This game is really cool or atleast it was . Now each update requires more and more money in simple words if you want to play and actually have fun be prepared to spend ALOT of money.
You do not have fairness in the system and rules of the game .. There are expensive purchases inside it .. Within two weeks it will be at the lowest prices and a new event will come and it will be very expensive again .. Cok no longer has fun and enjoyment.
People are ruthless and and a lot of racism from Asians.

We do like the game, but its becoming an endless money grab . Every new update you need to spend if your castles under a P5 forget it youre not getting nothing you dont get to do shadow island you dont get to do sea anymore thats not fair. Ive been playing this for six years past couple of years. Its gotten worse and worse about the spending. They have changed some of the research to where it was completely open now has restrictions on it. Being an older player we know what it used to be and now the castle that we were bringing up slowly we cant do the research we used to. Its not fair we Ill give them one thing. And it would be a negative star if we could.

We played this game for years and developed our castle slowly over time. We even spent some money on the game. We had a former alliance mate steal our account and spend a bunch of money on it. We attempted to regain access to our account and support requested the previous three receipts but since the person who had stolen our account had bought items, he had the most recent three receipts. We provided every receipt for every purchase we had made in the game and was told, Sorry, but we need the most recent receipts. So we lost the account. On top of that, the hacker changed the account name to slander our wife (DeborahSweetAss) and changed the profile picture to her Facebook profile picture without her consent. We reported this activity awhile ago and it is yet to be resolved. They just always respond with, we will look into this and then never get back to us. Long story short, this game only cares about money and has no concerns regarding privacy. We would strongly recommend against trying this game.
We played this game for years going from nothing to P6. We spent thousands of dollars only to realize that no matter how much we spent it would never be enough because they (elex) always comes out with new troops, heros, dragons that is like a black hole taking your money. It is like a mirage. Only it becomes a nightmare. They have no 800 number for customer support which conveniently means no recouping lost resources or troops when they are at fault. Before we quit we were hacked by another player who stole a 99.00 dollar worth purchase and 200,00 worth of gold. Its all about money, for Gods sake dont play this game.
If you played classic server back in 2020 and expect it to be the same, your gonna be disappointed. They added a lot of things which you have to spend money to get stronger. There is now a plunder limit based off your castle and VIP level. C16 and VIP6 we couldnt plunder 1m wood from our farm. They added research stones, you can buy them or you can attack a dragon boss for 50 of them, it cost 10 stamina and you can only attack 5 times. Level 1 infantry attack, takes over 1000 research stones to do only to achieve level 4 out of 5. Everything has changed for the worst. They now have badges you have to buy and you can make your troops stronger with it. This game doesnt deserve a star at most.

Ive played this game on and off for a couple years. And every new server we end up in, theres always the Chinese that have to flock to it and use their cheats to get ahead of the curve. The only way you will stand a chance is to pay otherwise you will be smothered like nothing. Im in a new server once again and theres already a p5 and someone with 98mil power. The top players are all Chinese. Crazy how thats always the case. The game is fun, but only if they take out the Chinese from a server. Maybe making us servers where only us players can play against eachother and Chinese serve where they play with eachother aswell. Playing against cheaters and spending your money to try and give you a slight boost is not fair while they loose nothing.
Spent almost $20000 on this game and couldnt log back our old account anymore.

Funny how we see tons of 5 star reviews but if yiu actually read the reviews you will see the reviewer did not rate this game 5 stars but one star. In this game if you dont spend money you will not have any chance to grow with the game giving advantage for money spenders / the developers forgot that ordinary players are the backbones for this game , been playing for over 3 years and quit since their pay to win bounda got TOO OVER.
This game has so many problems. Getting customer service (bot), is a joke. There are better games out there that arent money pitsrun away fast.

This game is fun, yes, but from our experience? Very dangerous, especially since there are 40 year olds playing this, but not just that, theres children playing as well, we were one of them. Im a teen now, but a few years ago we were nine years old and a man asked to see our face. We showed him half our face (we put it as our profile picture for a moment or two) we were nervous but we still did it like an idiot. When we think back on it that man, probably in his 20s or 30s, could have been an online predator. This shouldnt be rated 12 and up it should be rated 17 and up. We highly recommend changing the rating, its not for children its for adults.
This game is designed for you to grow to P6 fast. Youre not supposed to build many troops as theyll just get wiped by the stronger players if youre not careful. YOU CAN STAY SHIELDED 24/7 FOR FREE ONLY IF YOU ARE PLAYING EVERYDAY AND PAYING ATTENTION TO THE GAME. Of course you need to dump money into the game if you want to be good. What game isnt like that. You absolutely have to join an alliance. You need friends in the game. Its most important. So keep your troops low. Stay shielded. Join an alliance and make some friends. Spend a few bucks on the game. Oh. For those whos saying players are using bots. Wrong! Absolutely wrong. Yeah players in China get packages 70% cheaper than others. And others because their dollar is just worth less. But castle bots are gone from the game. Been gone.
When you first start out it seems great. But at some point you realize the game is worthless and you wasted all your time. This is when the following kick in: 1 More powerful enemies will attack and wipe out everything with ease and steal all your resources. (Which is why they attack: you ours for a week they steal it all in seconds). 2 You cannot advance unless you save up enough resources, and once you get past the early levels thinking the game is fun you cannot save up the resources anymore because it takes so many days (which is fine) but in that time youll be robbed of them all and will start back at no resources. Repeat. 3 If you have, say, 100,000 troops and enemy attacks with 100,000 troops but theyre higher level, it would be somewhat ok if they lost half their army to wipe your army out. But youll lose 100,000 and they lose 1,000, which is a joke. And it also means they can do this an unlimited number of times to countless players since theres no penalty. 4 You can protect your base for a time with a shield if you pay $$, and must pay this every few days or week. So clearly the game is designed that unless you pay every week youll be robbed nonstop and never be able to advance. The amount of money youd need to pay a week is like buying a new high quality game every month. NOT worth it. 5 Even if you join an alliance, because of the power difference one person can easily wipe out an entire alliance of dozens of people (see point 3). Except this who pay ridiculous money for a very temporary shield. Once you realize these things you realize you were an idiot to waste your countless days getting to that point.
When you buy Evolution stones to upgrade your weapons the game glitches some times and will take your stones with out upgrading them. And they will not make it right and tell you its the chance you take. If you dont buy you wont become power ful to compete with other players.

This game is only a pay to win, otherwise dont waste your time. Everything in this game has glitches and bugs, its just terrible. Why spend thousands of dollars just to have to deal with all their issues? The customer service is also awful, they wont reimburse anything to you if it was a system error, they just want you to spend more. Youre secretly ranked by how much you spend and those who spend more get even more stuff than those who dont. They constantly add so much new stuff that requires hundreds of dollars to get and if you dont youll fall too far behind, and youll get destroyed. Its no longer fun, and just a huge waste of time.

Clash of Kings is one of the best games ever. We Have been playing for years and we love it.
We have played top of the line games in recent 4-5 years and we switched all games in different time period. Games like clash of empires,war and order,rise of kings, last empire war z , chaos and conquest, rise of empires . This is by far the best game from interference to Operations and details all much focus on . The innovation brought about is just too good . And by far the closest (free to play according to many other games ) although it had few bad habits bring out new stuff very early like twice a month which takes your attainable target to move further 10-20% . The rest is amazing still loving it.
We guess this is a lot better than clash of kings the west. But its still the same concept. If you want to grow fast, you need to pay (if u want to just grow slowly, you dont have to pay, that's why we said its optional). When u pay, next thing you know you have invested a lot on this and then later on, leave the alliance and or uninstall the game. We have played clash of kings and went back and forth on it since 2015. It was cool then. New players and friends around the world. The game is free but its very tempting to buy the packs, boosts and recommendations so beware. If you want a chillax game, this is not good for you. It gets overwhelming once other alliance starts to attack not to mention Kingdom Event(kill event). Other castles from different kingdom will attack you and your alliance. Most of the time the game glitches and freezes. So after you restart and go back to the game, you got attacked already. We hope the developers fix the bugs and glitches. Since this game is an international game, make it work so everyone around the world can enjoy it. Especially the notifications. It keeps saying we have 2 notifications but when we click it, there is nothing to collect. Also the auto translate here is great! We dont have a hard time tapping our screen a lot of times just to translate what our members are saying.
After playing this game for a long time we decided to take a break. Spent over $10k on this dumb game. They took our account away and when we asked to restore it, it was a million types of questions that no one in the right mind would have remembered. We ended up having to delete. DO NOT waste your time or money. These people are scammers and worthless.
Apple, Elex, CoK cannot fix the crossover issues as a collective group, worst gaming crew ever.
We HAVE BEEN PLAYING THE GAME SINCE DAY ONE AND IN ORDER TO GROW YOU HAVE TO HAVE A LOT OF MONEY BECAUSE THE SISTEM LET POWERFUL CASTLES TO DESTROY YOU AND WONT HAVE A CHANCE TO GROW.
Writing another one since they had the last review removed, customer service is basically nonexistent, they dont care about your issues, they reply if they feel like hours or days later. The game is very glitchy, items will disappear without being used and when asked they will ask for screenshots and after you send it they will claim you used the items. You will buy smaller packs and not get the quality of each item they tell you and after sending screenshots theyll tell you you got everything you were supposed to when they know thats not true. There are items you will click to use and they wont work a also the pop up to buy stuff every time you enter your castle is annoying, it makes it impossible to collect event prizes that pop up when you enter your castle because the pack store pops up right afterwards preventing you from being redirected to the rewards. You are better off playing one of the other games that are similar.
They dont care about average players, you get close to decent stats were you can play they add something so you back to to square one.
