We downloaded this game on our dads phone when we were like 7 and now Im 17 and we end up remembering it and redownloading it a couple times a year and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it actually got an update and a whole new mini game.
It is currently 1am and we have to be up at 6. We literally cannot stop playing. Its such a simple game but it just keeps you coming back wanting to rescue more animals.
To start off, we love this game! We love the rewind feature and unlocking new animals as we go, so it doesnt feel like we get too far into the game and just get bored. Our main problem is pets. They dont have any function in the game expect for decoration purposes. We never really strive to get them while exploring unless its the only clue we get and we really have no desire to keep collecting them. We think that there could be a few different ways that you can make them more beneficial to keep. For example, maybe making it a goal for players to collect different animal variants or quirks. Another way is maybe to make keeping valuable pets more of a priority is by the pets giving you gifts like coins, discobux, etc. We know that one may be difficult with time rewinds, but it may make them more fun to collect. But overall it isnt a huge issue for us and we still love the game nonetheless.

We recently downloaded but we used to play it all the time when we were your we always loved this game.
Besides the game being cute, fun and easy to learn, you can turn the ads completely off. In the year of our lord 2025 this is a game you dont have to deal with ads constantly. Five stars, Id give 6 if we could.

The first time we played this game we must have been around 10, now Im 19 and its still so good. Ads are optional only if you want extra turns on the puzzle games, which is a big part of if we wanna play a certain game or not because we find it annoying. It has mini games and isnt super easy which is good bc u can play it for a good amount of time! Theres a lot of stuff to unlock and mini games. The little pixel animals are so cute and we recommend this game to everyone we know.

We found this game from playing Crossy Road and though Id try if out. This is only our second day playing and Im already knowing Im logging in every day! Shout out to the devs and Crossy Road for giving them their own custom skin.
Ive been playing this game since we were 10 or 11. Im almost 20 now and its still a great game! It has no popups or ads unless you click to watch a video for something which is almost unheard of now for mobile games. We love the research they did on biodiversity and cultural mythology for the mythical animals! Its visually stunning and so easy to play, and you cant beat it super fast, it takes time. We love the new animals they added as well. If they keep up this quality Ill be sure to come back and play it again once Ive beaten it this time like we have for years before.
So we have played the game for well over a few years now and we still think its a great game but can we say something about the time rewind? If we had to do the rewind many times just to unlock a new timeless, can there be a way to retain your progression animals and coins even after one too many rewinds and still pursue the timeless animals? We just wish that theres a way to keep your zoo progress after way too many times and not pay discobux for it Hope this reaches you.
Our only complaint is that we wish there were marine animals too.
We downloaded disco zoo in high school and randomly remembered it. Im now an adult and it is still every bit as cute, fun, and relaxing.
Best game ever we loved it as a kid and its still just as good.
BEST GAME EVER ( other than pocket trains, pocket planes, and tiny tower).
First there are no annoying ads unless you click watch ad for something second we love playing the two hidden mini games they are super cool third you can have a disco party and collect animals when you have a disco party, they will dance and bounce around.
Now, Im not really a review guy, but this game is perfection. Its simple but at the same time enjoyable, with cute animals that you can interact with, fun puzzles that make you not only think, but also develop logic skills too in a joyful manner. Absolute cinema.
This is the best game ever, we played it as a kid, its so simple and we love this game with all our heart. The animals are so cute purr? And we love collecting them in the rescue game. We just wish the name tags didnt cost disco bucks, but thats ok, Im still naming them things our gf likes like spiderman and sunflower.

We loved all the places and animals and some of the mini games like disco pop and funky bus.
This is a list of all the stuff to make disco zoo even better! 1. A music box can let you change the music of your zoo to the regional music or funky bus music! 2. More secret Easter eggs for people to find and discover like if you tap a certain visitor you can get a secret mini game. 3. You can go in the zoo office and see all your collection of animals. For example, it could say bronze, silver, gold, or diamond is checked off. Finally 4. More hats and decor like a bucket hat or a mini television. Thats all we want to add to disco zoo, but the game is suppppper amazing! Bye.
Um its great, if you want your children to learn how to use money correctly and how to treat a pet GET IT.
We love this game so much!! We love how simple it is and somehow we never get bored. We also really like the new updates. (Not sure if theyre really NEW but we had this game on our old phone and it didnt have these.) we really like the animal hospital and how you can make them your pets! 10/10 would recommend.

This game is everything a mobile game should be. The gameplay loop is very engaging, and there is tons of replayability. Ive been playing on and off since 2018. The game does a good job of giving you enough of their premium currency discobux and doesnt force purchases down your throat. Amazing game, buying the zoopedia was the only purchase Ive made, 1000% worth it.

We will say one bad thing about this game, it is so so hard to get discobux. We are not a very patient person, but you rely on the daily rewards. Not all of them give discobux. We love this game so much. It is our favorite game.
Its fun to play and we enjoy the fact it does not shove adds at us and we have unlimited attempts to get the animals if we are willing to watch adds but it does not force us over all 9/10 fun to play and chill.
We dont usually write reviews, but this is one of the few games Ive played for several months without getting sick of it. Gameplay is simple and entertaining without being addictive/without-end, there are no annoying advertisements (which is a big win in todays game economy), and it incorporates a variety of mini activities to keep it from being boring as you progress. As someone who is actively against paying for mobile games, we even paid the optional $3 for the zoopedia!! We progressed far enough that it was hard to keep track of all the animal designs on our own, and we have no regrets. This game is lovely. If youre looking for something to fill little gaps of time in your day, look no further.
We love this game! We play it everyday. Our game has been buggy ever since the new iOS update and it makes our game slow down intermittently. Id love if this could be addressed.

We like the disco parties and the rescue missions, but sometimes like when our piggy bank is full, you have to pay your app is sometimes greedy.
This game is so cute and addicting. We remember downloading when we were a kid and really enjoyed it (we still do). We definitely recommend giving this game a try. It is also free to play meaning you dont need to spend real money on completing the game.
We just went back to this game. We do know this game is atleast 2 or 3 years old but we like the new update.

Whoever thought of putting that balloon game there is genius because it beats waiting for people to give you coins (we remember those days, those were dark times) Also we love that it is free and has no ads (please make sure that they dont take away this beautiful oasis of sixteen-bit pleasure).
This game is the perfect combination of idle background and interaction! We like that it's more or less endless but there are goals you hit that are clear and achievable. The best part though for us is that there are no pop-up adds!!! We actually bought the optional zoopedia patterns because we hope the game stays this ad-free. :).
