Community Insight:
But the cost is a little to much.
Basically Battle Ship Fun for relaxing, not complicated.
It seems though that the AI opponents get a lot of missiles when they win. Overall though, it's the game we remember playing so many years ago with our Dad.
Wish the ships would change color or something when they are sank, so you can keep track better.
Not sure if theres a Game Center issue or something with the game itself. But, when playing a friend via Game Center, and either person receives a text, push or low battery warning during game play, the connection drops and you cannot reconnect without sharing a request to start a new game. But, like the title says, its a fun game when it stays connected. Like the addition of new weapons to a classic game.
Great for a road trip when you're not the one driving.
Computer cheats but still fun to beat it.
Good luck beating the computer.
So it's basically battleship except with some real big gameplay issues. The enemy seems to have an unlimited amount of extra missiles and bonus attacks. Each player should start with $0 and gain a certain amount of money for each attack made and bonus money for landed attacks and big money for sunken ships. Also… When the AI makes a hit, the next attack always lands, BUT! When it's your last ship with a hit or a couple hits, suddenly the AI starts missing. The game has potential, but in its current state it just seems like a freemium money ploy. You get tired of losing and drop cash to secure an extremely unfair advantage against the AI or other players for the win.
You need to spend money to play this game. You purchase special bombs and tools to locate ships. You have no chance against anyone who buys even one of these things. Stupid.
