What a little gem to bad developers run out of money or whatever happened idk exactly . Ive supported the app by purchasing upgrades but we guess they never went back to the drawing board and continue on for some reason.
A solid shooter with good controls and challenging encounters, but nothing outstanding. It's great that you can stop and resume play in mid level easily, so you really can play as little or as much as you want. Many other action games lack this. We can play for 30 seconds, earn 5-10 upgrade points, and exit the game without losing progress. Enemy types gradually become more varied in behavior and capability, but it never feels epic. Upgrades are not very innovative, but they are adequate and feel useful. You have to grind to buy them, but they are permanent, which is good when we want a game with continual power growth. Would be more interesting with a larger variety of special attacks to swap around. But the 4 that exist all feel distinctly useful.
This is an awesome game!! Absolutely love it. We would give 5 stars, but the upgrades are way too expensive. And unless you plan on playing the same level over and over once you get stuck…..then you'll never beat the game. Either give more cash for the drops during play, or lower the cost for upgrades.

This is a good game. We have a lot of time to kill. Are you waiting for your wife to finish shopping and we have the second edition.
Have to stay on an easier, lucrative level to get all the needed upgrades unless you want to pay which we never do. Its easier to do so because you can get over two hundred per game on some levels compared to 60 or so on average with its little brother, but its still tedious. You really need most of the available weapons to make it through . We were stopped by a tough Boss level so we had to go back to get the weapons we need to advance.
This game is entertaining and helps pass the time. The one thing that we don't like is the blue shield icon. You don't get enough shielding to make a difference. Otherwise the game is pretty good.
Need update, is not working with joystick yet.
Great game! Also…what does the u.s. ITunes app store have against system optimizer apps, system memory refreshing apps, & battery boosting apps? Seriously! Every time we find one that does it all, inevitably the app store phases it out. These types of utilities are readily available in every other store, but not in the u.s. Store. It's as though apple doesn't want it's customers to be able to enjoy the benefits of this type of utility, and they don't have the right to decide that for their customers. (and yet they have done just that) hasn't anyone out there noticed this? We cannot be the only person.
It would be nice to be able to replay your favorite levels.

This game is Great we have been waiting for this update FOREVER.
You should be able to go back and replay levels without resetting the entire game. Very fun, but we agree it needs more levels; when you're done, can't do anything except the "endless wave" version.
Great game, nice controls, challenging and fun but once you beat it you can play the endless wave option forever or start again and lose your upgrades and purchases like the second level. Never seen this before.

Could be a great game but the developer seems to have abandoned it years ago. You have to buy a bunch of upgrades to keep going, but in the end there's no place to go. It's a win for the app seller and a loss for the customer.
First we thought this one would be better than it's "brother" Space Cadet. Yet after the third time resetting itself to 1st level our desire for more was completely gone. Waste of time.
Why do we have to pay for this game twice? We've been waiting for the update for a while, now it says we have to pay another 1.99 Crazy. You can keep it.

Fun! Looks great! We really enjoy the original Space Cadet and this one is also really cool.
We love the noises it makes when you shoot. The game keeps us on the edge of our seat, lots of surprises! The graphics are way cool too and the bosses at the end if the waves are challenging but doable. The control on the game is also very intuitive and responsive.
Saw this app pop up on some website. Decided to try it. So far it is tons of fun. Can't wait to keep playing tonight.
Ok. We love this game and the graphics, ships, etc. You go through waves of aliens and bosses and it keeps getting more challenging. It took a while but got through it. To complete the game, it takes you to wave 28 but there is a special weapon unlock at wave 30 and you get no special credits when you destroy the boss? Kind of weird. Great fun to still play.

This is an amazing game, very addictive, but it gets too hard too fast forcing you to pony up for an endless stream on in app purchases. The game was so good that we broke our rules on the matter and paid $5 only to find out that that took us just one level, and now if we want to progress further we need to pony up another 5 bucks. And on and on it goes. We refuse to be a sucker for greedy developers. And hence this review. This whole business model is a plague on mobile devices and will not last, just ask zynga.
