We have owned this game for several years and played it many times because we havent been able to find newer games we like as much as Emberwing and the other Boomzap fantasy gamesthe Otherworld and Awakening series games. Emberwing is our favorite of these, and we wish Boomzap would do a sequel to this game. Our only complaint about Emberwing is that no matter how many times we play it, we can only find 49/50 of the hidden collectibles in the game, and that is with diligent scrutinizing in every scene. We wonder if somebody at Boomzap miscounted the collectibles, or if the game is faulty in some way. Whichever it is, please fix it. It drives us crazy every time. Again, Boomzap, please do a sequel of this game! And release remastered versions of all the Awakening and Otherworld games for iPad.
The game said we played for 30 hours! Thats a lot of game play for $6.99. Of course if you download it and pay later its only $2.99. Search for Emberwing on the App Store as there are two versions of the same game. Graphics are great but its tough to get around – we find ourselves hitting the hint button all the time for the first half of the game. Its a bit tiresome as we cant see how this game plot worked for the first half of the game. The second half was better. You have a kid and a dragon helping you at the end, which was very fun, especially to see how the pet dragon is used. Not too much magic, although the potions and the altars are a bit much. Most of the dragons and elves are good looking and well drawn. You get your moneys worth for game play for sure.
There isnt enough we can say about this game. Super long well done so worth the money spent. We hope so much for a second one.. We never ever review. But this one warranted it. A couple of issue ..hard at times to get the items to click in.. So we got confused, the hints arent always the greatest .. However it made us think things through. A very enjoyable game. Well done.
Finally a less predictable game. Challenging (played at the more difficult setting) and original. It even made us laugh a time or two. We recommend.
We think we have played about ALL the games big fish has to offer. This was by far the best game Ive ever played. Graphics are stunning and so well done. Music not annoying. Storyline very interesting and quite a long game. Even the puzzles were much more interesting than Ive ever played. Great job Boom Zap! We want more! The only downfall we would say maybe bc its an older game sometimes youd have to find just the right spot on an object to make it interact which can be frustrating. But worth every penny.
This game is thoroughly challenging; entertaining; fabulous; long; and a joy to play. One of the best games we have ever played. Wish that there was a sequel.

Excellent graphics and storyline.
We must admit we wasn't sure we liked it at first but the more we played it the better it got. The mini games were unique and switched things up from the usual hidden object games. Oh, and we love dragons.
This is an excellent game! You will play for hours! We couldnt believe how long it was based on the low price. Its a fantastic story with a little bit of everything. We had to use the hint button more than we would have liked to. The graphics were awesome.
We bought this immediately after the trial and am so glad we did! What a great storyline, gorgeous graphics, and the puzzles were challenging as well. We would love to see a sequel, though. We were so disappointed when it ended.

This a awesome game. The graphics are great, the storyline is great. We thought we were finish, and another chapter came up. It was challenging and good twist of puzzles. Please make another one like this. Good Job too everyone who took part in making this game. We got our money worth.
Great, long game; according to the timer at the end, we played for ten hours and 22 minutes! Make sure you check the achievements before you play, a couple are different, such as "pet the goat five times." One thing we loved was that you KEPT a screwdriver for most of the game! Hurray! No having to find multiple ones because for some reason you lost it after using it lol. Nice story, although we still don't get why the elves were after the "treasure" (won't spoil it, but didn't make sense.) The puzzles ranged from simple to moderately difficult. We liked all the bright colors and characters. A really fun, awesome game.
We absolutely cannot stand when games interrupt you during the middle to rate their game. We then give them zeros.
What a great game so far..we're just now going to unlock it…with pleasure. It's great scenery and art , good story.and easy to navigate. We have purchased several games lately that had significant problems. Seems like this one is going to be wonderful…let you know for sure after we're done. So far.
Great game, just what we were looking for. We love fantasy games, which are too far and few between. We just wish there were more like this out there rather than the dark, scary games that seem to dominate this genre.
This is an enjoyable game. It has all the intrigue without intense evil. It has challenging mini games and an interactive map to get you to sites quickly. It also has a strategy help online that takes you step by step for those times we all get lost. We would highly recommend it.

Best one of these we have played in a long while. No hang ups, easy to understand. Great guide when you need it. Game doesn't send you back and forth a huge amount of levels to gather stuff, which is such a waste of time. You do go back and forth, but that is always the way, just not clear from the beginning to the end. Very happy with this.
The artwork is beautiful and charming. The story is sweet. The puzzles are varied and challenging without being abusive. This is really a wonderful game. Plus huge awesome dragons and cute baby dragons… Who doesn't want a dragon friend.
We found this game complex and immersive. We had to work our brain. The lazy part of us thought the mini game instructions too vague, but with lots of trial and error and persistence it paid off. Thanks guys for a wonderful game.
Just finished the game and absolutely loved everything about it. The story is interesting and logical. The progression of the game is logical. The mini games and HOGs are varied enough to keep our interest and not too repetitive. Resolution is good. Loved every minute! PLEASE make more games like this one.

Interesting and innovative hidden objects. Wide variety of puzzles and good navigation through a very long game for the money.
It took us a total of 28 hours to finish the game! The story flowed and made sense, some mini games were easy – some harder, and we totally enjoyed it. No, it's not perfect, but the map made all the back and forth you have to do easy and it lets you know where there are things to do and when a site is finished. With all the crappy games that have been put out lately, this one is a gem.
This is one of the best games around – really.
Beautiful graphics. We are not tired of fairies and elves. We love that the game is not too scary, the scenes are not dark and depressing. The number of HOS scenes are good and there aren't an overwhelming amount of objects in them. The only problem was the toy dragon disappearing on the pedestal in the secret room. The walkthrough just said to use the dragon which we didn't know what that meant when there was nothing there. For people with the same problem- just place the dragon on the pedestal even though there's nothing else there. The toy dragon reappears.

This game is a winner. It's long, fun, and flawless. There are many varied types of HOPs, and there are a few tough mini-games, although most of them were the perfect level of difficulty. We play these games to relax, so we appreciate when we can stay relaxed while solving them. This is a BoomZap game and one of their best.

Wonderful game. The HOs were so interesting. We loved the varity of problem solving Ned to find objects — so different from the usual games. We love the objectives being presented one at a time. The dragon story was interesting and original. Graphics were outstanding.
