stars in a sec., we will recommend this to everyone from ages 4 to 94. This game is awesome! We were looking for a game like UNO only not as $$$$, we jut wanted to try this game but now it's one of our faves. This game is definately staying on our iPod.

We love love love this game. Have had NO issues with App at all.
We have been playing this for over a year. For us, it is great. We like the speed in which it plays. The one thing keeping it from 5 stars is the skip feature doesn't always work and it is annoying. We have a skip so the way this plays, if you have a skip you can play it to not be skipped. Most of the times, it allows us to play our skip card. 25% of the time it skips us anyway even if we have a skip to play. Fix.
We like this game a lot. It works really well on our ipad. We wish there was a way to adjust the speed of the game especially playing mau mau because it goes so incredibly fast. We also wish there was an option to manually grab your cards if someone gives you a pick one or two, because it feels more like we are playing instead of the game.
It's like when get a card from the deck they are all the same color, and you never win.
We've been playing this for about a week. In that time we've seen about 2 8's. Also, you have to draw if you can't play. Now, maybe we're just a lucky guy, but when we play with regular cards we almost always draw a card we can use. In this game it's a 95% chance that you'll draw three cards and won't be able to play. You won't win this much, but play is smooth and it's well designed.
It is ok but it should be a multiple player game.
We like the game but we wish It just hade crazy 8 like it said but there's a cool game called subway surfur.
The game moves too quickly. There should be a setting to change the speed and also to not always show you what cards to pick, so you can think for yourself.
Way too easy and its more like uno than crazy eights. (Deleted).
Each hand has a predetermined winner and nothing you do will change who wins. Tested several times with hands we were predetermined to win by drawing every time despite having cards we could play and the games would've lasted forever if we hadn't gotten bored with them and ended them after a while.
This game is a cheat we prefer you not to get this game because it would always make you loose.
We used to play this game when we were a kid glad u made it :) good job to all who made an to person who thought to bring to iOS thank u all. We think this is a worthy APP, we suggest their others "Pinochle" and "Pinochle Gold".
We would agree with the people who say it's rigged. Just got finished playing a game where the opponent on the right used 6 crazy 8's. That shouldn't even be possible. Plus, whenever you change the color, about 3 times out of 10 that color actually comes back around to you. Most of the time, one of the opponents changed the color before your turn comes back. Overall it is fun but seems to be rigged.
