Ubisoft, ever since you bought the game, it has only lead to a downward spiral. Ive played this game for about 10 years and we still question why we still do. We tried to enjoy the game, however Im unable to simply log in because the mods are unable to fix their own issues. Too many players logging in at once! The fact there are more bots than real online players is a sign of a declining game and that is down to pure incompetency from your team. Yet the team still fail to address this issue. Until the time comes where the team have some self awareness, the game will be non existent by then. We encourage your team to fix this before its too late. As of now, you and your team are operating a sinking ship barely above waters. The community is running out of patience with the fact you dont treat your game with any care nor respect.
FIX THE SERVER and LOG IN ISSUE.
In all honesty , this game could deserve a little more love. Im going to talk about the pros and cons this game has. Starting with the pros, this game is for all the business folks who want to practice before they get into the real thing. It helps you adapt to what the outside world has to offer. You will find out very quickly how everyone is, game or in real life. You get to build whatever you want depending on the blocks they have. The items they have are awesome and it feels good to get the items you get. Cons Starting off with how expensive they are. It doesnt give new players a chance to improve in this game. The way they changed the log in status . They make it harder especially for the ones who played before ubisoft bought the whole game . Please try ur best to not need an email verification when we havent played too long . This game takes way too long to get rich unless you spay real money. Good luck to whoever reads this whole thing.

We loved this game ive been playing since we were in elementary school currently in our 20s. This game has turned so bad the servers cant keep up its full of bots and the economy is horrible. We tried logging into our account recently and they wont allow us without a parent/guardian and a ID verification & Credit check..?? Super buggy super disappointed with what growtopia has become.
Ubisoft has been making some awesome changes to the game with the addition of dungeons and they are working on getting rid of a lot of the bots finally. Although they are promoting inflation still within the economy they are still constantly updating and adding new items which keeps it feeling new! Ive been playing this game for over a decade and we still love it.
Is there a reason why you guys dont fix the bot situation the bots mess up everything its been several years that this game has been unplayable but yet you guys want us to spend our money on your game but cant even give back to the Growtopia community which is 1 thing and one thing only deal with these bots this is why so many people quit the game.
So slow now with the amount of people, classic capitalist Ubisoft investing more money and time into milking its players instead of investing in gameplay. Pathetic takeover by standards of not upgrading the platforms compatibility. Great updates of items though we love that part being with growtopia for 12 years.
We give this game a 4 star cause we love this game but connecting and logging is a problem that we get a lot, if Im on our WiFi it says error connecting and if we turn it off the WiFi it lets us login but we cant really play if its laggy and get disconnected and idk how to fix it. Overall good game.
Ubisoft genuinely ruined this game.. Servers too small, lags 90% of the time, doesnt let you in most of the time, kicks us out WAY too many times. This game just isnt good anymore and its just sad because we know these things couldve been fixed ubisoft just doesnt care.
Still giving it a 5 stars because it a awesome game but pls fix the issue with the servers it keeps kicking out folks like us and the player count,well not sure about that maybe to many bots or just getting popular.
We used to play all the time back in 2016.. Crazy to believe this game made us such amazing friends that comforted us throughout our childhood especially during dark times. Had to give to give it a 5 stars to appreciate the hard work you guys are still doing.
Growtopia has been a game ive played for give or take 7+ years. This game has brought us tons of memories with friends and random people we have met in game that we still think of today, we would definitely download and play if you havent.
Im an og grow id user and everytime our game tries to connect it just takes 30 minutes and gives us a loop of error codes and tells us to try again later. Please help. We miss playing this game, we used to stream it on twitch as a source of side revenue.
We havent played Growtopia in a long time but we decided to play it again yesterday since it was our favorite game back then but with that being said we made a new account and bought a couple packs to get a head start but suddenly when we were at buywings we got a 730 day banned hopefully we can get the help we need to recover the account or a better explanation to why it happened to have banned us but Im really disappointed.
The game itself was amazing from 2012-2018 after around Covid the game itself kinda fell apart from the looks of it and the server is constantly always full with BOTS which is very aggravating when youre just trying to play a game after a long day of work, we grew up playing this game and seeing as the bot problem still hasnt been handled after 6 years is insane we hope to see growtopia improve Ive wasted many years on this game hense a account got hacked and wrongfully suspended and we tried to contact support and the refused to do anything about it so Ive given up on the account growtopia team please improve your game and stop focusing on only money please the game could last longer with some minor tweaks make account limits to a smaller range via 1-3 accounts per ip address make it to where they cant bypass any walls n so on further miss old growtopia please make Growtopia great again! Ive been playing this game since 2015 (we were 15 yrs old). This game was our livelihood. And oh man was we hooked. All we could ever do is think about getting back home and hopping on our PHONE or TABLET (unfortunately wasnt able to have/get a pc) and grinding with our brother just to get our first WorldLock. The countless time and the endless nights of farming, bouncing between worlds, and meeting news friends. Back when those very same friends youve made (that could be across the world) gave you items for free. Just because they had no interest in it, and never looked at the market value of the item. Thats just what kind of people this game first brought together. Good, kind, whole hearted people of nationalities across the world. This isnt a noob mad about people not giving him stuff or not donating to us, dont believe us? Youre more than welcome to visit our world RCOOL, maybe stay and have a chat with us (IF and WHENEVER we can LOG ON). OHHH That brings us to our next point. With the year 2025 half way through and 10 years of developing and adding onto the game, youd think itd be way better than ever, right? Wrong.. Unfortunately from what we saw and what Ive seen, it all started when Ubisoft started fully taking over the game and its servers. Slowly by slowly the game became buggy. Getting kicked out of worlds. Trying to log in countless times only to get a Locating server.. Or Getting server address screen for hours on end. Back out, try and log in, back out, try and log in. Its been really horrible. With locks having 180 days log in timer, and not being able to restock or maintain your own world. Or when you cant even log in when carnival is in town or a Locke bot location is publicized. At this point it seems like Ubisoft is just straight up ignoring this problem now. Knowing the money, time, and memories these kids, adults and older generations of Growtopia have spent on this game, it feels pretty disrespectful and is upsetting. It seems like if youre not on a pc, you might as well move on and install a different cross platform community game, due to the fact Ubisoft isnt performing as well as youd think a developing company should. Also the fact that the community isnt being completely heard, about this issue. We would LOVE to rate this game 5 stars, but seeing the fact we cant log on and we might lose worlds or items because of that, we can hardly even rate it. Im willing to change our review whenever this problem is permanently addressed, until then Long story short. We love this game. We love this game. People across the world love and play this game. Ive been playing this game for over ten years. This game carried our childhood, we made so many close friends and even got to meet some of them. We tried logging back in after a few years of being inactive but theres always an issue with the server. This game changed a lot. Now its full of bots and everyones gambling, its lost all the nostalgia it used to hold. We miss Seth and Hamumu.
To all the OG players out there we know we used to enjoy the game however once Ubisoft took hold of it everything changed and became so bad scamming never got nerfed hackers well theyre still an issue bots are still an issue and overall the game is losing its color we used to be crazy in this game we gave everything we had to our little brother hoping that hed enjoy it however he stopped playing as well Im gonna check on the game because we still have a little care for it but just know if youre looking for how it used to be give up your search now.
Its an addicting game because it is based around economic growth, but if you didnt start early goodluck getting anywhere in the game. Also WARNING. They nuked our world which had over 5000$ worth of items and over 10 years of work in, for absolutely no reason. We try to email the support and they say all nuked worlds stay nuked in a bot response.
Growtopia is a game that holds great memories.
Growtopia could be great again if it would actually stay connected for more than 5 minutes. The servers are terrible constant lag spikes, random disconnects, and half the time you cant even log in. Hackers run wild, bots flood the chat, and casinos (CSN) are everywhere despite supposedly being banned. Its like the game is more about dodging scams than actually playing. We want to enjoy it, but the horrible connection and lack of control over hackers/bots make it exhausting.
Really nice game and loving comunity but we cannot get on cuz of "error connecting" we have good wifi and no ping spikes its been a week since we have gotten on there is nothing we can do Fix this ubisoft, just do it bro we wanna enjoy this childhood game.
Log in stuck we cant play any time.
Half the time we cant play cause it just says locating server or server is full try again later. Too many bots on all the time.

This game was absolutely amazing been playing since we were 12-13 we never had a problem with the servers before Ubisoft bought it now all it does is tell us we have connection issues and telling us to try again which is really aggravating considering this started a while ago and never got fixed.
PLEASE FIX THE ISSUE OF LOG IN THAT IT STAYS STUCK ON LOCATING SERVER THEN GIVES AN ERROR CONNECTING PLEASE FIX.
Our account got banned after they said that we refunded something but we havnt eventhough we spent alot of money into the game.
The bots are so annoying in events etc the devs and the game is pretty much dead for these reasons the game is good but this has been an issue for years and they just dont do anything about it.

Back when Seth and Hamumu ran the show and the game actually had soul. We built worlds, made friends, had fun. Great community. Then Ubisoft came in. Slowly but surely, it became all about money. Limited-time offers that stay forever, overpriced items, events that feel lazy, and a community flooded with bots, scammers, and zero moderation. The servers? Trash. The updates? Mid at best. The vibe? Gone. We kept playing out of nostalgia, hoping it would turn around. It never did. If youre new here, just know: you missed the golden age. If youre an OG, you already know this game died a long time ago. Ubisoft didnt just change Growtopia, they killed it. The game earned the stars, the management earned the downfall.
Holy cow Ive missed this game its still as good as ever and theres still so many people playing.
Was a long time player, we started playing when in the beginning of high school we were 14 years old and now Im 25 years old and this game will never be the same. Ever since Ubisoft took over this game has gone way downhill.
We have playing this game for more than 8 years but to make the game alive again like in the past they must make the banned players unbanned we remember our brother got banned for no reason.
We have been playing this game since forever but recently we havent been able to play a lot because we cant even log on. This really is a problem for IOS we dont know if anyone else can log in on computer but it wont load and we dont think it is an internet issue.

We love this game so much but the servers are ran on a potato if Ubisoft really cared they would do better for their game. The game is not working right we checked to see if it was our wifi or our service and its not we told our girlfriend to try it on her phone and its doing the same thing as well with our brother this game needs to get fixed we been trying to play but Ill log in and it would load in and then 10 seconds later it will say error connecting and kick us out back to the loading page and say try again in 30 sec we did that and says to many people logging in at once and there is just way to much. Bots in this game u guys need to step up your game and fix the game Seth and hamumu made they had it running good until they passed it over to you guys ban the bots !!!!! It is a great game and is very creative. However, if you arent on a computer, you can forget about it. The only times it was fun (Personal opinion) was on consoles and computers. However when we came back to the game on phone it was a buggy mess. Although our internet was good it operated poorly, however we dont know if this is on us or the game. One thing that we will note though is that playing on a phone is quite a mess. Everywhere you click is an ad as your screen is too small. When you go to an ad you cant escape it either, however this is likely due to the ad and not the game.

This game has always been great! Sadly over time with new owners came more problems. The biggest one being a greedy company that cares more about money rather than its own players that are keeping their own games alive. It doesnt take much to make a good ban system that gets rid of bots. It makes this game unplayable and is probably the reason why so many people quit / keep wanting to. Nobody is asking for new items, just a new system in which we can get rid of all these bots all together.
The amount of scamming bots is actually insane, and they are in every popular world. Please, do something about this it absolutely ruins gameplay.

This used to be our favorite game, Ive been playing it since we were 10, im 18 now. Sad to see how a game this good isnt being treated properly. Developers are more focused on the in game events than the actual servers that allow us players to play growtopia. Everyday at least 3 times theres 70k+ bots. We will forever love this game.
Been playing this game since 2014 and have a lot of amazing memories made a ton of friends but now almost all the players are just bots advertising for their casino world. Almost every trade world is filled with them with not many real players. Sad to see and Ubisoft does nothing to stop the bots or get people to play this game again. And all the remaining players are just rich because you can just buy a BGL for 20$ lol so theres no real point in playing or grinding the game. To sum it all up this is a dead game were the remaining players are just gambling addicts and the more than half of the 70k players online are just bots.
