Another great hidden object game. We have not experienced any glitches or problems.
Nothing like a bonfire to warm a dark night! Eipix has this little jewel, Burning Coast, where an apparent rivalry between chemists has caused one person to commit arson and infect a whole town with a bacterial infection. You were sent as a nurse to aid the female physician, Doctor Griffin. However, the assailant kills her, leaving you to help the Sheriff get the patients and healthy residents to safety. Games are fun and interesting. You are collecting glass snow globes in each scene. We enjoy the variety of locations (seaport, doctor's office, town square, steamboat, etc.) If you do not want to play Hidden Object games, there is a Match 3 alternative. A good Map with action indicators helps to speed your progress. Good Hint, Skip, and Information buttons. Buy this one before it turns to ashes.
A nice, intricate game which holds our interest. The only improvement would be for the developers to allow the hint and skip to charge in 1 to 5 seconds. We dislike mini-games and find it frustrating to have to wait. We feel it should be up to consumer to set the times for their personal preference.
So far, no glitches and the story line is interesting. We havent gotten that far into the game yet, but we like it. We may update our review later. Update: we found one thing that we dont like – if you forget to get an item that you need to move forward in the game, you cant go back to get it. We had to delete the game and start over again. We think you be able to go back in the game for an item that you missed without having to start over again.
This was a fun game with no glitches. But we wonder who puts it together and whether they have read any history books or even fashions through the ages. One character had a hairstyle from the 1700s while most period clothes were the 1800s. But the American flag had all 50 stars on it and that didnt happen until the 1900s. Please get a good editor before launching something that is embarrassing in its ignorance of the times.
It's sensitive when it comes to touching objects. Sometimes in the HO games we know we found the object but couldn't pick it up. We'd either have to tap it a bunch of times or use the hint button then it would work. Some thing with using objects. You gotta place it just right. Other than that it's really well done and we highly recommend it.
This game has been a dichotomy to us. This game, (even on beginner level) are very difficult. With the missing object games, we found that when we picked the correct item (to find) our choice is wrong, then when we hit skip itll go to that item as the correct choice. This happened MANY times. We buy these games for the hidden object element promised. There needs to be more of them within the game and less jumping around from one scene to another. Im not a fan of this jumping from one scene to another to the point of being total confused of where you are. And, as a woman, we find the fix the machinery scenes intolerable. Often found in these Big Fish games. Im playing this game again with hopes that Ive grown a smarter brain. Maybe we can pick up clearer hints on where to go next to proceed through this game.
5 stars for smooth gameplay, pleasing graphics, and a fun array of mini games, several which were new to us and not a variance of games seen before in so many other HOAs. Especially enjoyed the checkers, flotsam, and starfish-in-the-gears games. We're still chuckling at the minds who imagined those! Funny, guys :) we replayed them thrice. No glitches found here. *Update: 8/17/18 Still very playable. Map wasn't much use, but all the rest was dandy. Souvenirs were clever… Kept us smiling. Enjoyed the 2nd time around :).
Too many glitches and very frustrating when choosing objects in the HO games. Could have been a pretty good game.
The story is pretty good, flow of game good. The puzzles are ridiculously easy though and it can be very very frustrating with picking up ho things. Also trouble getting objects in your inventory to work. Be sure to try 3-4-5 times, yeah not fun. If those were better id give a sure 4.
Not enough areas to search. Story line could be a little more interesting.
Many of the puzzles were simply not fun or didnt work. More often than not we just skipped them. We love puzzles that make sense and can be completed in a reasonable amount of time but most of the ones in here did not meet that goal for us. Consequently we were disappointed in this game.
Use items where they are suppose to be, but they dont register.
We can't quite figure this game out. We're pretty much wandering around looking for things to do. And when we DO find things, there are glitches. We used the harpoon where we thought we should and got the message that it was wrong. Hmm. So, we hit the hint, which told us to use it exactly where we WAS trying it and getting the error message! Do, we've just started and we're not impressed.
The map and other icons just randomly stop reappearing then start appearing again and the game just literally stopped functioning halfway through. Had to reinstall. Start all over. Ruins the experience.
We purchased this game. We are looking at our receipt. Since this was re-released it says we did not purchase…. BF would have gotten more money from us had we not kept our receipt…this is a BIG SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Be aware and save your receipts.
