Community Insight:

So interesting we loved the owls , keep up coming of another owl adventures. Thank you.

We love the art in this one especially. Theres practically three games in the main storyline, plus the other TWO bonus games! There were three times when we thought the game was over, but nope! We wish there were more than two of reflections of life.

The graphics are good the sound is clear. The puzzles are not too difficult.

Very long game. Great colorful graphics, interesting story line and just enough HO games. Some of the puzzles could have had better information but overall there was a good variety. Some we've never seen and we play a lot of these games. Getting ready to start bonus game. It will be interesting to see how the story goes.

We really enjoyed this game. The HOP were not that enjoyable, but it we were allowed to roam the whole game looking for the hidden leaves! That made up for it! Well worth the cost….nice and long.

An old game but a great one! We havent played one as good as this one in a long time…..wish there were more great ones out there.

  • Loved the graphics and the owls (our fave bird!) were not only beautiful but also plentiful! The story was good, the HOs reasonable. All in all, very enjoyable.

Just the right balance of engaging and relaxing.

We loved it. HOPs were great, loved finding leaves most puzzles were easy until the last few. Never crashed on our iPhone 7. Lots of stuff to gather and many areas to investigate. You can revisit all areas too.

This game has been so much fun to play. We love that we dont need to use the help button very often. Its 5:00am. Totally addictive.

Enjoy playing this game. Surprised it had 3 parts.

Great art. We love to look for morphing objects and other objects unexpected in Addition to the norm in the game. Cudos.

Well worth the price. Enjoyed finding the leaves in every new area. 3 different levels of play.

We play a lot of HO's, and really enjoyed this better than most. Range of games & challenges was great. The storyline, to us, was the best, cuz it wasn't focused on evil like most of these games. Although it still has an evil plot, it has more of a mystical theme that wasn't quite so heavy. We keep waiting for someone to get smart and start making adventure HO's rather than the constant theme of evil and crazies. It's getting REALLY old. We also loved the variety of animal friends & helpers in this one. Wish they had even gone further with that. It made it even more thrilling. We stopped two other HO's after starting this one, cuz we were bored out of our mind until we started this one, then played this straight through beginning to end. Well done! Please do more non-evil adventures with critters.

We love this game. Well worth the money. Not too short like a lot of others. HO are not easy which make it a challenge. Highly recommend.

This was a very long game and we felt that it was worth the purchase. Interesting puzzles and the story line was not that awful. Graphics great. We like all games to be this detailed.

We absolutely loved this hidden object game. So challenging and full of unexpected features.

It's been awhile since we've played a fantastic game such as this. Graphics and storyline was spot on. Games was ok, maybe change up some of the hidden word games but overall what an enjoyable and awesome game! The bar has been risen for all other gamers out there to step up. Love all the extras.

We are dumbfounded by the negative reviews for this game. Gameplay was seamless, the storyline was engaging, and the graphics were beautiful. We were immersed in the game from beginning to end. The HOP were primarily word lists with some plus-items, but there were a wide variety of mini games ranging from easy to moderately challenging. The map enables teleportation and tells you where to find active tasks. Nothing about this game screamed "old" to us, other than the inability to customize all aspects of difficulty. And wow, was there a lot of game. In each intricately designed scene, there were five to seven interactions to uncover and solve. The lengthy bonus chapter had a plot that logically flowed from the main game. There are also leaves hidden throughout the game — collect them all, and you are given a jigsaw puzzle that opens up yet another (brief) chapter. (To clarify from earlier reviews, leaves do not morph, they are just hard to spot.) our sole complaint was the out-of-tune flute tone recurring in the soundtrack throughout the latter part of the game and the bonus chapter. A fairly minor complaint, but it got on our nerves! 4.5, rounding up to 5 to counter reviews that we believe may have been written by folks who didn't play the entire game. And a P.S. To "forebitten fruit" — we also missed a leaf. If you click on the "empty" spot on the collectible tree, you will be transported to the scene that still has a leaf to find.

Liked it even tho we felt we ran back and forth a lot. Good length. Like that it was not creepy.

Really enjoyed playing this game! (Almost) took our mind off of our illness! It has a great plot, beautiful, vivid graphics, and the story line was exciting! They did a really good job with this one. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this game. We don't understand why it got some negative reviews. Game play was smooth. It had a good mix of games and hops. It was a refreshing change from the dark graveyard games.

This was a good game. It was hours of fun. Lasted longer than a lot of the games.

We personally think this is hands down the best game we have played. Every aspect was excellent. We are not new at this and have probably played over 1000 games. Been with Big Fish since they began. This game has fantastic graphics, not short at all and though we are not one to give a lot of thought to storyline, even that was very good. We can't wait to play another. Just excellent.

Great game. Especially enjoy the counters for hidden leaves on each page. Makes it much better to make sure we have located all of them.

Don't understand all the bad reviews. Interesting story. Nice mix of hops and mini games. Beautiful graphics. We enjoyed playing.

We enjoyed it. It's worth playing despite minor glitches – multiple taps required to get the hint and to do a few other things.

Great game, but when you replay it does not give you the owl to help you. Please fix this issue. It would be nice to play it again without having to delete it and reinstall it.

The scenes are very beautiful. The hidden objects are well thought out. The mini games could use a bit more description. A couple of times we couldnt figure out what was wanted so we had to skip the games. We play games to pass the time so we really dislike having to skip games.

We liked the length but as others have written, some of the game directions were confusing. We agree that some of the HO games were also unclear in their two-step solutions. For the most part this was quite challenging with enough simple tasks to balance out the complexity.

If you are looking for a HO Adventure that is really long – epic we would say – then look no further. Yes, it is all about finding objects that need other objects to be opened or manipulated, so we would not say that it was particularly creative for game play. – But we thought it was fun that you had to find 4 leaves in each new scene – and also, if you skipped finding the leaves there was an easy way in the end to teleport to those scenes where you still had to find some. All in all we would recommend it for many hours of gameplay.

Love the game…the story line…characters, graphics…however…it's a little annoying at times…. Here goes: You have to push things more than once a lot. Some of the puzzles at the end of sections were very confusing to even try to do….we were so irritated that we just skipped a few of them. The pieces don't move smoothly and there wasn't enough instructions on what to do. It seemed like some of them had hardly any instruction and we couldn't identify the pattern. We're playing to have fun and we like a little challenge but it's a good thing it has a skip button for those because if it didn't we never would have finished the game!…lol… All in all… LOVE the game…it has many sections so it's kind of long… And we absolutely ADORE all the owls! Many of our favorite things were in this game. We'll have to play it again.

You get you moneys worth with this one. Its the game that never ends.

Lovely game, interesting concept, teleportation etc. Story is interesting and a little mysterious. We do like looking for the hidden leaves. Some of the puzzles are lacking in accurate directions on what is required of you to complete them successfully the first time. We had to feel our way around in several which became frustrating. We hate hitting the hint button. We don't mind challenges but we do mind vague directions. The teleportation on the map is nice but in the second "room/world" we began having problems and it did not work for half of the rooms. The problem has continued on into the third room. We have a new iPad Pro. We don't think that it's the problem. Also, when working some of the hidden object games, some movement is sluggish. As in combining objects to get the hidden target piece. We're not finished yet and don't usually review until complete but we are starting to get frustrated. The graphics are so pretty we were hoping to be able to ignore the game glitches and poor directions.

Had a problem the first time we played this game. Left in it our cloud for awhile. Sooo happy it worked properly this time around. Classic good game. Not a big fan of collecting extra 'things'(in this game it's leaves),but,we enjoyed it because it gave us a chance to look more closely at the art, which is fantastic.

This game is great if you want a long game. We thought it was confusing in story line and seemed to jump around. We couldn't always follow it, so used the hints a lot.

First, this is a great game. Tough, but solvable puzzles and long, at least 12 hours on casual won't lots of hints. However, the touch sensitivity was weak, slow and sometimes frustrating. We doubt it's our iPhone 7+ either.

Good game but tiny writing. And the final bonus game we are unable to open. We found all the leaves. How can we open the bonus game.

Good Game. If you bought it on sale then its worth $. There are 2 additional games after finishing the first. A little glitchy in the cave with boat. Select the map and should take you out of the scene. Otherwise very creative and imaginative.

Like others said, game has an outdated feel to it. Also it was not very responsive to touch on iphone, and hints were sometimes inaccurate. Still worth a try though since there were no major glitches and game length was impressive when you include the bonus chapters.

Very sad we made it all the way to the second bonus and now it is stuck we are missing a flower and we don't know who to contact.

But many of the graphics and morphing objects were microscopic on iPhone 5.

Too small. Boring and too short.

We enjoyed this game but many times when we hit the hint button, we would go there but there was nothing to do. If we hit the hit again we would be told to exit from that area. This was frustrating, the hint should not send you to an area that does not have anything to do. Other than this we really liked the game.

We want to start off by saying, we had this game when it first came out. We usually buy the games regardless. We usually don't play the free version because we've always encountered issues when purchasing the full version. We deleted this because we made room for another BF game we really wanted to play that was super high on memory, so today's review is based on game play after we re-downloaded it yesterday. This game is an OLD game.. Came out in 2014 on the PC/Mac version. It's only "New" to the iOS Apple platform! We would say, IF your bored enough, then get the game but ON SALE! Don't pay $6.99 for this game! It's a $2.99 -$3.99 game! When we started the game, we encountered a glitch almost right away. After we helped our owl buddy and went into the realm of other mirrors, you have 4 leafs to find in almost each scene and as a we did that, the mirror on the left, we were immediately able to go into that realm when it wasn't part of the game yet. We wasn't suppose to be able to go into that realm until later. We couldn't go back, so we had to erase our progress and start all over. That wasn't a big deal because we were at the beginning of the game. There were a few other minor glitches but we were able to progress. Still, a game should be free of any glitches when it reaches us, the gamers! You have these VERY transparent leafs to collect in each scene, but it doesn't start until you get into the first realm. These are hard to find sometimes!! Story so far ( we're not even halfway through) Is okay but nothing original to us. Your an orphan and thought your parents were dead until your uncle and his owl come through a mirror in your room and says they game you up to protect you from evil. The time has come now for you to save your parents and their realm from these weird looking minions. Your uncles owl is going to help you get things high up, where you can't reach. There is a map, and some sort of video journal which is good. And if you collect all the 176 leafs you'll be able to get into the 3'd bonus game. There are 2 bonus games attached to this game. Thus far, which we're not even half way into the game, we gave it a 3. The glitch at the beginning and a few throughout the first part has brought the game down for us. We'll update again when we're done with the entire game. Until then our friends. Thank you all for your honest reviews! Thank you DTE Please Spay,Neuter, & Microchip your pets! You never know when they'll get lost.

Fun to play. Some of the games were a little hard to understand and get started. Instructions could be clearer.

We buy all of the HO games that Big Fish offers. This one crashes at getting the gear on the bird house shouts down when you try to GE the screwdriver from the bar at the bottom. Please fix.

Plus: very long game play, interactive map, no loading between scenes, decent story. We like the owls. Minus: Tiny wording on iPhone, esp the HOS. Many tedious mini-puzzles, often with unclear instructions. We wound up skipping a lot of these. The whole collect-the-leaves thing to unlock a hidden game was fine with us, we got all the leaves except for ONE, which it wouldn't register our pressing on it because the leaf was situated practically on top of the left-side scroll-out bar. That was annoying because it was the bar for the leaf count, so instead of registering the one last leaf, the bar kept opening instead. Felt like it was laughing at us! Oh well.

The storyline is ok. The graphics are fine, but nothing special. Our two pet peeves about this game are that you often have to click things twice or more for it to take, and some of the mini games were way too easy, and a couple were impossible. Also, in the HO scenes, about half of the items either are hidden inside something, or you have to put one item with another. This is ok if these things make sense, but in a lot of these, you'd have to do something like put a crystal rock inside a lantern which then made a blue light appear that then turns a butterfly blue. We find that random stuff like that is just frustrating and not really fun. We'd rather have it be something logical that you can figure out without a bunch of random clicking.

We really like the story line and loved the hidden leaf bonus story however it was extremely frustrating to have to spend extra time trying to get recognition on items we click on. Needs an update.
