The app most certainly works when you need it to. On occasion it does tend to be tough to use the control but Im sure that was just a problem with the type of phone Im currently using. This definitely comes in handy when you dont have a SixAxis control, or simply just want to try something new.
It says ps4 not found. Its connected to the same WiFi and turned on. The game is playing in it.
The app isnt formatted to for the screen on our iPhone X.
Pls make one without having to use the ps4.

We like the app we think it was good we were surprised on how they did it man we wish there will be a second beyond two souls but they don't plan to make another one.
David Cage you're awesome pleeeeeaase make a sequel of this magnificent game! Been playing for 4 years still can't get enough,the story , graphics , everything is awesome but camera.
We haven't played the game BUT we know this. People who rated it 1 star DONT READ THE DESC. It CLEARLY says "a controller".
Makes the game so much easier to play. Works with no problems on our ps3, not sure why this wonderful app is getting such bad reviews just because it's not a mobile version of the game. We guess some people haven't figured out how to read descriptions yet.
Are you kidding us? Making this game on a phone would NOT be possible (at least without sacrificing the graphics ridiculously). How are you going to rate it one star for not being the game, when it wasn't even advertised as the game if you'd read the description. There's a few reviews here where they rate it 1 star because it's not a game…. Our god are people really that lazy and unable to comprehend??? It says right there in the description that this is a CONTROLLER, and NOT A GAME. It's an add on for the game if you already own it for PS3, oh and the idiots blaming the app for not working with PS4 when it doesn't say anywhere that it's compatible… Our favorite is the one that "had to buy bother controller for $60" just to get the platinum trophy because it didn't work for their PS4, ffs. It does what it says, nothing more. It worked exactly as advertised for us and didn't have any problems.
App is no longer connecting to PS3. No option to change what app is trying to connect to. Only displays "no PS4 found." Don't have a PS4 and app was working great until we went back to start a new game today.
You say the app can be played/installed by 4 and up, but the disk covers rating says MA we're confused, and we are twelve, and we need an answer. Please tell us what should we do.
We do everyting and im cant play.
We cant seem to get it to work correctly with scenes where you need to move the controller.
We love the idea of the app but whenever we use it it returns to the main menu off the app if we dont constantly touch it.

We really like the game and we really want to play it but the only problem is we cant play because you have to connect with a play station so we cant play it so if you want to have more views pls let it dont connect with play station we really can just watch it on YouTuber Chanel so please enable that to connect with a play station pls pls.

This game is not working dont get.
We wanted to play this game but its only made to play on ps3 and ps4.
The app is actually a joke. It simply wont work on our PS4. It needs to be updated to support the PS4. There are still people playing games on this console in 2020 believe it or not.
We started to download this app onto our phone since we already have the game on our console. They showed an app where you have better experiences for playing & playing as Aiden to control the game on your phone. Turns out, it was asking for us to log in to PlayStation Network, we did that & it wasn't working. Then, it asks us to log in again. We're like you know what this is pretty useless. We delete it off our phone when we were streaming it to do our first playthrough. By the way, if you're interested & you always can stop by at Twitch.TV/LuckyGirlGamer1 feel free & you will always feel welcome. We promise you, you won't regret it.
Please make it playable and not as a controller we dont have a ps4 and cant afford it Ive always wanted to play this game we would be so happy if we could play it without the ps4.
As we tried to load the app the log in wont work no matter how many times we use it, it just said failed to load and when we try to refresh it it refuses to work, which we dont want to deal with every time we want to play with a friend on this game.

We need help on how to play because every time we download this game we always have to connect it to a ps4 which we dont have so how can we play on our iPhone.
It says now can connect to PS4 yeah got it all connected and we see the blue soul line and can flick the control around BUT NOTHING HAPPENS oh come on we thought it would be cool to use our phone but we cant use our phone thats crap man.

We have been trying to use this app for a couple days now. All it keep telling us is that there is no ps4 found. We do not have a ps4 we have a ps3. It says it can be used on ps3 so we do not understand why it will not connects.
We have never seen a game with such unintuitive controls in our life. Its like they realized that the in-game controls were broken, so instead of fixing them, they designed a completely different, equally broken set of controls on an entirely different device. Now you have two sets of controls that the player potentially needs to learn to get the most out of your game. Ive tried both and they both leave much to be desired. Either you play with your game controller and deal with the slight wonkiness, or you drain your phone battery using it as a second screen and are unable to use your phone for anything else while you play this (EXTREMELY SLOW-PACED AND CINEMATIC) game.
We dont see any reason for this app to exist. Connected it to our PS4 pro, and it doesnt seem to offer anything at all over a controller. The controls for this game are clunky at best so we were hoping for something to make the game play more tolerable but this app does nothing to make the gaming better.

Why make a game that has to be used with an app that will only connect to ps3 available on ps4. Ive waited for the game to download and now Ive found that it cant even connect you really need to specify that in the games description.

The Title says it all, it did Not work,we really wanted to play for the first time, we lost our stuff but our phone, now we can't play, we wanted our brother to play too, now he is sad.
You need to have bought a PS and the game in order to play it on your phone. There seems to be the option to buy it but it just takes you to a defunct Facebook page! This app is useless.
We downloaded this app on our iPhone 7 Plus after installing Beyond: Two Souls on our PS4. While we can launch both the game and the app, connect the app to the PlayStation, and get it to recognize things in the game it's supposed to control, the app has absolutely no response in-game. We're not sure whether it's a compatibility issue with the PS4 version or our phone, but the app is useless.
We have a PS3 and won't work. All it will show is the PS3 controller. And on the app shows no ps4 found. We are playing with a PS3 WTFlower.
This app doesn't even work on the ps4. We tried to use our controller and this app to play in duo mode to get 2 trophies and it was never detected. So we had to buy another $60 controller just to get the platinum for this game. So dumb. VERY MISLEADING APP.
We thought we can play from our mobile device without needing a playstaion.
