Could be a five star game with calming background music.
We adore letterpress so we figured we should try another game from the same devs. Really, really fun for those moments when your brain wants to solve a complex spatial puzzle. The higher levels can be really difficult in a good way, getting up to 14×14 square boards, with the light paths moving around corners. The one thing we wish were different – any music or podcast we have playing shuts off when we open the game as its impossible to have audio from another app going while the game is on screen. Other than that, great fun. :).
Its hard to find fun low light games when Im awake at night. This game has a black background, lits of options and skill levels and is free from stressful timers or competition.
Once complete a set a you win pops up and you can not enjoy or see your work ! Not right.
New iPhone 13 pro max. Played a level or 2 then it started crashing. Deleted app and played it only on our iPhone 8+. After some time tried again on 13promax and it worked for a while. Started a new pal and it is crashing again.
Love this game and love the lack of long adds.
Deep into the app in mix and wrap, game becomes bedevilingly complicated and fun. Im utterly baffled by the final piece in the level Im on with no help available. So sadly Ive no choice but to quit using the app. We wish hints, clues, or solutions were available, even for a cost. We miss it.
We really love this game but there are two things that bother us. One, the colors. When our phones brightness is turned down its very difficult to see the blue against the background, and in night mode its impossible to tell the difference between white and yellow. And two, what bothers us most is that recently Ive been getting ads with sound. We play this game at night to help turn off our brain when Im trying to sleep and the sound is not good. When sound is disabled in the app and the ringer is off, it should not make a sound. Huge problem. If you fix these things (especially the second) we will gladly increase our rating to 5 and consider upgrading to premium.
More mix & wrap + insane levels please.
The completed screen should show for a little bit before the next level screen comes on so you can see the whole thing.
Fun game, but am we doing something wrong? Does this not sync between various (iOS) devices.
What a insane way to spend lots of time. We have played and won over 2k games and have met our match on three levels in three different packs..Meaning we have effectively bricked this game from further play. All thats left to say is that is was way fun while it lasted.
You might find at first the game seems trivially easy. However, the larger levels take more thinking. Get into it and then jump packs to the mix levels, where the game really opens up. And when you move to mix and wrap, a lot of the tactics using edges to narrow down the solution stop working, and you really have to start thinking and rethinking your solution. We were going to delete it early on, but puttered with it. Give it a chance to challenge you.
The first time we played this game, it crashed our phone. We were in the middle of the third level, and then the screen went black. After a moment the screen went white with the Apple logo in the middle, and our phone had to restart. It was a short bit of fun. We hope this issue gets fixed so that we can play it again.
This is a fun and addictive game, however we went back to the main menu to check a color combination only to find out it didnt save all our progress. We had gotten halfway through the mid levels. Very disappointing! Also, once each level is completed a completed level pop up appears that doesnt allow you to view the results of your final winning move. Annoying. Moving on to something else as we have no interest in replaying lower levels or trying to figure out where we left off.
This is an excellent variation on the shading/pathing sub-types of Nikoli-style puzzles. Anyone that enjoys Nurikabe, Nurimeizu, or Akari puzzles will have a fun time with this. The interface is clean and intuitive and the puzzles are fun.
Try it out! To the game makers: only improvement would be to not cover the board the moment we solve the puzzle- better to let us see it with a smaller play again.
This game is tough at first but once you get it it is a ton of fun.
This game is sooo addicting! With the immense amount of levels and crazy colors, we can never seem to stop playing.
Awesome little puzzle game when you need something to pass a few minutes. 5-stars for the game. Played for about 20 minutes and lost 10% of our battery life. Our iPhone 7 got noticeably warm. We dont even lose 10% watching a 20 minute YouTube video over LTE. 1-star for being simple yet massively draining on battery. (Battery life in settings is 95%) No way Ill pay $4.99 just to see if its the ad mechanism that is draining the battery or not. $1.99? Maybe… But never $4.99.
We turn the gray connectors so they are touching the pink ones, and yet the bulb does not light up. What am we missing here.
This app is tons of fun to play.
