“I'm so high on this because it's the best of every world. I'm not spending hours and hours senselessly grinding, and I'm not cooking fake food until my eyes bleed. The mix of action and simulation feels right. The pacing is good.” -toucharcade.com

“It's a massive game, with a seriously smart idea that has been executed well. If you're hooked by RPGs and find simulations addictive, this game might just eliminate your free time altogether.” -Pocket Gamer

“We spent way more time than we bargained for with a near-final build as we got sucked into its intricacies, but we’ve managed to tear our thumbs away from the touchscreen long enough to write up some impressions.” -iFanzine.com

●Story
Kamerina's Bar is a typical tavern in the world of an RPG where adventurers gather to share information. YOU are the owner. Gustav, the rich neighborhood restaurant owner, is trying to buyout your tavern. Gustav is a powerful man, if you don't do anything, he will drive you out of business and force you to sell the bar! Best way to defend the take over? WIN THE CROWD! Become the most popular bar in town, so even Gustav can't touch you!

●Game Play

  • Slice Up Monsters for Your Main Dish!
Battles are the best way to get exotic ingredients. Slice up a dragon, and bring back its meat to cook dragon steak! Steal its eggs to make dragon omelets!

Community Insight:

Ive had this app for YEARS! And we still play it every once in a while (we havent completed the game). The storyline is great, the gameplay is awesome, theres no annoying ads, and the best part is that you can play offline. Its like a combination of Final Fantasy with cooking, absolutely love it.

This game is on par with any RPG you can get on a regular console. It takes the classic RPG formula and gives it a novel twist. You can play it when you dont have Wi-Fi or Internet as well.

Always liked this game as a kid and still do we will not be mad if they have another game like this one 10/10.

We dont think Ive ever written a review for a game but we will for this one. This game has been around for a while but its a favorite of ours. We have played it all the way through multiple times over the years and we will continue to do so. If you enjoy games that involve cooking, planning, and adventure with RPG style mechanics then you should download this game. This game is awesome.

Ive had this game since we were like 15. The writing is pretty bad but the gameplay is so nostalgic, we enjoy it immensely. It plays like an old school final fantasy game, but with recipes! Some of the stranger recipes have prompted us to google the dish, and its a great way to decide what to make for dinner IRL haha This game is under appreciated :).

We really love this game. Its so relaxing to play before bed. Its so unique and fun. We wish it was updated but so much fun and we havent explode all of it.

We just wish the controls where better.

We spent a dollar on this game five years ago and have been enjoying it this whole time. It has a good story, pleasing graphics, and solid gameplay. Recommend to anyone.

This game is so amazing. We made it a ritual to play it at least once a year. We have bought this game at least 4 times on different devices, but it is worth it. Its a unique rpg game where you level up by food, to make food you find ingredients, to get ingredients you do dungeons, and with those ingredients you make food. But you have to balance everything from what ingredients to use, what food to sell, what weapons to buy, what food to eats, which characters to use. It is such a nostalgic game to play. The replay ability is extremely high and yet satisfying. We barely found out about Marenias Tavern. Same game style but different storyline. Both games are wonderful and we hope everyone can try these games out at least once.

This game is awesome. Ive been playing on and off for 4 years, Ill forget about it for awhile, remember and come back. Seeing there arent many reviews we assume there arent too many people who even know about this game.. A shame really you can tell the people who made it did a really great job. Well done we hope youre well.

This game reminds us of another game we used to play, Recettear. We need more games like this, gathering ingredients through adventuring to turn around and make and sell in a restaurant! We think more details need to be added in to make the game even better! Such as food type demands depending on seasons! Fall = apple pie, ect… Even as is this game is worth playing! Keep making these.

Adventure bar story is an awesome RPG with great characters gameplay and story plus the replay value is high we wish they made more games like this for iPad instead of the usual pay to win garbage Highly recommended.

Ive been playing this game ever since we were little! Once a year, we always come back to playing this game for about a month before signing off. Its so worth the purchase. Its simple, yet challenging and fun :) we enjoy making the recipes and finding out new recipes (bc they dont tell you every recipe outright). Plus, you can either buy ingredients yourself OR fight for it in side games. We enjoy visiting the markets and talking to the random little people.

We like the importance of item drops over traditional GP/EXP systems. Reminds us of Etrian Odyssey in that respect.

We played a free demo version a while back and really enjoyed it. At the time we were a wee lil one, so we couldnt buy the game. Now that Im an adult Ive definitely done a good thing. And Im sure youre wondering what the good thing is; well we bought the game. 10/10 love it thus far.

Lots of fun. It can be a bit repetitious at times and we dont really like the pressure to use gems, but they are in no way necessary. This game is great.

This is a full blown RPG with simple yet attractive story and great depth. If you do like Mana Khemia and alchemy-style games, this is very similar except its about cooking. Amazing game and thoroughly enjoyable experience. We really need a sequel to this! Please develop.

We freakin love this game! We hope you will too.

Happy we started playing this again.

We wish there were as many full titles as this game. It is a well developed rpg with both cooking and combat mechanic. We wish there were more games like this. 100% worth the money.

This game has the feel of a classic SNES RPG with some really interesting tweaks. There is a lot to do and explore, the characters are endearing, and the restaurant management is a nice touch. Its pleasant and fun, and definitely worth picking up.

An old favorite of ours. Love rpgs, cooking games, and shopkeeping sims, so it was the perfect combo for us! Reminded us of another old fave, recettear, and we've been looking for more like it for years. If you have even the slightest inclination, don't hesitate. This game is totally worth it.

We adore this game we dont regret buying it even a little like we usually do with games we purchase. It had hours and hours of game play and we couldnt put it down. We love the RPG aspect of it and acquiring materials as well as new upgrades weapons. We would buy the sequel or another game like this in a heart beat! We would also donate money if we could to help you in making of a new games. PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER ONE!!! ASAP.

We played this game a while ago. We were really hoping for a sequel.

We've come back to this game multiple times and it only continues to get better even after playing for so long.

Seriously one of the better iOS games we've played.

Pretty classic RPG structure with lots of content.

Fun interesting take on an RPG. IAPs aren't mandatory to play which is nice. Sprites are cute. Main complaint is there's too much stuff! Playing on a phone, scrolling through all the ingredients / dishes gets… Old. Also kinda annoying you can't rotate your screen (awkward to play with our phone plugged in and port on wrong side).

This is a great game so far. Very well balanced mechanics make it not too easy but not too hard.

Run around and kill monsters for their delicious ingredients to save your small town bar / restaurant.

Running a restaurant by making menus with the food you cook from ingredients found from monsters. Good thing the app is updated so newer iOS devices can run the app.

Very fun and completely playable with out paying a thing. Although, it's amazing how far .99 can take you. Adventure On.

From Mogauni in the well to Evil Lord Stepp in the puzzle box dungeon this game is perfect. Our only complaint is that you can't rotate the screen.

Older title but still fun to play. A bit grindy and basic but otherwise good value for money.

Simple, old school, fun. Good for mobile and in small doses, great time killer. We like it.

We really enjoy the game, it has a lot of content and things to keep you busy. Our only complaint is that it doesn't have the best tutorial and your left trying to figure out how to do certain things on your own. Luckily there are wiki guides for the game, so that helps with the learning curve.

Paid money for a game and the sound and music do not work.

We can play about 2 minutes before the ok and menu icons stop working. There is a 50% chance that a dialogue can't be forwarded because the game doesn't recognize controls are being pushed.

A small RPG games has IAP with costs as high as $170? Don't kid us.

Tutorial is brief and doesn't cover much of anything,so there is a ton of guess work and lots of failure. Bon appetite.

This game reminds us of gust's alchemists games only simpler with a basic story line it's easy to play. You own a restaurant that is going out of business. So in order to save your business you explore different locations with a few monsters and boss fights to gather food items and use items to cook recipes then you sell the food items you cook to customers. It's very straight forward. The only thing we don't like is you have to use guess work to solve some recipes.

This is an amazing RPG and we hope it get 64-but support before iOS 11 arrives.

No, this isn't made by the same people as rune factory, but if you liked RF you'll love this too.

Great ! Fun ! Keeps us entertained away from responsibility lol.

One of our favorite apps for our iphone. We look forward to their next game.

This is how a game supposed to be! If you love J-Rpg old school this game definitely a keeper.

The battle system gets a lot more fun as you learn skills. Don't be turned away after the first encounter seems bland! Also collecting the ingredients and discovering new recipes to make/sell at your restarting is a fun motivator to get out in the world for materials.

Having fun with what we have played so far.

We love this game it's on all our devices. We play it at work it's simple to pick up and play anytime.

The old-school RPG gamer in us really likes this, even if making the menu is a bit of a challenge. It's a good challenge.
