This was a wonderful game for many years until the update. The game no longer works.
Lots of fun to play! We do wish there was a pro version without ads.
We paid for this game as a pro version because it was ad free. After many happy years of playing it started locking up on launch. The only fix was to uninstall and reinstall the game with apparently a new version that includes ads, despite the fact that we paid for this game. Not cool.
The Scopa gameplay is great, but the ad integration (which cannot be avoided) is a buggy mess, which has a significant negative impact on the gameplay.
Awesome game and ads are more tolerable than most games.
Whatever algorithm this game uses for gameplay is out of whack. Theres no discernible difference between easy and difficult settings, the opponent almost always gets the settebello and no matter what style of play you use it almost always wins. Ive been playing this game since we were a child and we can tell you it does not feel like real gameplay at all.
Didnt even realize there WAS an update because tho you claim ro update the app REGULARLY u failed to do so for a 2 year period! Let us guess, u added more ads? Even for pro users.
Download the app, start the app and have an ad before we see the game? Complete trash, instantly deleted, epic fail.

Doesnt shuffle the cards well. You will get a lot of hands with 2 or 3 identical cards with your opponent. Its a lot of fun though.
Shuffling is done very poorly. Both hands get the same cards quite often.
We got this game to play with 4 player on the internet but it doesnt want to connect. Frustrating.
We way to play on line since December 2017 Do you want to do anything about it.
We originally purchased the free version of this app. The adds became annoying, so we decided to upgrade to the add free version. We purchased the app and since then the app will not start. Ive tried to contact the company but no one has responded. The app is ok when it works, but not getting a response after spending a few dollars is enough for us to look somewhere else.
Unless its just us for some weird reason, the only thing close to possible instructions, the Guide, is greyed out and unselectable. This is the same for your other similar games.
We have been playing Scopa Pro for years and have loved it! We don't understand why the developers would ruin a perfectly good game. The drop down "Its your turn," and the fading out of cards is both distracting and annoying. The game was perfect the way it was and now it's terrible. We don't think we will be playing it anymore. If you are thinking about buying this game, DON'T.
Great app for playing Scopa! We play for scopa all the time and we have to say app looks and works great. The app is well designed and offers offer a variety of classic Italian cards from different regions of Italy. Unfortunately, multiplayer has been down for a few months now, PLEASE FIX MULTIPLAYER.
This used to be a great game, until the update a few months ago that disabled multiplayer. This feature was the reason we purchased this app, but now we can only play a boring artificial intelligence opponent. No fun! Fix your s#*t.

We LOVE THE GAME!!! It has been great up until this latest update. Then all the problems started!!!! We cannot load it on our iPhone 5 any longer. We normally play 8-10 different times per day! Please fix the problem.
We have used this Scopa app for the past several years with no problems. All of a sudden, they do a MAJOR update, and it won't even load in. We have tried on all three of our iOS devicessame thing. It has been about a week now, and there is still no sign of them fixing the issue. We feel confident they will, and will revise our review once they do, but come on.
Obviously they eff-ed sumthin up bad. At first it opened but you couldn't play other people, only the computer. But there was a message telling you that and it would be fixed in an upcoming update. Now the app just doesn't load at all. We're using an iPhone 6s Plus and we are running the latest iOS, 10.1.1 and we're also using the paid version that eliminates the ads. Please fix this.
[Update] The new version is completely broken and will not launch (having tried many iOS devices). Don't waste your time. [Previous] The game itself is fine. The computer does seem to have an uncanny ability to always make the exact right play based on our cards, but it's not unwinnable. Before buying the in-app purchase, the ads are intrusive and uglytypically for other games with tiny little Xs to close the ad. The purchase price was fine, but even after purchase you have to wait between games for a little timer to countdown during which you're prompted to share on Facebook or Twitter. It's annoying and unnecessary. We can't quite recommend it, but it's solid if you can get past the annoyances.
The game is so full of ads and promotional stuff it is hardly useful to open up and try to enjoy it anymore. Possibly was created by some good people but was bought out and taken over by game hacks and corrupted. It is a rigged PA game.
Plays well enough but forces you to start new games in an effort to display more advertising and tons of modal dialogs that interfere with game play.
The artificial intelligence is horrible. Cards for the computer are decided during play, making it extremely difficult to win.
We lose so many games we don't know how we possibly got to the pro level?!? Pretty ridiculous How hard it is.
The game plays smoothly but on the pro level it is thoroughly rigged to the computer. It is like playing video blackjack in Las Vegas where the house wins no matter how well you play. We enjoy playing the game but this makes us quit far sooner than planned. Fix it to be a true deal and balanced for five stars.
We have tried a lot of the scopa apps and we like this one the best. We came to scopa after finding that it was the game casino was based on while different games they are very similar. The expert mode cane be challenging but not impossible.
Nearly impossible to win on easy.
We first played this game while on our study abroad semester in Italy. We played with our language teacher in Milan and it was so fun and easy to learn. We bought a deck of cards to play with family and friends when there's table space, otherwise this app offers up a comparable and competitive option on our phone. Great job – download the app and learn how to play.
Good competition from the computer without the usual 'cheats'. Computer opponent doesn't always get the best cards. Really good way to practice your Scopa skills.
Great game wish the cards were a bit bigger.
We like the look of the cards and the speed with which they're dealt, but this game would be more fun if it were weighted more evenly. The settebello goes to the computer's side about 80-90% of the time. Often for several hands in a row cards are dealt to us that can't win anything that's on the table. There are two other Scopa games that feel like real games where we have a better chance of winning.
The "computer opponent" gets the Scopa card 9 out of 10 games, and "let's" you win 9 out of 10 games. Just enough to make you think you are competing and keep playing. We are DONE with this one and trying another brand.
Went from 5 stars to 3. Besides the increasing rate of ads, it's now hard to open since the game hasn't been optimized for most current iOS. Perfect Christmas gift our eye. Get with it. You have a good game, but it needs to stay current.
Good game however conflict with ads and games prevents game sometimes from booting up. No responses customer service complaints.
We like the game except that AI wins 95% of the time. It gets all the cards as it needs them and does whatever it wants to win. Play knowing you're gonna lose and it's ok, think you can win and you drive yourself mad.
Pay for pro you still see advertising. Terrible.
We enjoy the game but the ads are really invasive. So we paid for the ads free version. It worked for a while but the ads came back. Emails to the support line went unanswered.
Computer gets good cards against all odds. Last game we played the settebello went in the computer's hands five consecutive times. If you leave chance to do scopa on the table , be sure most of the time he will. Definitely needs some rebalance. Otherwise scopa is a fun game to play.
You have to pay to remove ads from the pro version. Not cool.
So many wonderful Italian card games and a smooth interface with the latest version of iOS.
Could be a little faster with points between hands but overall it is very entertaining.
The current version is slow and seems to get hung up often. Menu and Options tabs don't work. App shuts down automatically at times. Not fun to play anymore.
We get the feeling that this game is rigged, the reason we' m saying this, is because every time we are on a winning streak, the game turns around and it does not give us a chance to play our winning strategy anymore, by giving us nothing to play with, in other words it sets us up where we cannot throw a card that the computer plays against us, regardless of what we throw down. The other thing is that this computer software is set up to scopa on you no matter what you do to prevent it. We think it should be reviewed and corrected accordingly. But that is our personal opinion: Dialetto.
This is by far the best app to play Scopa… Best function and we like the table layout and design much better than other apps.
A "giocchi", a game that is not only fun to play, but also requires the player to think– to not merely match cards, but to try to think a move ahead, remembering which cards have already been played (where is that Settissimo?). One of the best iOS card games on the market, if not the best.
