Community Insight:
It seems that there's more and more storybook apps appearing on the App Store, however, this one is polished. It looks like the book is open, has great and silly voices reading it for you have has pop-up book and interactive bits. It would be a fun app for kids.
We initially had a problem with the sound – turned out to be the mute switch on our iPad (which, oddly, doesn't affect other sounds or music.) Once we got that working, it was a lot more fun.
This one is awesome! Much better than the other Chugginton apps. Are 20-month-old loves it! Great graphics and intuitive. Our favorite part was putting the chuggers to sleep, perfect for bedtime routine.
Seems to be a well made game, but for the price tag doesn't seem to be much there. Our son was finished in ten minutes. Would be a five star game at a lower price point.
We have a big Chuggington fan in our house (really anything Disney!), so had to give this a try. A different sort of book, but our son knew exactly what to do on the iPad. Even our oldest wanted to try. They loved the stretch-claw scene and meeting the new characters. Definitely recommend.
