Community Insight:

And also the 3$ to skip the delays. Reminded us of those choose your own adventure books from back in the day.

The game and story are amazing. Characters like Lizzy Malcolm and Ryan are all amazing characters. The choices feel like they matter. High recommend it to anyone interested in getting the game.

We wish it was longer and the choices you made had a bigger effect. The story had typos and one part of the story with Russians never came back to bite us.

Im not really into reading but when our son recommended this game we caught ourselves reading more and more. This story just pulls us in and Im addicted. We feel as there are some gaps that should be filled (no spoilers). None the less Im going back as being bad to see how the story changes haha.

We love how gritty it is and how many times you can get hurt and keep going. And all the enemies feel original. And yeah the wait in between chapters is annoying but keeps you from reading all day. We did play the sequel and we enjoyed it although it seemed a little too different from the first, but interesting nonetheless.

The author put so much work into everything! Ivan felt like he would fit in the far cry universe with his evil yet charming personality. All the characters were well thought out and we had difficulty choosing between Bradley and Abbie for our best friend. Over all, we felt like we were in the game. We have really bad ADHD and havent been able to focus on reading for a long time. This broke that cycle.

We wish there was a save option on the story, so when you die, you save back instead of having to play the story all over again, it can get really frustrating. Other than that, its a really good game.

If you like choice games this is a good one,it has a high replay value and doesnt stall or boot you out like a lot of phone games.

Used to play this game a while back in our last relationship.. It was definitely an amazing read and Im gonna have a blast re-reading this awesome title youve shared with us.

The story is quite engaging a well crafted. We felt that the choices were a bit underwhelming and predictable, as in you didnt have much control over the character, and theyre are virtually no meaningful stats, however, the author more than makes up for it with the story telling, and the characters fairly interesting as well. 9/10 would recommend. Plus it is free.

We really enjoyed this game/story/app, the wait between chapters wasnt too bad and you have to make a bunch of momentous decisions early in the game. And some really tough decisions later on! Looking forward to completing it and experiencing different endings.

This game is the best you choose game we have played yet. We love this games but you have to buy the next part its really cheap we wish it was free.

This game is amazing, one of the best decision based games Ive played since the walking dead telltale games. Just dont pay for the time skipping. 5/5 amazing.

We did not expect to love this story and the characters as much as we did would recommend to anyone.

Well all we could say is this game/story was just wonderful we enjoy every lil bit of it to be honest we try being the nice kid that our soul so desires put failed we turn out to kill mostly everyone put good old well you Know who we are talking about if you played the story. We ruled together and we Concord who ever put tho we felt like crap after we enjoyed all the other endings as well. Thank you for this wonderful storyline.

Great story, hard choices. The wait between chapters is a bit irritating, but ultimately a great alternative to buying them. And if you really just cant convince yourself to wait, the price per chapter isnt bad. There was clearly a lot of work put into the story and we appreciate every page of it.

We absolutely love this game because it made us feel regret sadness and happiness because of the choices we chose. We highly recommend this amazing game.

We loved it. The story was great as well as the characters. We accidentally turned ourselves into a dictator the first time. Well anyway we recommend this game to anyone that likes choices and good story.

The storyline is intriguing with heart-racing moments. It makes up for the fact that you dont get to make as many choices as we would like.

THEY NEED TO MAKE A SECOND PART TO THIS STORY.

We love the story so much if you havent gotten Doomsday on Demand we highly recommend getting it 20/10.

Its a great story we havent gotten into it that much but we would really like it if there could be a choice of your gender like Im a girl obsessed with these kind of stories really the only ones we can read but when it comes to choices we wish we could be a girl Bc then we could really feel like we were part of the story.

Easily one of the best story/text based games on mobile with an intriguing story, world, and characters but we only have one issue with it; has a lot of ads compared to other games like it in its genre. We just hope they update it sometime to reduce the amount of ads but other than that the game is really good and is definitely worth a try Id say.

Worth a couple play-throughs, but most choices do not seem to affect story and it seems like the last chapter is missing it jumps to an abrupt ending.

There are a lot of issues with it but it is very interesting and immersive. Our biggest complaint is the language is extreme considering the scenarios its used in and that the rating doesnt even mention it, and we do realize this isnt an issue for most people. The biggest issue with gameplay is the choices are usually VERY limited ex: your slave master boss orders you to execute his second in command in the middle of the following night or he will kill you or your friends. At that point your character is a damaged twelve year old so unless your playing an evil path you should have an option to improvise a solution like killing the slaver boss instead. Another example of that is two of your scavenger allies begin to fight each other both having reasonable goals, but you have to kill one of them and cant just incapacitate the hostile one. But other then like probably ten choices in the whole game you dont seem to impact the story.

Sounds like Ive read this somewhere else. Characters are stereotypical and flat. Typos typos everywhere, and a lot to spare. Story is convoluted, and doesnt make sense most times. Dont pay for this.

This game was fun we had a fun time playing this game but it has bad grammar it was fun though.

This game is amazing we like the story and everything.

Simple yet incredibly entertaining.

This was our first Hosted Game we read/played it awhile back and just reread it, we still love it.

We love how it give the choice of what to do we give it a more realistic feeling there should be more games like this.

We thoroughly enjoyed reading this! We plan on reading it again to see what different choices could lead to.

Wow had us excited through the whole time we loved it it's 3 in the mourning right now and we chose Lizzy over our friend. Great game man we don't ever take time to rate or comment but we had to say wow.

We thought it would be very boring but it was actually really cool and fun.

The waiting between chapters is kinda annoying but easily fixed with an in-app purchase, and the game is well worth it! You get game-changing choices early on, which is great because it really adds to the replay value. You can tell the writer tries very hard to take your wounds into consideration, even if that fails sometimes (we mean, we pretty much lost our arm and was only mildly inconvenienced by it, even if we got a reminder about it every night). There were only two things we didn't like: first of all, the apocalypse was obviously not thought about – "Don't ask us how, but those bombs were different" might be in character but it was really unsatisfying as the only explanation we got about how the city became like that. We hoped we'd get a better explanation from the scientists, but even getting the Lizzie ending we had no interaction with them – although we'll later try to save the other guy and see if that changes Lizzie's ending, but we doubt it will. The second thing we didn't like is something all games by Choice of Games have in common: their GameCenter features weren't updated to work with iOS 10, meaning we can't actually see the achievements we won (or which are left). We hope that gets changed soon.

Enjoyable and made us think, replay value too.

We…we dont know what to say it was amazing we told our friends about it and they said they loved it to,can their be another part to this we would even buy it if we had to because this made it into our list of top 3 games Iv ever played we just really like all the hard decisions it reminds us of ourselves a lot and we just love this game.

Awesome game besides grammar issues but there should be more the ending we had wasn't really th best so make another or exsend this one and fix the grammar and other stuff thx.

Great story play. Needs a sequel.

We love the story and hopefully there will be a sequel.

This was seriously he best game we've ever played. It messed with us and made us think. These led to us connecting to the characters and made it emotional which we've never felt with any other game. This is truly amazing. Please make more games like doomsday on demand because it was the best in our opinion.

We like the way this game brings you in and makes you hate and love other characters and the choices are so harsh, we love it! The only thing we wish is that you could be older like 18 or 16 cause some times we wonder what would happen if you was a bit stronger than others, ether way we love this game and that's the only suggestion we have so yeah we'll keep playing it till we run out of endings.

This game is just absolutely amazing. A must play.

We really enjoyed the world that was created for this story. Although a few gripes we had were: seemingly one dimensional characters, cliche scenarios, grammar errors, and repetitive use of words or phrasing. Also, certain endings felt like they were rushed. If you can overlook those things then you'll have a great time! It really is worth checking out.

We thought this would be the next burnt. Our expectations were low for this. But this game exceeded them and more. We can't say we're not disappointed. Allow us to get to the meat and bones of this game. The story is original at times, and cliched at others. The villain kinda acts like your usual wasteland raider but can be interesting, well thought out, and even funny. There are flashes of creativity throughout the game. It's a real shame that they decide to play it safe, and go with the bland apocalypse storytelling most of the time. They did put some of that creativity into their characters however. Most of the characters are interesting and grew to care for them a lot. They had their own goals and back stories. The villain is perfect for playing either the good guy or the bad guy. If you're good, you'll hate him just right, and if you're bad, you'll enjoy him quite a bit. And with these band of merry characters, it's makes it such a tense time when its comes to the choices. Some of the choices don't make a real big difference, but there are some that had us tense up. This was where the game caught us off guard. When we didn't think the game would actually do it, it did. We were shocked with some of them. The ending are cut off really abruptly, however, and it's sad to see more moments like those go to waste. The real highlight of the game are the choices of course, and where we make our biggest point. We got a lot of flashbacks to zombie exodus while playing this game. However, we think the sequel (if they plan on making one) can be much better than that and possibly one of COG's best games. They would need a better stats menu, more of this creativity, and better characters. Not that the characters were bad, we really liked them and grew quite fond of them. Choices pertaining to these characters are the tensest moments in this game. It's where we find ourselves worrying over the consequences, immensely. Better characters make a much a heavier impact, that's all we're saying. The ending could use a lot of work too. That's all we have to say about this game, and we enjoyed ourselves a lot while. We have high hopes for a better sequel.

  1. There are very few "choices in the game". At most u make like 12 decisions throughout the course of the story. Mostly it's an interactive book, and not much of a game. 2. Most decisions come down to "this flavor or this flavor". Ur choices kinda feel inconsequential. Otherwise p good game. We enjoyed the world a lot.

So, This is not a bad story, just a little average, and we still enjoy it However, it is no longer a secure platform, twice now Ive been hit with the Virus scam Pop Up after the adds kept playing over and over. We know development on this is probably done, but we just want to bring this up.

Reads like it was written by Melania Trump, with the same odd grammatical errors occurring over and over. Game world is tedious, characters are annoying, outlook is unremittingly grim. Only plus is that its free.

We really wouldn't mind the waiting between chapters and the ads if the grammar wasn't so BAD and repetitive. Heck, we'd probably even pay the $2.99 to get rid of the ads and wait times if it weren't for the grammar. It really seemed like no one proofread this before putting it in the App Store. Drinking game: Every time you see, "You gulped a big one." or saw an extra word in a sentence that doesn't fit or a typo, drink.

If you can get past the terrible grammar (seriously, out of the thousands of words in this story, 75% of it is grammatically incorrect, or repetitive), and the strange imagery that may stem from said grammar, it's an okay story. On top of the grammar issue, it starts to show some other problems later in the game. Like ripping off TellTales Walking Dead game. All the way down to having one of the final choices in the game to be an EXACT copy of a choice in Season 2(?). But it's probably the only half-decent post-"nuclear" apocalypse choose your own adventure game you'll find. For free that is.
