Community Insight:

This game is SO amazing we love it and we were so sad when it told us that we were finished we were so sad but we still liked it from the beginning.

Loved this entire series, but dont be fooled when they say you can play them forever. You cant. There are 3 others Ive paid for and enjoyed and can no longer access. Pretend you can play them for a short time.

Ravenhurst games are our favorite to play. This one doesnt disappoint.

Hi all. We just love, love, love, did we mention that we love these games! May we get some new ones please.

Still playing, but we are really loving this game so far. One of the best story lines, by far.

Im really enjoying this game to pass the time while Im in the hospital (COVID and PANCREATITIS). Thanks for the game.

We absolutely love this game. It was well worth it! Scenes are wonderful.

This game was very well done. The graphics were beautiful, the puzzle difficulty was just right, instructions were clear, and it was easy to navigate with the map. We had many hours of fun, and will play more of these games.

An old game but a great game. Puzzles very challenging. Long game.

Great game to play during October.

Atmospheric, creepy and good puzzles.

Loved the many fun puzzles, artwork, and story line. Near perfect. Only had one glitch and wasnt able to finish a complex puzzle in last chapter. Great game.

The reason a joined Big Fish over 10 years ago was because of these games . Just a intriguing story. The puzzles keep you guessing. Its hard to see that Big Fish doesnt make their new games for we Pads. We just play games over and over again . Patiently waiting until they give us an actual new release.

Getting us through a long boring night at work.

We havent played these games in such a long time and it was so much fun getting to play them again.

Haven't played a game this good in ages. The RavenHearst series is always delightful to play. The HOS are unique and thoughtful. Mini games in the HOS makes them fun. We usually don't like to spend 6.99 for a game, but if we must this is the one. We're still playing the game and it's been 2 days. We need more quality games like this one. Keep up the good work. But for us retired people put them on sale more often.

This game is very original games within games.

Love the story line and the graphics. Puzzlers are perfect.

We love this game and mystery case files; we've played them all.

We really enjoy playing this game. Im on our second round now. We have purchased the game; we are wanting to get the guide and every time we get the same message, that we cant get it to try again later. Ive tried numerous times on various days and still cant gain access to it. We gave it a four star rating for this reason.

The Ravenhearst games are all wonderful every few ones incorporating new things. Our all time fave is the first all HOP one, for nostalgia. We played it so often we had a ball zipping through it.

We really liked this game and we thought that the free opening chapter was challenging. However, when we went to unlock the rest, the price was $6.99! Sorry, but thats just too much for an iOS game.

We truly enjoyed enjoyed this game! Some of the best gameplay yet BUT ….we WOULD CAUTION PARENTS THAT THIS GAME WAS VERY SADISTIC IN SOME WAYS AND NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN IN THE FORMATIVE YEARS.

Game was a lot of fun to play. Good story line and the puzzles are very interesting. Recommend this.

Wish you guys would update ALL the MCF Raven Hearst games to be compatible with IOS 11.

We enjoy the MCF games and especially the ones involving Ravenherst. We have never had a game the was so glitchy we could not get to the end but this one hung up for us twice at the second multipart puzzle. We were very disappointed in this and we are hoping this will be fixed in a future update.

The graphics are nice but small! We have good eyesight but struggled to read or find items! That was a real disappointment! The puzzles were boring and made little sense.. Glitches, so many glitches. Had to reset the puzzles or it would pick an item we didnt touch. We have an iPhone 11 so that shouldnt be a problem! Maybe spend more time making sure glitches are not an issue and write a better story line! That would be nice.. And please make the words bigger so people can read them! Our 25 year old could hardly read it, others couldnt read it so its definitely not a us problem.

Been waiting a long time for this (hopefully the last) one! Played them all! Few screw ups with the game tho, glad we only paid $2.99! Had to install and uninstall this game THREE times! It started in different places in the game until finally it worked! On the big games (with many parts) they never worked right! The last one was entirely screwed up! BIG FISH, we do not expect this from your games. You need to play it yourselves and see if these problems happen to you! Really was discouraging because we couldnt focus nor enjoy the game properly. Havent played your games in awhile, and we sure hope this isnt indicative of all your new games! If you can get this for $2.99, great! But dont waste your money if its $6.99 please.

For the most part this game was fun, but it lacked in cleverness and there wasn't any rhyme or reason why we were collecting items to open something to find an amulet to open another thing. Also, we were unable to finish because the piece we needed to get out of the last disappeared into the screen and we were stuck. We wish we could get our money back.

This game was very irritating to us because half the time you had to tap repeatedly on an item for it to work. We had to check the guide often and at times, when we would tap the guide it would take us to another location instead of to the guide. We still dont understand what the heck this game is all about! Collecting the lighthouses, we think, is about the only thing we liked about the game. This is an update: we just completed this game and we did not expect it to end this way. Im sorry but we cant see what is so great about this game.

It seems like there's absolutely no sound other than the music and cut scenes!! We're super bummed bc we've waited for a cool asylum game to come on sale forever but you guys day it yourself.. The sound is really important. And it's even worse bc the game seems really fun and cool!! And well made:( ugh it's getting late and we can't decide to buy the full one or not but if it's not fixed it's not worth it… EDIT: we took our chances without any reviews, and it paid off! If you liked it as much as us go to the app store and but the full version. It's also on sale when this is but no trial. SOUND ACTUALLY WORKS.

We miss the old Big Fish games and would gladly pay $6.99 or more to play one again. The graphics and music were stupendous. The new developers games seem even older, with stilted figures and immature and similar plots. With the growth of technology after all these years, we would expect at least the same quality as BF games made over 15 years ago.

Loved the game up until the priest terrace. Made it all the way through the game and wont let us get past this scene. IM NOT STARTING OVER. Too bad a paid money for the unlocking.

Not impressed. Lack of instructions. All scenes very dark for hops. Story line is boring.

There are so many puzzles in the game that simply arent hidden object games. Many didnt work, locked up, or we simply could not get to work. We loved these games when they were new but not so much anymore. Didnt even finish the bonus game, just deleted the whole thing.

This is a typical Adventure "Puzzle" game from Big Fish: lots of Hidden Object Scenes (HOS) which aren't true puzzles because the player is doing random searching instead of figuring out how and why something works; collecting inventory items and then searching for the proper spot to place them; a few recycled puzzle types or activities such as tangrams, untangling strings, repeat the sequence, sliding picture puzzles, etc.; and the occasional mini-game that was so poorly designed that a Skip button became an industry standard addition. Most other puzzles can be "solved" with a few seconds of random tapping. The graphics are blurry and dimly-lit which is unconscionable in a game that is mostly HOS with target objects made ridiculously small and often hidden behind other objects; it's especially bad when the game adds insult to injury by penalizing for random tapping. The voice acting is poor. The characters are either bland or overblown stereotypes, and the story is so uninspired that it is no hardship to stop playing on reaching the end of the demo portion. The locations tend to be bleak and ugly and filled with horrific imagery. We have no phobias for spiders or rodents or skeletons, but pretty, colorful settings are depressingly rare in these games. We have reached the point where we are no longer willing to spend more than a dollar on a Big Fish title unless it was made by BoomZap or has bright, pretty graphics like those in Flights of Fancy: Two Doves, and even BoomZap's games have many of the flaws in the average Big Fish adventure title, but at least BoomZap's games aren't full of withered bodies making screaming death grimaces, filth-encrusted tools and furnishings, and insane asylums. The fact that this one review can be fairly applied to the bulk of Big Fish's line-up of fantasy adventure games should give their customers pause. We have found free Room Escape games made years ago that provide superior gameplay to most of Big Fish's current offerings. And because Big Fish never reduces their prices to a dollar and BoomZap is being forced to churn out casino games (as if there were really an appreciable difference between one casino game and another), we're no longer buying Big Fish games even though fantasy adventure games are our favorite type and Big Fish is about the only company releasing any.

We won't get any more of this series. Although the graphics are great, we cannot tolerate something with all the torture and gore that's in this. It made us sick to our stomach.

Very disappointed only played a few days then the game was done. We wanted more searching and less puzzles.

The game is great but now 2 years after purchasing suddenly cant unlock the full game. Same with other Big Fish games. Their support tried to help but couldnt. Apparently there is either a time limit or number of plays limit.

Ive tried this game twice now. Deleted, updated and reloaded. Theres a scene (four knives crossed that you are supposed to remove) that wont acknowledge your touch. And, yes, we checked the step-by-step tutorial to make sure we wasnt missing something. Had to abandon the game. Very disappointed as we loved the earlier installments.

Got to the Well of Souls and could go no further- game froze.

We love MCF Games; however, the problems that we had with the first part of this game we star have it with this game too. This is NOT a mobile game, this is a PC game exported literally as it is for mobile. But you may ask whats the problem with that? The problem is the touchscreen. If you have big fingers like us you will understand how uncomfortable is trying to press elements so tiny on the screen that even their hit box collapses. They didnt adjust the game for mobile devices, nor adding any zoom in/out function when elements are to small on the screen, neither add any move control where the mouse was good on a PC but not and a mobile device. At the moment of writing this comment we still at the beginning of this game and we already found part that really frustrated us.

Once again we purchased this game awhile back but they say there is no record of it. This is a common problem and we have no intention of spending $6.95 to reload.

Im stuck trying to fix the mask and Im not getting any thing. James78258 has the same issue. Please fix.

Buggy…..got to the face mask super puzzle and at the end one the parts would not complete. Only option would be to create a new profile and restart the entire game with no guarantee that you would have better luck the next time. Best pass on this one until the bugs are fixed.

We don't like creepy scenes. And all the scenes here are creepy. We didn't like the puzzles. We found that figuring out what to do next was impossible. Even the HO scene was odd. Soooooo, we don't even want to THINK about this game, let alone buy it.

We paid already but it said we did not. Thanks for nothing. Would like a refund.
