The best mobile game we've played in our life.
Ill be honest we're usually not that into games like this and yeah some people get pissy about the fact that to get anywhere fast ya need money but in all honesty we quite enjoy the game it's challenging as hell and quite fun we atleast check it daily on our end so even though we don't play everyday we can stil lacrue the stuff we would normally need to pay money for, all in all it could definetly be worse when it comes to micro transactions so we give it a solid 4.5.
So we had everything going well. No crash, etc.. But now we cannot play the game cause its say's needs an update and we cannot do it.
It's very fun ^^ and good game we give it rate 9.4-10 Try it.
We just want to play the game ;-;.
The game is fun and is able to be played without purchasing anything but since apple removed Game Center which was our only form of logging in we are no longer able to play.
Let us start by saying one amazing fact about this game, you can eventually get everything in the game and even become a top 25 player in your server without spending a dime. There aren't even advertisements anywhere in the game. That doesn't stop it from being insanely pay to win. The majority of the content is single player, so that's not really a huge issue, but progress is slow. REALLY slow. And even slower if you plan on spending nothing. However it's easily worth trying, and honestly it's fun enough to justify spending $5-20 bucks on depending on how much you make or how much you love it. Remember guys, games don't develop themselves. Pay for things you enjoy or the p2w trend will only get even worse.
It won't let us Rison rank because of the goddamn timer. If we're not allowed to control the guys there shouldn't be a timer restricting how fast it can be completed three out of five times today we lost just because the timer ran out. Of course it's gonna take us longer when it's it's 2 on 1 and they're only slightly worse than us but we were winning until the timer ran out.
So ok first off we've been playing this game for a while and it's fun we like the combat, no other game has fighting mechanics like this it's usually just tap the screen three time to perform a combo, so we do like the fighting, but we don't like the fact that hazama is locked up by having to pay for diamonds, as one of our favorite characters on the game we can't play with him because we have to spend like 40$ like omg the game costs like 11$ on PS3 we might as well buy the game if we want to play as hazama, and we're saving money. Now our next complaint omg please fix ranked matches the concept is so stupid. Ok in ranked matches like why do we only have 44 seconds not 45, not 50, not even a minute(60 seconds) all the other game modes you play all have 99 seconds, why does rank match have the most oddest time in the game, and ok we know people are gonna say that's just so it can be fair yea we love games that play fair even having the computer fight the fight when we're to lazy to is not a big problem, but when those computers are so dumb that they pull off a whole combo and swings at nothing but the air, and waste 10 seconds swinging at nothing, now great our computer now has 34 seconds to fight but wait the other guys computer is just flying all over the place and our computer Keeps missing the guy over and over, and now we only have 14 seconds and his health is not even halfway gone like OMG, but you would think ok our computers health is higher than our opponents health, ok so by the law of all fighting games around the world when the timer hits 0 whoever has the highest health is suppose to win right???? Nope you lose automatically even if ur computer needs one hit oh well your computer was busy swinging at nothing for 15 seconds, and we hate the time limited stuff like online co-op or reality fight. Ok we're not tryna bash the game we have respect for this game we love the fighting but the flaws always outweigh the positives we just want the game to improve we're still gonna play it but we just wish they would improve the game, it's fun but it's not worthy of 4 or 5 stars, and the alliance wars omg the alliance wars at least make the alliance fight a 1v1 or take off the burst system in there because if you beating up on one computer the other guy just uses his burst to knock you back and then if your character isn't strong enough he gets stuck in the corner getting beat up by the computer, this game is so unbalanced, please improve on your game because it's not a finished product.
The ranking duel is so bad why can't we win when we HAVE 2 OF MY HEROES AGAINST 1 MORE HERO THAT we TOOK DOWN ITS PARTNER BUT WHEN THE TIME RUNS OUT we LOOSE THE FIGHT WHEN we SHOULD HAVE WON YALL NEED TO FIX THAT BECAUSE ITS NOT FAIR AT ALL.
THE Shittiest app designed for those with deep pocket. Absolutely no attention to those who don't. Online competition is totally destroyed by VIP. Shittiest server for Real time battle. Two words: totally garbage. Stay away if you can. Don't be like those people who pay then later quit the game because you will only feed more money as you progress.
We really like this game, but thanks to apple getting rid of the Game Center app, we can no longer log in. Is there a way to save our accounts that we used Game Center to access.
Very fun game with plenty to do for the first few days. The biggest issue that people will find very fast is the VIP system. It makes the game a pay to win or spend endless hours going nowhere fast. To get some of the characters, you have to pay upwards of $40. To get the to VIP level of 15, you will spent over $2,000!!!! You have to be VIP3 minimum to compete anyway. The biggest issue this causes is in the alliance wars. No balance at all. You will be put against other alliances that are stacked with pay to win players over and over again. Unless you want to dump an endless amount of money into a mobile game, this game is not for you. Just incase you are wondering, players who don't want to spend anything will fall behind by tens of thousands of power in a matter of days.
We are a huge Blazblue fan, however we discovered after they had added Hakumen (our favorite character) and when we finally had enough diamonds to purchase him, that he was locked behind a pay wall!!!! We could not purchase him because we needed to raise our VIP status, and the only way to do that was to purchase in-game currency with real money!!! Crap, crap, crap!! Never playing a f2p game again.

This is one of the few games we honestly would recommend to our friends. It's so enjoyable to play. We admit the lack of hero draft orders is a bit annoying at times, but it's a very good game to download. We support it fully.

Blazblue is an awesome series we love it and this game is pretty fun, but really? You can only get Hazama, one of the best characters, by buying diamonds? Seriously?! And not to mention in ranking duel it's on auto fight and it's only 45 seconds, we could've won about like 100 battles if it wasn't for the time and/or the auto fight. The time isn't only on ranking duel either, make the time ALOT longer. Again we love the Blazblue series but we don't believe that we should have problems fighting time and credit card warriors all at the same time. Please fix this problem.
First of all this is a good and fun game to play. There is a good cast of characters to play even if 1 is behind a pay wall (Hazama). There are also more characters are being added into the cast. The single player story missions can be one or a mix of challenging, annoying, or fun. There are more modes are unlocked as you play the game. Unfortunately, online play is kind of a wash. Half good with no issues and half with constant lag and crashes. Crashing is SUPER frustrating since the better rewards are obtained from the online matches in which you play with/against another player (co-op, rank challenge, guild battle, ect.). When you crash in these matches the game considers it a loss even if you have just won your mission and crash right after. It's still a good game that plays well with the touch pad, but the online portion of the game can cause some real headaches.
As others have said, you can only get certain fighters through VIP even though you've saved a lot of diamonds for that specific fighter. This makes the game unfair for everyone who doesn't pay because they can't get that extra fighter to boost their total battle power. If you fix this part then the game would be a lot better and more fair to every player. Another problem we have with this game is the auto and ranking duel. The fighters are horrible when doing auto, they do random combos and moves when they're not even hitting the target, and this causes most of our own battles to lose especially in ranking duel. Please make the auto smarter. Also, ranking duel is totally rigged. Sometimes we would fight an opponent and we have a higher battle power than them, but somehow they defeat us. Even though we have half health left, the game seems to take away most of that health, not by the enemy attacking but by losing a chunk of health for no reason. We've lost a lot of battles that we could have won because of this reason and the auto-ing. Overall we really like this game, but it is kind of hard to progress in the rankings and the story mode without being VIP.
We love the game, and it's addicting as hell. The ONLY THING we hate is Noel's auto battle during the ranking duel. She takes too long cause she just jumps around doing her air combo, and she's nowhere near the enemy. It wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a 45 sec time limit. Could you make it a 60 sec time limit? Or configure her auto battle style and make her battle smarter.
The game is good but you need to increase the ranking duels time. We ask that because everytime im about to win a ranking duel we run out of time (especially with tager). Increase the time by at least 10 or 20 seconds.
We liked playing this game every day and we enjoyed it a lot. But we had blaz blue connected to Game Center and we had to change accounts for a moment. When we changed back everything we worked so hard for was gone. Why.
'Raid x5 can only be unlocked if you purchase VIP01.' 'Purchase for Hazama will be unlocked if you purchase VIP06.' The Hazama part irks us the most. We've saved all our diamonds from the start of the game for Hazama. And It's torturing us on how we can't purchase him, when we have nearly 3000 diamond. We're not a die hard fan of the "Blazblue" series, but we're sure even they aren't willing to purchase that many diamonds for the sake of unlocking a very powerful character. We fear the future fighters will also be unlocked only by VIP, which would be so annoying. Other than that, we see a few minor problems that can be helped with maintenance. We're only taking one star away because of the VIP. The game itself is a very well made one. A great beat-'em-up. And it's pretty rare to find one of these games with lovable characters in the mix. Whether you are focusing on the VIP or not, RR is still a great game we will keep on our phone for as long as our storage can.
The characters have the time don't respond to have the things we do in the game like in training. With bang on the last practice he wants to do his own stuff and it makes us angry. Another thing is that we have to be VIP level 6 to get Hazama or any other VIP level to buy any of the characters. Really. You guys are real greedy and that's not cool. Can you please take the VIP ranking off for buying other characters.
We saved our diamonds just for Jin Kisaragi and it's annoying how we have to be a lvl 2 VIP which means we can't even have him. Please remove the VIP requirements for all character purchase.
We were collecting diamonds to buy Hazama and when we got enough diamonds we found out that we have to have VIP 6 which costs about 20 dollars.
Too expensive. The game is fun, but it's a rip off. We already put $16 dollars in the game and it didn't get us far. We will NOT spend anymore until the game is fixed. The game isn't that great to charge so much. (Update) As we have played the game more we think it has the worse pay to play practices we have ever seen in a game. Very shameful and greedy practices.
The game's "random matching" isn't even fair and will almost always match you up with someone higher and stronger than you. Screw this game.
Got a beat em up with your usual mobile game furnishings added in Stop calling it a fighting game, theres no equal pvp as in its all gear based, no resets, no mind games no qualities reminiscent of a fighter. Theres nothing but mash mash mash to get gear to mash mash mash some more. Get a new character and your mashes look a lil different thats all. Shame.
This game is a ton of fun and it's extremely addicting. The only problem is we feel like some levels are too easy. We're currently in chapter three, and the levels are a breeze. The only challenge us elite mode. But it's still amazing and we would totally recommend downloading it.
The game is pretty great considering that the game is easy to play and that you can do a lot when you're just starting the game. The big issues in this game is the paid premium character and the unbalance in AI. Either your AI or the enemy's AI become incompetent during a game When reporting an issue, the group was able to fix it within an hour.
Out of all the super smash bros copy's this one is the best. Perfectly paced.
The game is fun, we enjoy playing it a lot, been grinding for equipment or upgrade materials, we just want to know when will you be adding Tao as a playable character? We love her and was disappointed to see one of the most iconic characters in the game not be playable yet, we mean don't get us wrong platinum is cool but she's/he's a character no one really cares about. And as for Hazama, really the only way to get him is to be a high VIP rank that requires us to dish out more than $100?? Look we like the game but not that much, we could use that money on something more productive, plus half the time people hack the game anyways and get him for free because we find it hard to believe someone dishes that much money out for that one character.
When we block people,it's only for a hour..can you change it so you can permaban people? Please fix this.

Blazblue is a great game but we've been saving up gems for one of the characters just to realize we need vip6 to buy him it's already hard enough to get the gems but you have to make us pay around 40-50 dollars too just for one character. If you didn't need a vip level to buy people this would be our favorite game.
Haven't spent a dime and still managed to unlock 4 characters and progress really far. The only way you'd really spend money is if you're impatient anime trash. Grab your pillow girlfriends and complain to them. This game also gets a bonus star from us because we love trolling those feeble minded weebs. We basically feed off their tears. It's pretty great. 10/10 would make an anime kid rage quit again. Update: the fanbase for this game ruined it for us. It's just a bunch of horny, socially awkward weebs. There needs to be an option to disable the chat before we hang ourselves out of pure second hand embarrassment. We hate all these kids. God needs to wipe them all out of existence.
We're at 90k power on this game. We've been playing for a while and although it may seem repetitive, there's always something different to do. There are plenty of ranking systems to feel a sense of competition and a lot of players to play against. It's pretty good on wallet warriors. You can get gems for free everyday but it will be slower for a free user than a paying user (obviously) but you can get everything for free on this game with enough time.
Game is a great way to waste time. Don't have to spend to much time on it to keep up with others and easy to get the hang of.
This has by far been one of our favorite games and now to have it in a mobile game! This is just awesome and we can't put it down.
We are such a huge fan of Blazblue! We've really been enjoying the games a lot. Although we did thought you could play as your favorite character in this game. Also, we tried looking for Platinum the Trinity because she's our favorite character, but we didn't see her in the character selection screen. We want to play as her but we can't yet because it says coming soon, we mean you can't see the characters in this slot where they should be but it says coming soon. But overall, we love this game! Love it.

We see you cry babies complaining so much on the game. So what if you have to spend a couple hundred dollars or a thousand to play is it that hard to do???. The world we live in revolves around money the quicker you realize it the better. So cry babies please grow up and stop with all the whining it's getting monotonous.

We've always loved BlazBlue and Guilty Gear and this is the perfect mobile addition. The controls are spot on and the graphics are lovely.
Very thorough game with lots to do and many opportunities to do well without having to pay. It's not entirely reasonable to expect a game this intuitive and robust to be able to operate completely without payments, so the pay structure is justified. You don't really need to pay for anything to enjoy the game. The artwork is absolutely beautiful and the control scheme is surprisingly intuitive for a fighting game. 5 stars, RELEASE MORE CHARACTERS SOON.
Truly love the game but please lower the prices of diamonds just by a little bit! Or give some more bonus diamonds when purchasing! It can get very expensive very fast.
So, yes, there's a paywall of sorts, but only one character is truly unavailable unless you pay. For us, not spending a dime is fine. The combat is super fun and the characters are varied. They will absolutely expand their roster in the future and this game will get better, but as it stands now, the excellent gameplay can carry it.
