Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

We like the sets. We can see how improved to the highest level, paying attention to the nuances. We have been absent minded all our life, but now less. It is a good exercise to hone to exercise your brain matter. Worth paying a little and no adds. Maybe other games are better, but this one is fun.

Neurologist recommended this. It is helpful and gradually increases the challenge level.

We look forward to playing this every day and some times we play it several times a day. It's really fun and we feel like we're getting something out of it.

Ive enjoyed brain yoga for quite a few years now. We dont have to be worried about getting bored as there is a good variety of games and you can increase the difficulty of each game as well. We feel like it helps keep our mind sharper as a senior and makes us feel like we havent lost all our gray matter. Its an awesome way to learn how to play on line games as you can progress as you see fit, and it offers you the opportunity to work on skills you think may be lacking. We reccomend to any one who finds mind games challenging as its not directed at any particular age group. Even our grandson and we like to challenge each other to see what games we do best at and which is a greater challenge.

This is what we turn to to help us wake up each morning and be ready to start our day. The puzzles are fun and the soundtrack is soothing. The encouraging words are so helpful also. Our day starts better when it starts with Brain Yoga.

This is a great game of very high quality. The ads are all 5 second ads and they arent frequent.

These are excellent games. We play these games every day they are addicted in some aspects mostly because we realize that as we play each game more and more we became more intuitive in our thinking increase our vocabulary a bit and its a challenge the special one especially boggles our mind still but we work on it we can get the easier ones but it gives us something to look forward to each day to try doing involve our brain in that type of thought thank you very much we very much enjoy the app.

We love that theres no timer, no pressure. Some games we have on easy settings, some on the hardest. Its great to be able to individualize the different game styles. Im over 900 on daily workouts, so you know we like it.

We have been playing this game/app as therapy for a recent concussion. We have a high IQ and logic is our forte.but for the life of us, we cannot figure out what this apps definition of sets is.either better matching/set logic is needed or better instructions as to what the app considers to be matching logic. (we are using this app along with Peak and Lumosity and this is the only app/game that makes no sense. In all the apps/games we are showing improvement in scoring from day to day except for this app/game.).

We love this app but we have to say that this app has the most ads on the internet. Please do something about this. Sometime we feel we waste so much time waiting for adds to finish that we think off deleting the Brain Yoga app. Help.

Ive had this game for years. But now an ad plays, we can click on the part to get the add, it we cannot close it to continue the game. We have to close the game which means we can only play one or no games at a time.

Ive enjoyed relaxing with this app for a long time. Suddenly Im being jolted alert by frequent loud ads. Definitely ruins a good time.

Ive played this game for four years and have mostly enjoyed it. We wish the answers didnt disappear so rapidly, so we could look them over for a minute. And now you have included ads, which you never had before. It greatly takes away our interest in the games. We dislike being interrupted time and again while trying to relax with the game. Thank you for listening.

Another game ruined by the ads. We get why there are ads, its how theyre presented thats the issue. Popping up at random times, being forced to watch ads in ever increasing lengths, destroys the whole concept of the game. For us, $5 is too much to pay.

We enjoy the quiet and concentration of the challenges this app provides,,,, but and its a big but,,, why have u not considered how jarring u allow your ads 2 b!!! Completely destroys the help the app provides.

We just love this game we try to play it every night before bed! We love the game that is basically sudoku but with shapes, we can't find that anywhere else.

This app is a good friend. We have used it for years consistently. It was among the first apps we loaded on to our new phone. Thank you and good job.

This is one of the better games available to play. Very calming and not a ton of ads.

We get to pick which games we want to play and no timers. Yay great job. Ive had this game since we had our aneurysm and it has helped a lot. We have and still do recommend it.

This has been the longest game Ive had in our phone. We usually delete others due to the abundance of ads (we absolutely understand sitting through ads as a trade off for a free game, but some more recent games Ive played have been ridiculous, having more ads than playing time). The only ads we get can be skipped after five seconds, and they dont pop up during the actual games- just before or after. There are several different types of games within this app to choose from, and difficulty levels can be chosen for each one. Another thing we like(d) is that there were no deceptive videos to lure us to download this, as there were with games like Fishdom or the Scapes series. We hope this app sticks around for a while, because we love it.

We've been glad to have found this game since our brain injury, 9 yrs ago! Our brain has loved it ever since! Helps keep things sharp in there… That's a bit of an oxymoronic phrase since the brain is very soft, but we assume you knew that since you're here reading this and considering downloading it :) Do! You'll be happy you did.

Brain Yoga is an awesome suite of games. Our favorite is a puzzle with pieces of words that you have to put together to form a list of words spelled horizontally. It is totally engrossing and not timed. Way more satisfying than even Wordle. The other games involving logic and numeracy are challenging as well. We like the fact that there are many levels to each game from easy to ball buster. Get Brain Yoga and give your brain a tuneup now.

We enjoy playing each of the games and the variety. We feel we need the challenge since Im retired. We like being able to choose the difficulty level.

Lots of variety, lots of levels of challenge, this is a great app to take with you everywhere.

Sarah deserves Developer of The Century. Every single one of Sarahs apps are Masterpieces of not only the technology, but also of thoughtful content, simple graphics, and consistent care for the end user. We play every single one of them ! And because Sarah is refined, you wont KNOW of her marvelous cache of quality games UNLESS you seek them out ! We recommend everyone does. Just Brain Yoga alone is Developer Nectar, so rich and endlessly satisfying ! Just imagine what ten or eleven MORE challenging or calming Masterworks will do for your poor Candy-Crush-rotted brain ! Cheers to YOU, Sarah ! Thank you so much.

Love the games, even got our husband to do them.

We have been searching games to assist with our short term memory issues. We keep downloading multiple apps trying to get the variety we need. This is our first time playing but we have played each one in this app and am excited and hopeful to see if this helps us. Thank you for you time and effort and for making this available for us to be able to use. Blessings to you.

We love this game. Its so relaxing and fun. Thank you for making it and keeping it maintained.

We know this sounds weird but when we play a certain game in this app that works on the lazy area of our brain we feel kind of light headed. Not in the dangerous sense, just almost a bit nauseated. It doesn't last and it's barely noticeable if we ignore it, and stops as soon as we stop exercising that area of our brain! We love the relaxing music. It calms us and helps us refocus. We love that you can set a reminder for daily brain stimulation exercises. The app is very user friendly too.

We really enjoy the card match game.

We use this everyday. It is relaxing but has the eliminate of challenge that we need to keep it interesting. Truly enjoy this. Dont change a thing.

Love the game. Been playing for years. This game we love but Ive noticed nearing the end of 2022 more ads popping up. We cant enjoy the game anymore because we have to friggin wait to play. Love the game but will delete because we HATE ads commercials anything which interrupts what Im watching or playing. Ads r like the spam pop ups from the 90s. Completely irritating and annoying. Thank you for a really entertaining game of which unfortunately we will no longer play. U took away the last good puzzle game with junk. Dang :(.

We love this app but the answers are so fast that we cant learn from our mistakes. Low then down so we can see where we went wrong. Thanks.

Great games. Peaceful music. But why not the ability to save games? Even if you keep it in the background it will refresh and erase all your progress. That is very frustrating especially after paying the full price. Besides that we love it.

Need more time to see answers. Maybe a key stroke.

This game has a lot of positives that are almost outweighed by one serious negative (plus a few too many ads, Id rather just pay a few bucks). Pros: a good variety of games, the ability to set the difficulty level, lets you play the daily game selection more than once, plus unlimited times on individual games. (A lot of these brain games limit game play unless you pay a premium.) However our eyes are not bad (we dont have to wear glasses) but this game is so hard to see in some games. The Patterns and Logic games have terrible contrast (medium/dark colors on medium/dark backgrounds). The Planning game has subtle grooves in wood that arent easy to see. And while Im not colorblind we feel compelled to point out that the special game is really not colorblind friendly nor is the logic game. The fonts in the game are thin and pale. As a graphic designer we just want to be able to customize and fix these issue because they hurt game play so much. Their development/graphics team just needs to view these games in freyscale to see how bad the issue is, or view under colorblind filters that come in apps like photoshop. Or just use safe rulese.g. Dont put medium colors on medium backgrounds and dont use red and green together. We dont usually write reviews but because we like this product we took the time to write this in the hopes that this issue is addressed. Im tempted to quit playing because we get so frustrated playing the patterns game which is our favorite. Its so hard to see red on medium gray etc. We hope this is changed sometime in the future.

Pattern matching. Seems simple. In programming, though, we expect it's quite complicated. The definition in game is a bit ambiguous, but the programming does not match the definition. The definition does not specify that ALL attributes must be the same or different, so clearly at least one set of attributes must be different in order to form a set. But what if 3 attributes are different? The programming doesn't recognize this. We'll give an example from level 4. Colors are magenta, teal, and green. Patterns are striped, blank, and filled. Shapes are triangle, square, and circle. Only the number is the same for each in the set: two. But the programming doesn't recognize this set, even though it fits the definition. By the way, the definition implies that it is possible to match cards that are completely identical in every way (all four attributes match) but clearly the game doesn't provide such opportunities. So perhaps the definition should be revised to clarify how the programming actually handles sets internally.

Ive had this app for years and until recently we played it for a couple of hours everyday. We believe it helps keep our mind sharp at 71. Then the ads started. The ads are a deterrent for playing the game and the music is loud and obtrusive. We despise it.

Graphics are so light can hardly see the prompts. Theres no way to record our progress. The music is annoying, its confusing how to play some of the games. And we still havent figured out how to adjust the difficulty. Also we keep on getting pop-up advertisements. So annoying.

There was no way to close out the app other than to shut our phone off. Deleted immediately.

We love these games!! They are so fun and occasionally make our head hurt . . . In a good way. The only improvement we can think of is to allow a bit more time to study the solution when you have to cry uncle and use the pass button. The play again banner pops up too fast to have much of a chance to wrap our brain around the solution.

Best relaxing and stress free yoga for the brain! We've enjoyed this app for a few years now and its still a keeper for us! Thank you developers for all that you've accomplished with this game.

This is the game we go to first when game time is on our agenda! That way, if our time is limited, we know this will fulfill our gaming need. =) At first we skipped the ones that are not in our wheel house, but the different levels allowed us to gain confidence and eventually climb the levels. Very encouraging and satisfying. The couple that are timed challenge us, and we need that. Love it! Best game ever for engaging our brain in different areas. Thank you.

We have found this is an excellent part of our intentional relaxation and meditation. We use the tiles puzzle almost every day before our meditation. Takes longer if Im not at Peace. Its relaxing. Im sad to find today its Apple only! Our dear cousin wants it ! Cant get it on her android cell or tablet. Thanks Sarah for keeping us interested and helping us relax more for years.

Just what we were looking for…relaxing, but challenging. Can play at our own speed. Can adjust level of each section to match our skill or mood. Interesting variety.

We love this app!! It keeps the brain engaged in constructive activity, while like a mental massage, the soothing music melts away stress. Thank you, Sarah, for providing consistent quality and attention to detail for hours of cerebral bliss.

Got this a couple of years ago and, after a couple of periods of not playing it, we find ourselves coming back to it again and again. We particularly like that it doesnt time our responses; most games throw you out is you dont answer quickly enough. We guess Im just a slow thinker.

We start our day off with Brain Yoga. If we dont Im like in a fog until we do. Keeps us on our toes. Love it.

We just discovered this app and we're so fascinated that in just three days pass it out through the whole family.

We love this app!!! It helps us stay sharp and regulates our awareness to our iq level. We love how you can challenge the difficulty levels as desired to keep challenging the brain to grow and change. We rarely have time to play, but when we do we realize how we must change our ways of thinking to stay sharp snd focused! The creators of this app definitely had the consciousness of the player in mind with love and grace to grow! Thank you so much for this app.
