Its a fun game but there is a good amount of ads.
Ive been playing this game for ten years and the 3.0 update actually destroyed it. The purple block/black number is so low-contrast you cant read it, and now for some reason when you have a block near the bottom the whole screen starts flashing red?? Why?? Both distracting and annoying. No way to disable any of it either. Genuinely irritated.
Been playing this game for yEARS now and we owned ALL the skins but the recent update simplified the game so much and all the skins we owned are gone. Still in our top 3 games its the only game ive consistently played since ive HAD a phone just dont like the minimalist route and not honoring the fact we already owned all the skins /: also wish there was more things to use ur coins on bc we have close to 15k coins and nothing to use em on.
Just wondering, if it says you can knock out 3 rows by watching an ad does that mean watching three sets of ads and then it starts from the beginning on zero? Isnt that actually lying? Its happened several times so Im guessing its not a fluke thing. How about this, how about you be straight about everything and try one ad per ad showing? You will be a very rare type of people, because we all know everyone lies and we mean everyone. Its so tiring and frustrating. Stand out amongst the crowd.
We've been playing this game everyday for years, however, recently since updating to iOS 26 we've noticed incredible lag and glitching. Fix please.

Ive cycled through a lot of phone games in our life, and none of them are quite like Ballz. You see, most games take a lot of brain power and energy and critical thinking. But Ballz is nice and simple, and allows us to multitask. When Im listening to a lecture in school, on a boring zoom call, or anything of that sort, we can whip out Ballz and still be able to pay attention to the other task. If we play clash royale or something, theres just no way we can still pay attention. The beauty of this game is in its simplicity, and its short game rounds. Each round only takes like 10-45 seconds (depending on how far you are), which means that you dont have to worry about having 10 minutes on your hands in order to play. Also it requires strategy without requiring lots of skill. We mean the only controls are pull back and release! Yet you need to learn all of the angles and tactics in order to become a pro ball shooter. Overall, we would give this game 10/5 stars if we could. Not because its the most complicated, riveting game ever, but because of the exact opposite. This game saved our grades, and it saved our life.
Minor adjustments to firing angle can change the outcome greatly. Please add an overlay grid prior to firing that allows you to aim the balls and anticipate the angle of travel. New colors are too dim over 1000 balls. Dark purple on black doesnt show up well. White numbers would help. Pausing does not pause – it resets if you switch to another app and switch back. This is an intermittent issue.
You NEED TO MOVE THE RESTART BUTTON. It took weeks to get to 4137 balls and we hit the restart button by accident. Infuriating. We deleted the game. Does not work with new iOS updates Since the new update, its too dark. Who thought purple on black would be easy to see.
Bought the no ads pack back in may, the only one available at the time for us. Quit the game for a few months and got back into it. Ads are everywhere where in the game again and Im not paying 5$ to remove ads again WHEN we ALREADY PAID FOR IT.
Poorly maintained, ads are not working. Previous version wasnt as consistent but now 100% of the time if you up to watch an ad for a free bonus life it never works the app either has to be forced closed because its stuck or the only option is to start a new game because the ad never gives you the credit and breaks the apps functionality. Highly recommend Apple review this code if its just an error we stand by our poorly maintained comment. If this is not an error this is an obvious scam to make extra ad revenue or to get users to pay for your extra lives.
Whats upon a time this game was very good and very addictive, That is until we decided to pay for The game and take it out op but like we said we paid for it and blew it.
The principles and function of the games are on par with expectation. Our only poor takeaway is the copious amounts of ads, which we know is to make the company money but theres a line between okay and too many.
Fun game to pass the time particularly if youre waiting for something. Mechanics are simple but can still be a challenge. We love the latest updates with the glow on the last line (Ive messed up so many times in the past not realizing a square was on the last line) and the way the squares pop when youve cleared them. This made a great game even greater.
This is the most therapeutic game on the App Store.

Love the game, been playing for years. Soon long in fact that Im over 20000 and still going. But for some reason, we dont find ourselves ranked anywhere, which is perplexing.
We have the version that requires ads, and it seems like it cant load ads so is unplayable, please fix. EDIT: Fixed! Thank you. Four stars because pressing the speed up button more than once should keep increasing speed, but excellent game. Current streak is over 11k so the turns take a long time, but this game is perfect to unwind.
This game would be a lot more fun if you werent forced to watch so many ads! Its actually quite ridiculous because it happens just about every 60 seconds.
We got this today and we already love it and we got introduced to it by our dad and we are a kid and our dad approved the request for the game and Im 8 years old. Thats all Im saying.
This is one of our favorite games on our phone, but for some reason, our no ads purchase reset back to having ads when we bought it months ago.

We love this game! Very addictive and comforting. A minor fix and it would be perfect – no ads. If Im a sucker who pays $2.99 to not see ads, why are there still ads? We feel like that was a recent change, we dont recall seeing as many before, and certainly not the one thats always at the bottom of the screen. Fix that and you get five stars.

Ive muted the apps sound in settings, but it still interrupts our music constantly. We dont understand why that would be, and we dont know how to stop it from happening. We can only put up with swiping down and pressing play to resume our music for so long before we give up and either stop playing music or stop playing the game.
Theres definitely a learning curve, but once you get it you get it.
We wouldve given this game five stars until recently. And we wouldnt have rated it without taking to an admin if it was an option. We couldnt figure out a way to give feedback besides writing a review. We love playing this game while listening to podcasts (our favorite hobby) because it doesnt take too much mental focus to play and we can really listen to a pod AND play well at the same time. Now they have ads running in the bottom of the screen that cut out the sound from whatever Im listening to. SO ANNOYING! We close it out but the ads pop back up within less than a minute. We know we can pay for an ad-free experience but we refuse. We dont mind ads at the beginning/between games, but to have them interrupting our podcasts constantly.NOPE! Ill just play something else. If they dont fix the interruptions we wont play anymore. Otherwise this game is awesome. If you like to play in silence, this is for you.
We purchased Ad free a few years ago. It said it was a one time purchase. Now, ads are on the game even tho we paid for ad free. Please correct this or we will delete the game.
Theres no reason for the ribbon adds that occur while playing to pause music and often time glitch it so that you cannot even restart it. ESPECIALLY when the ads dont even play sound.
We have had this game for YEARSSS and we love it, but we paid for no-ads several years ago and today we are seeing ads. What is this about? And when will you all fix this? We dont want to delete it but we refuse to pay again when the first time we paid promised a lifetime of no-ads.

This was our favorite game, and we spent far too much time on it. Now Im about to delete it. The latest update has infested it with ads, and the banner adds along the bottom cause the game to lag. Pretty much unplayable now.
Too many balls in play and the app freezes. You lose all progess.
We like to watch YouTube and listen to things while we play games. The ads in this game make playback stop; even when you pay to get rid of ads. Pathetic. Fix it. The ads dont even have sounds.
Great to mindlessly play while listening to music or podcast, but there is a bug that causes our audio to stop every 10 seconds. Please fix this bug.

Ive been playing this game for a LONG time and our current game is creeping up on 7000. Obviously we still enjoy the game but even when we press the fast forward feature takes forever to complete the round. A having the fast forward button actually speed up the game this deep into the game would be an incredible quality of life feature.
This game is great for our work ethic and makes us think. We hope you make more levels because this is amazing. We absolutely love this game.
We have been playing Balls for years. Still one of our favorite games.
Its so much fun a little challenging, but it gives you a great brain workout and you have to use all these different types of strategies so either way youre learning its so much fun and you should totally download it. We can still remember the first day we got it remembered our high score being too, but by the end of the month, our high score was 50. Its so much fun.
This game has provided so much comfort to us- calms us down when we need it.
