We love this puzzle app. But recently the ads go on for what seems like forever, and a few stay on the screen for ages, never offering the player a way to close it. And we hate having to wade through 3 screens of the same ad before we can access the puzzles.
The last two or three puzzles that we have completed were missing one or two pieces each. Also this has happened in the past.
One of the best and simplest puzzling apps you can ever use. Very few issues with ads; we're paying for them to be removed but we did this after MONTHS of use. Its poop a one-time good purchase. We also love that you can change the background you use color wise for when you're doing your puzzles. This helps throughout the day when different colors are more difficult to work with. !!BUT we do need to ask one favor of the developer!! Please please please please consider having a dark mode for the main part of the app. We ask because the white background is a little too bright for our eyes and because with the way you have the app set we think you could do it really well. Either way thank you so much for hours of splendid enjoyment!!.
Below is our old review. For the most part still valid. But recently notified that we needed to update the app or it would stop working in June. We went to do so and found our iPad will not update. Our iPad works fine, yet it is older Air. We do two puzzles a day, and would hate to lose this app. There should be a way for developer to allow playing without having update. Im not investing in a new iPad just to use this app. Lowered star from 5 to 4 for now. But if we are not allowed to use it, it will go to a 1 PLEASE ALLOW FOR USING PUZZLE APP WITHOUT UPDATE! Old review. Have had this puzzle app for a long time. The choices for size of pieces; and the choice of the paintings which are almost unlimited is fantastic!! The Ability to do the borders first if one chooses to… It has been hours of entertainment. You also can use photos that youve taken. Or download pictures if you like.So you never run out. The only negative which is relatively minor in their repertoire of painting which is pretty extensive, there are several which say coming soon, but never come. Its been several years. We updated it one time and lost the puzzles we did already. So lost our count. Not a usual occurrence. Ive tried other jigsaw puzzle apps this is the best.
We had been using this app for many years and had enjoyed it very much. Recently there was an update that ruined the app. It is ow slow, backgrounds make pieces look a different color on the tray then on the puzzle. The drag motion of the individual pieces is not synchronized with the touch of the screen. We are very disappointed we used to enjoy making jigsaw puzzles here very much and now we will have to look for a new app.
Why cant we download new puzzle anymore.
Absolutely loved this app for years. Opened it yesterday to work on our puzzle and it is horrible! The background is no longer adjustable. The puzzle used to take up the whole iPad screen minus the pieces bar (which was why this WAS best puzzle app); now it is all scrunched up and there is an inch of unused screen! Makes the pieces much smaller. When trying to place a piece into puzzle the piece floats around and much harder to place. We dont see how this can be considered an upgrade! Please undo and reinstall the old version which was perfect.

Our first puzzle app, and we love it.
We love this app so much but our biggest problem is the coming soon ones. We love some of the art and want to be able to put it together and the fact that we cant bothers us. We check often to see if they are available and they arent. Its starting to frustrate us.
We truly enjoy working the puzzles but we have to turn off that music. Smile. Sorry about that. We do enjoy the wide variety of puzzles offered. Thank you. Cary.
While we love this app-the selections and the price (!), we have experienced the frustration of losing the ENTIRE puzzle – a complete crash, meaning the only part that remains is the pieces not yet used. This has happened over and over through the years. Another problem we have mentioned here before is that puzzles that are completed are missing a few pieces, so the system does not recognize the puzzle as completed. If we are doing something wrong, please correct us. We have tried using "history" to recapture our puzzles but nothing works. If this is a crash please own up to it and we'll live or tell us what we can be doing wrong that causes these crashes. Please respond.
We love this app. We enjoy jigsaws, but have little patience and room for all the pieces, as well as two cats who think the pieces are interesting to play with. This is perfect for our needs and very relaxing to play after a tough day at work. The ability to use our own photos is a definite plus for us as we've travelled a great deal and it's fun to have our own pictures as jigsaws. The people behind this are wonderful and really listen to user's suggestions. The hardest level, 1110 pieces is the best for really seeing the picture without the annoying lines while also having very organic piece forms. If you like jigsaws, this is your app! Ive noted a few users complain that pieces are missing! Not true, just slide the entire puzzle around a bit and you will find it every time under the puzzle. In fact, you accidentally lifted your finger or stylus up before it slid into place. Youre welcome! Puzzle and cat lover in Denver.
We have been using this app for several years. Our favorite thing about it is that we can download any image we find on the net, save it to our photo files and then use it as the basis for a puzzle.
We totally recommend it. You can use your photos and make them into puzzles or you can you puzzles you can automatically get for free!!!! Amazing game! Totally recommend it! (Again and again and again).
Our only complaint is not having access to those that are more interesting to us. Not everyone likes to go the same types of puzzles. 90% of those that interest us are always "Coming Soon." It has been months of waiting. We will most likely delete the app if we can't work on something we enjoy.

Good game. Easy to use. First puzzle game so we gave 4 stars because nothing to compare too. We really like that you can use your own photos.
We do love the variety, difficulty and a great selection but am sorry that it keeps saying coming soon on many of the puzzles we would enjoy doing. Right now we've completed all we want to do and would like to have many of the new ones available.
We really enjoy the puzzles this company makes available. The fact that the instructions are simple no muss no fuss and depending on our mood we can keep the pieces large or make them smaller. The best thing is they offer you a large variety of categories and they are free to download is great. If we had any complaints it would be that they show a few categories that when you click on them they say"coming soon" and are not available to download. But to us that's not worth getting to upset over because you get plenty of high quality one to keep you busy.
Fun, a space to place pieces on the left would be useful.

This is as close to our favorite jigsaw desk top game; BrainsBreaker. We like that it offers rotation of pieces and you can create your own puzzles from photos you have saved in your iPad. One enhancement would be having folders available for groups of pieces to be stored in trays as found in BrainsBreaker. Thanks for this great app.

You are on the right track but not quite there. Pieces should be able to lock into their position when correct space is located and tray should be t the bottom and a little larger.
Sometimes find it hard to get pieces to move. Really like the fact that you can make puzzles from your own photos.

This app is really great for passing time, continue to add puzzles. We love the different pictures very different from the kiddy puzzles we always find in the store. We only recommend more challenging puzzles like the Mona Lisa or something. Keep it up.
We love doing these puzzles of great art masterpieces. Turn up the sound andchoose classical music its wonderful. It is Also nice u can make there be more pieces or less to make it harder.

We love it. It definitely keeps us busy. We love that we can control and play our music while we're doing a puzzle and that when we return, our puzzle resumes so we don't have to start over.
You can't go wrong with any of the puzzle plus app. They are one of the few that doesn't bore us fast.
