Community Insight:
Simple strategy game that isnt timed. Can play a fast game or put it down and come back later. Our favorite part? The ads are minimal and wont require watching a long video! We get a lot more play time to ad ratio than a lot of other games. Ill be keeping this one. Our kids like it too.
Our whole family loves this game! We make it a competition by seeing who gets the most points without reshuffling, and it teaches our younger ones some math skills while doing it! Win/win for everyone.
Very addicting. We are only writing this review so it will stop asking us to :).
Very addicting somewhat of skill can't stop playing.
We love this game because, we Ray to play Candy Crush and am stopped at level 70 for about a year now. 2048 is like that game accept with numbers being the key to moving forward which makes it easier for us to play well.
You'll get hooked trying to get a better score than the last time.
Nice addictive But also annoying reminder.
Great game for passing some time and it's challenging to boot.
The colors and tunes make it even more fun for killing a few minutes.
The game is a good game. However, whats the point of earning coins if you dont have much you can do with the coins. Maybe sell power ups? And the sound. Why cant we turn the sound off? Sometimes you dont want to hear what youre doing.
Started with the game Power of 2. It gets us farther than this game. It seems harder. Not much room with only 16 squares as compared with 25. Our grandkids will like it though.
We would give a better rating if they provide dark background option to reduce glare especially for "little dots" game.
Other than the board being 4×4 instead of Power of 2s 5×5. We're not sure what the difference is between these games. We love Power of 2. This one is boring and too easy in comparison. But it might be better for younger players or those who find the pieces too difficult to move in the older game.
Every time you finish a game, you are forced to watch ad advertisement for another game. After the new iPhone update, the board is bigger than the phone screen and no way to make it fit the screen.
Its fun but it can get expensive… It doesn't give options other than to keep buying moves to shuffle… The reminder is annoying Deleting it.
This game is an okay, though difficult 2048 game — actually more like a 64/128 game as getting to 2048 would be pretty much impossible if you don't buy lots of coins to constantly reshuffle. Which gets to our complaint about the game makers revenue model. This is one of those games that uses its addictive quality to get you to keep buying coins. And that is on top of ads that are present at the bottom of the screen. With more that pop up between rounds. And then more that are videos you can't turn off without watching. Sort of like "have a bit of game play with the advertisements.".
It wont stay silent. We tap the sounds icon to silence it, we turn the sound off on our iPad and it insists on chiming loudly ALL THE TIME! And getting it to minimize so we can do something else requires us to shut down our iPad, click on a news story, then we can swipe it closed. Ive decided to delete it. The annoyance isnt worth it.
