Community Insight:
The trading card aspect of these games is incredibly complex and interesting, we find more fun and interest in just playing games, we never see a reason to manipulate them for social change naturally, but can see how theyll forcible manipulate us into thinking or doing otherwise, great ons Great games translate to better help and humans.
Overall its ah great strategy game Needs an update on more scenarios and should make it easier to get coins and gain money each turn.
Does not work to turn off music and sfx and its very loud. Please fix. Also the governor doesnt seem to do anything.
This game is really hard at first but gets easier as you get used to it. The card action is amazing and the graphics are good but its hard to get money without watching hours of ads.
We wasnt to fond of the card games but we will admit they have grown on us a lot, this is a enormous improvement from dictator 1.
We wanted a simple yet very strategic game to pass the time at work. We actually downloaded Dictator 2 first but after being confused on how the game works, we downloaded our Majesty which is a lot more simple and thats where we learned how to play. Both games are great and we have no problem paying to remove ads for such works of art.
We really like this game. Its fun to make decisions, prepare an army, and conquer lands with card strategy. However we have one complaint. We think its annoying how after every turn we lose money. Im aware its a game feature and not a bug, but we dont see its reason to exist at all. Obviously its supposed to make the game more challenging, but we find ourselves frustrated when Im doing well and suddenly our people start a revolution. If this feature was taken out of the game, Id give it five stars.
It will not let us buy anything.
The cash collector thing use to work just fine, but a couple years ago we paid the extra $1 for no ads and now it never accumulates anything, we have to just sit there and keep clicking it if we want anything so we dont play much anymore.
Why cant we turn off the music and sfx? We know the buttons are there, but when we tap them, nothing happens. Everything keeps playing.
The concept and graphics are great, but this game is way harder than the first one.
The game is great overall, Id just like it if there werent ads every two turns in game.
5 stars if we could turn off the gosh darn music, and if these ads werent so darn invasive. Literally those two things are stealing your stars.
First an ad after almost every decision is a money grab at the expense of the audience. The decision also sometimes make no sense on its affect on the factions. You lose way to much money easily and barely gain any. This game is trying hard to make you lose thats theirs entirely no real gratification in winning. Fun at first but completely lose interest by your 5th time playing.
We DONT NEED TO JUST AUTOMATICALLY LOOSE 100k EVERY TIME we HAVE A TURN.
So idk how to reach the dev support group but we payed 5 bucks for the no ads plus 500 coins. All we got was like the no ads but instead of 500 coins we got 400,000.
Very fun game with a great theme. We deleted after 20 minutes out of frustration due to the overwhelming number of ads. Every 2 clicks there was an ad. Offer a paid version, reduce the ads for the free version, or both.
Every other action in game is followed by a paid advertisement, talk about dictator.
The game was fun and we really liked it but we lost interest because of the constant ads.
Its a fantastic game but you literally cannot go a single minute without ads. Every 2nd decision you make, you need to watch an ad. We were a massive fan of the first game and this one is great but we cant deal with these ads. Genuinely one of the worst Ive seen. If it was every 5 decisions, Id be fine.
Game crashes when you move around the screen. Lost 1 week of progress.
The decisions you make dont make any sense, why does it have to negatively effect something even if it doesnt effect them. Its just not realistic and annoys us to not have enough of anything to do anything.
This game was cool before the pop up ads smh.
There are way too many ads constantly popping up, responses that dont even make sense, and generally just too much going on. Terrible game.
Why cant we choose the language inside this game? Said Chinese supported but there aint any of it.
The first dictators was normal but this is hard also it was totally way worse than the first game also it ruined the consept we like the old one way better.
Had bodyguards and died to an assassination anyway. Nice.
This game is AMAZING, but once we get to the spot that it says lets take this card and put in our deck or something like that it wont let us drag it. Soooo.
Good premise and well executed, we love games that mix risk and management… Ads are really intrusive though, you can run into one every few minutes. We hope the developer adjusts this but we doubt it. Still five star because its a good game for free and we aint spoiled.
Like the game gotta think about your actions or it could turn the tables but one thing we didnt like when we were first starting off it was going fine but you know when you put a team/group into prison/labor well when we were going to invade a country we had to pick a fighter thingy but it was from the group that was in prison so it didnt work it but yea thats all.
The game is splendid, with interesting questions, large consequences, and fun mechanics; the only problem is the frequent rate of crashing.
Everything is almost great in this game, forced ads really devalue the game itself and isnt much frequently updated much. Set aside those problems, the game is great.
We think there should be less of you cant please both sides and more you should think of how it effects each faction. We combat isnt to well explained and confusing and that could be reworked, love the game though great job.
This game looks great. We have played a little to test it out. The full screen pop up ads are TERRIBLE. We decided to try to pay to remove them. How? We cant find out how to pay the $.99 IAP to remove the ads. We click restore purchase to see if its hiding there, but that just crashes the app. We honesty cant tell if the app is fantastic or a waste at this point. What gives.
This used to be one of the best stupid games in history, but you have just make lose interest because of ads and your never-ending ambition. You got your 2 stars.
This game looks like a lot of fun, but the writing is god awful. Please fix the grammar.
It was nearly such a good game until you had to make it that they revolt if they like you so much. Doesnt make sense at all.
There ads every turn, rendering the game completely unplayable. Too bad, as its a great game.
Amazing how we wrote a detailed review about how this game has ZERO SUPPORT. We paid and now it wont restore our app purchases to the game! It wil just crash! There is zero customer support! Total money grab! The game will crash constantly, and we are out our purchase money! Total scam game! Beware.
Dont ask us for 100 gold coins and say you are going to give us 1.000.000 dollars and only give us 500 k.
Cool concept with the first game however its much harder than the first. We dont see the appeal of having it be so difficult to raise your nations factions to gold and hold it consistently like the first game. Its annoying. Not to mention that every time you make a decision after choosing what faction to have appear before you, plays an ad that you cant skip and then having it play again afterwards. It takes around 10 seconds. There are much better options out there on the App Store and even on other platforms that dont play as many annoying ads. They actually provide a chance to win, and dont have you questioning if it was worth playing. This game is another pay to win game like the millions of others out there. Why support this lazy and obvious cash grab that forces players to pay real currency to prolong the inevitable failure of your rule. The intent of the developers is to have your dictatorship toppled or fail in someway in order for them to have you spend your real money in order to not lose your progress and be toppled. Forget this game and the developers, they are just as bad as EA games. Btw this game deserves 1/2 of 5 stars but we cant rate it lower than 1.
We hate the battle aspect, it feels very arbitrary and one-sided, even when youre defending. All of our cards are terrible, while the enemy have fantastic cards that are completely ridiculous when it comes to price for purchasing them. The game feels pay2win.
Ad every 2 turns, enemies always have cards you will never have because they are paid, also having completely broken stats and abilities.
We purchased an in-app purchase, got charged and didnt even get what we paid for! We want a refund or get what we want! This is total BS!!! And yes, we did push on restore purchase.
Way too many ads. EVERY SINGLE TURN we GET ONE THAT OPENS SAFARI, AND SENDS ME TO THE APP STORE! HOW CAN we PLAY A GAME THAT KICKS ME OUT.
We hate when games don't put a difficulty level on their game whats the point of that we cant get passed Tarzania and the dictator has 8 cards all of them have 5+ health while ours only have 3 and he has op cards we dont have anything its the start of the game why do you make it so hard smh.
Every single person was white… Except for the mafia, where everyone was black. No exceptions, other than people who the mafia would have kidnapped, who were white.
Its doesnt let u revolve forces you to spend irl money do not download.
The game was fun, but when we went to buy more funds, the money was withdrawn from our bank account but the app didnt process it properly and didnt give us coins. It continuously bugs as if it cant process the commands its given. Its fun to play, but we wouldnt recommend purchasing anything in the app. We would like our money back.
Owned and played the game for years. Beat the missions and owned all territories on the main campaign. Loved every minute of it. Sure there were bugs, but once you figure out how to work around them, everything works fine. New update rolls out. Bug fixes. Cool. New logo, new terms and conditions. Cool. After playing 2 turns on the main campaign, we get a forced advertisement. Not cool. One of the things we really liked about the old game was that the ads were never forced. You watch them when you want to get specific bonuses. Now that Im going to have yet another game decide to treat its users like cash cows instead of actual people (forced ads versus using optional rewards), Im going to be uninstalling, and encourage others to do the same until something changes. If the devs want to ad adverts to the game, at the very least, dont put it in a bug fixes patch. We would have been at least a little forgiving if that were the case. Guess not, since greed won again.
