We have been playing this game for a few years and we think it is a good game.

We like this game because we like to make making them better than it really is.
The game itself is great but we linked our account with Facebook and now it lost our account and theres no way for us to get it back. We have to totally restart. We contacted customer support and they took 2 days to respond. After they did respond we sent them all of our info and its been 12 hours and they havent responded again. We dont know what to do we already spent money on the game and had great progress. Guess Ill just wait another 2 days.
The only thing we do not like about the game is quests involve spending real money and one of our quests expired before we got paidd. So, we lost our growth package before we got paid because we were too poor to buy it.
Just wish youd update it to include all base game features including notifications.
Needs an update to play on the new servers. When will the update to allow LK Xmas to play on the new Americae 1 server be out.
Definitely a long term title worth trying out. Itll keep you entertained and you can always come back to it, its very forgiving but it can also be challenging and competitive. Your progress and these challenges are regulated by how much time you choose to invest which could be between a little to a lot. So careful! Very addictive, also try the vanilla version before this one. Itll help you enjoy the small differences.
With the festive music, and the variety of it, along with the new and improved building upgrade sounds, and the constant ambient sounds of the castle in the background it is a great new version. We wish you would make the regular version of lords and nights more like this one. We love it! Keep up the good work. Also this one does not have as many glitches with the video prompts and voiceover and the sounds and music to not stop after using voice dictation like what happens with the original version of lords and nights and Celtic tribes. This version and edition of this game are amazing. Our favorite one so far.
What else can we say except that you can play for free.
One year ago we would have given the app a 4 star rating. The graphics involved in this game are non existent, which is ok, because it is a "line text" game with a battle system synchronized on a server by server basis. (Like a DOS game that you can make in computer class.) Within the past year, the game has become "pay to play," as the developers have encouraged real money usage that cripples more "regular" players of the game. To put things in perspective for you, we have spent around $500 on this game over the past 2 years, which we would consider a "strong" supporter. There are users out there who dwarf our spending amount. The problem arises when these users also maintain and use "robots" in connection with the game. Developers look the other way at infractions against the game's Terms of Use, as long as those players keep using real money to build their "empire." our advice: stay away. The game is addicting and fun, but it is not the same as it was when we started, as it was highly competitive. Now however, the "learning curve" favors spending $50/week instead of learning the game's mechanics and playing it. For $50 a week there are other more engaging and visually stimulating games we would rather spend our time and money on. (Deer hunter). We didn't have "buyer's remorse" when we purchased game content with real money in the past, but now, observing the changes to the game, we are full of it. If you want a highly competitive game, where you have interactions against actual players, this is not the game for you, unless you want to compete with the dollar amount that you spend with a group of about 50 players who spend large amounts of money, weekly.

Only can log in once and it gets stuck after that while logging in… IOS… Loading screen is up and game is frozen.
It's fun to have a holiday version of this terrific game! We'd like to see the same features that are available in the regular version, though, such as attack warnings. The omission of such an important feature is the only reason we gave this version 4 out of 5 stars.
It's too bad that they did not update this version as they did the primary game app. Oh well.
Since the Apple ios9 update does not work. Please fix.
Once this was a great game. No more. Too many players use bots to cheat. Humans can not compete with a computer bot. Advise do not play as you will be disappointed. The worse part is developers refuse to address issue of cheating.
So about 7 months ago we went looking for an app to play on our new iPad that would be fun and take up a bit of time. We knew we liked medieval stuff and MMO's so we gave this a try. While we will admit it isn't visually pleasing with combat and fighting scenes, we really enjoy playing it as a long term game that remains enjoyable day after day. We looked for other games that had some of the same aspects as this one but haven't been able to find a better game on the iPad yet! With this game slow and steady win the race. You will find yourself playing 1 or more times a day every day. You don't need to spend money if you don't want to which is a plus! If you're downloading now for the first time we recommend joining an alliance that is in your castle area to help you out. It's a teamwork game. If you roll solo you will get eaten! Good luck.
This is by far our favorite game to play on the iPad. We love the teamwork, the strategy, and the people we meet along the way. However, this latest update is very bad visually. It is much harder to read form posts, harder to determine building upgrades, and the colors are darker. We are not a fan of the new look whatsoever. Please give us an option to go back to the original look and feel.
We can't login with email, keeps saying wrong password but we can get on original L&K pls fix.

Great strategy. Mature environment. Met some respectable players. Love playing on multiple devices. Of course the graphics could be improved and would love to see the server checks move a bit smoother, but this is a free game. A month in and we haven't payed a dime, but play it daily. Great.

We like it! It is definitely a little bit of a change and also helps you get in the Christmas mood. Which we like. It's for sure worth downloading. Nothing about how the game is played changes. Just adds a little bit of snow and some Christmas music and that's it. We're glad the creators of this game are continuing to do different things with it. We definitely like to see that.

Been playing this game for awhile and theres something soothing about playing it during the holiday season.
The game and its mechanics are amazing, however it seems the game has fallen off a bit in terms of maintenance. The game has issues updating on all systems whenever a tab is opened up, as well as messages, or sometimes these reports or new messages are delayed. The game should also be set with a server time and for anyone outside that timezone can have the option to have their time in parentheses available as well or not. Otherwise, a great strategy game to play.
We love this game and it has had several improvements overtime. The one part we are still having issues with is the starter pack, the king pack, and the newsletter registration. No matter how many times we try to get our reward for the newsletter, it tells us that it was successful, but when we go back to the game, the task is still incomplete. We tried to purchase the starter pack and the king pack, and have money to do so, however , after completing the purchase, it says unsuccessful and we do not get these rewards. We really wish you would work on that.
