What Makes Piloteer Stand Out
In Piloteer, a whimsical and serenely challenging physics-based game about learning to fly, a renowned inventor is determined to overcome the stigma associated with flying a jetpack and convince the world that jetpacks should be revered by all.
Blending elements of both physics and trick-based games, players will need to maneuver their state-of-the-art jetpack through the skies while completing a myriad of increasingly difficult missions to change public perceptions.
Players will find themselves immersed in a wholly integrated physics simulation, making the beautiful world around them feel dynamic, unpredictable, and alive.
Ridiculous failure is imminent in Piloteer, making the accomplishments along the way feel all the more rewarding. Put on your jetpack and take to the skies!

Community Insight:
We only rated it five stars for a higher chance of you noticing, we can't play the game. Whenever we launch it, it just boots us out of the game. Please fix.
Played it years ago when it released and got 100% on everything. Such a special game that sticks with us to this day. The music always makes us emotional. Thank you for this game.
The atmosphere and ambience is just so peaceful. We come back to this game again and again not only because it is fun and satisfying to relearn and achieve in but because we feel at such absolute ease. Highly recommend.
Lovely paper art style with relaxing music backdrop a game where milliseconds make the difference between success and horrible jet pack crash. And you will crash. Repeatedly. Because gravity, momentum, and the frailness of the human body are your greatest adversaries, not to mention the how off-balance you are. The simple two-thumb controls are as intuitive as your pack is unwieldy, and the game pushes you to fly through a series of timed challenges that steadily but fairly increase in difficulty through the campaign. After each failure, you can retry instantly, and the cycle of repeated attempts lulls you into a zen-like state as you slowly improve. This is a game that is difficult to learn and perhaps impossible to master, but easy to keep playing after each failure, because you know you need just one more chance. Or two. Or fifty.
Like most games, you get better the more you play and practice. This is no different. However the beginning is really frustrating and tough to gauge how to even fly at all. If you stick with it, though, its very rewarding and has very attainable missions, and a second, harder game mode that is also super fun once you really know how to maneuver your guy. We played this for about 5 hours over 3 days and beat it 100%. Absolutely recommend.
Great game, the hard missions and challenging controls just make it more addicting. We also love the crayonny graphics. We just wish it had more missions and much larger world.
It seemed like a nice environmental effect when first we noticed the birds. However by the 3rd area there are 10+ birds on screen at any time and colliding with them produces physics so unpredictable you would swear they're procedurally generated. The game comes across as an unholy combination of Lunar Lander and Happy Wheels. Still there's something charming about it we didn't totally hate it. We're still stuck on the very last land on everything mission b/c birds. Update: birds were addressed score upgraded.
We love rag doll and also super hard games. Get it.
We love this app! It is so much fun to play the missions, which are frustrating, but keep you going. We also love how you can swap controls if it is too hard to fly.
There's something about the aesthetics and music in this game that doesn't have any equivalents elsewhere. It's one of two games that we always show to our friends whenever we wanna convey the message that we have peculiar tastes. It's just delightfully different.
The game is hard as anything, but very rewarding when you beat each goal. It's kind of like QWOP with flying. It's great. Play it.
Gets old eventually but a very fun and definitely worth a download.
We had a lot of fun but its a little hard to control but thats it.
Fun, funky, cool game. Interesting to see where this goes.
This game is a challenging, fun game. We love it. The things is we want more characters. Like a person wearing a pony suit would be AWESOME. It would be cool if you added levels to. That's all we want. Besides that plz add more jet packs. Ok we're done.
We try to play this game of our iPad 10.2 inch but it keeps stopping.
Please update for iphone x or posterior.
Its fun but its very hard its a rage game im not ganna lie.
This game isnt necessarily a bad game a like to play it a lot. Its just some things that need fixing, for example the birds in the pier there is way to many birds and the hit your character causing some wierd movements. Also, sometimes the water and above cloud missions will be wierd because we clip the water and clip above the clouds and it wont give us the check. So this game is really good but just need some minor fixes.
Can you remove the restart button you have to press after everything one you crash? Since you crash a lot in this game, it is an unnecessary waste of time and slows things down; instead, just make the pilot stand up again after he crashes.
No longer functions properly on iOS13 with iPhone 11.
The birds! The birds! This game is plenty difficult without the kamikaze birds. By the third area the quarters are pretty tight and the maneuvers are fairly difficult; the birds are a random and unnecessary element to this game. In short: Piloteer is a challenging game with great physics; except the birds.
Game needs to be updated and optimized for iphone X.
We know why stupid game because its too hard to Control.
Bad graphics, terrible game play controls. DELETE.
Could be lots of fun – we've spent hours with this game. Unfortunately, the controls probably match how a real life jet pack would operate. Very difficult and completely unforgiving. Maybe if you could fire the up/down and right left jets individually it might work. As is – we spent 10 minutes on each learning task and every success was complete luck.
This looks like a quirky tongue in cheek take on flying games similar to QWOP. However it feels incredibly frustrating to play and incomplete. There are only two options–fly up and left or down and right, so there's no precision. The game also feels empty and unfinished–there isn't any interaction with the environment or funny animations that could make failing fun. After playing for five minutes we're somehow locked out of the basic missions -the meat of the game-and can't seem to find them. +1 star for the design, concept and having a black female protagonist (nice to see that in a game) Zero stars for gameplay and the actual experience.
When you play for the first time it is a little difficult to get use to the controls, but once you get use to you'll definitely love the game and the challenges!! They are really fun and really addictive.
We want more levels! Please! This game deserves to last more months rather than just weeks. We would play probably 30 mins a day during our lunch break. We have enjoyed how challenging this game can be and we love how developers are listening to the reviews. Thank you for lessening the annoying seagulls. Let's have this game bloom even more by creating more levels and challenges.
Lol we wouldn't yell at you for making too hard of a game at all! It's exciting and pretty intense at the later levels. We'd love to see what comes next.
This game is great for a $1! It's a fun challenge, don't expect to live every time because you won't.
This game is not easy, you will crash over and over and over again. However, the challenges in the game make it fun. We've spent a long time just trying to get one challenge done, but when you do complete it, it's a very satisfying feeling.
We like this game a lot,and that says a lot too. Only suggestion is to maybe add another map ormorespace.
It's such a difficult game but honestly so rewarding after you complete a mission. Definitely recommend.
We played it when it was the free app of the week. We wish it had more levels though.
We played this entire game it was a lot of fun thank you. Played every mission while listening to Logic! #RattPack.
We love the game but the lag can get really annoying. Also the birds are the main problem to the lag so we suggest there should be less birds.
Fun game but a little hard for beginners.Once you get the hang of it it is really fun and easy to control.
There is no tutorial to teach you how to control the pilot.
Don't know why it has so little stars. Great game.
The "physics" is so good it's a bit creepy. Sometimes we just like to get stuck in a tree to see if we can get ourselves back out. Also, seagull poem.
This game is awesome! We know there are some people out there that say that the controls are hard, or that there are too many birds, but we personally think it is fine. Those people who hate the game are rage quitters. They give up, just because they can't beat a level within five tries. We do not recommend this game to people who rage quit a lot. If you don't know what rage quit means, it means pretty much what we just said. It is someone who quits a game because he gets mad from not being able to do something. Now , getting back on topic, this game is sort of a free roam, to an extent. You can go anywhere you want within the given boundaries. There are three maps that you unlock by completing levels. The controls are a bit tricky, but you will get used to them. Pretty much all you do is fly around with your jet pack and complete missions. Apparently your character is a girl but it doesn't make a difference to us. We still love the game. In conclusion, we love this game, and we highly recommend you to get it.
We agree with the other 5 star reviews. Not sure what's up with the hate but this game is very fun. The controls take some getting used to and the graphics are phenomenal.
Why is this game getting so much hate. We had it and played through it and it was amazing. Everyone complaining about the controls just needs to take more time on it and get the hang of it once you do you will have an amazing time doing flips and doing crazy things. Great game.
We like this game. It reminds us of the frustrations of playing old-school games. It's not easy but that's what's appealing, not everything has to be easy to be fun. Cheers.
10/10 it has weird controls and one could even go as far as to say unpredictable making it extremely hard. We love it.
This game is tough. You may see a lot of people complain about the controls, but they are not a problem. Play for about an hour and you will get the hang of them. Soon you will be amazed that you can complete missions you thought were impossible. Our main complaint is that in a game with so many difficult challenges, the physics aren't always consistent. If you need to land on 20 objects in 30 seconds, you need to touch and go. Sometimes the touch will count, sometimes it won't. Other times you will get stuck to the object and blast off in the wrong direction entirely. Very frustrating. The game itself is quite good and was clearly designed to be difficult. The developer should know how many times we've cursed his name while playing this. More content would be great. We're currently at rank Platinum Aviator.
We're stuck on last mission in second area and the birds make it so so hard plz fix them.
The incessant attack from seagulls in the third area leave you feeling cheated by the game. You spend your time in the first two areas mastering flight then it's all for nothing in the third area when Kamikaze seagulls constantly nose dive into you, throwing off your flight path, causing you to crash. Very annoying and contrary to the entire premise of the game, which is mastering flight with a jet pack.
Don't waste your time or money…..deleted after 5 minutes.
