Community Insight:

This has been a real challenge for us. The concept and story are very good and games are fun.

This is one of the most changeling games Ive played in a long time! Love it.

This was superb on every level. Had none of the problems suggested here in reviews. Love it.

We have played a lot of this game type. The creators of this should be proud. The puzzles are rather simple, very nice HO scenes and the problem solving is great. It is a very long game and havent completed it yet. Been playing for days. Thank you.

Wish every game was more like this one.

Hidden objects, morphing objects, puzzle pieces, great story, from easy to insane, and a long game to boot. This game has it all.

Wow….this is a great game! We are having a great time solving the puzzles! Thank you.

The red buttons wont slide to choose how many are on key page.

We found the puzzles in this game too complex. We couldn't figure out what we were supposed to do. The first such puzzle was the clock. We couldn't figure out what we were supposed to do. There were others just as confusing to us. Maybe we were just tired, but we really didn't care to figure them out. So, we'll pass on this game. The beast has won.

Don't get us wrong, we love our challenges… But this game maybe took it to a new level. Along with missing the bright, beautiful graphics that we can normally enjoy in an Eipix game, we found that much of the game was quite difficult. We found ourselves using the map more for looking to see where we needed to do something, rather than just jumping somewhere quicker. Also, we applaud the variance in the HOPs, but it was too hard to see some of the clues on the iPhone, and as a result we even had to use some hints As some other reviewers stated, there is the positioning of the two fighters in the one part of the castle where the hint is a separate part to click on in the room. We had not gotten to that point yet, and it took us awhile to get them positioned right. Then we click on the next part of the room and……….. There they were! Grrr lol. The storyline was good, the credits hilarious as usual. Thou that hath maketh this game hath true creativeness but pusheth it too far.

Note to Izzyoc: we took your advice, but we couldn't figure out how to email Elefun directly, so we emailed and complained to BigFish. We also suggested in our Witches' Legacy review that all reviewers flood BigFish with complaints. If not we need to boycott their next game, because we will never effectuate positive change if we keep paying for games that don't have all the features we expect at this point in time! NOBODY THOUGHT IT WOULD BE NICE TO MENTION THE BOAT FILLED WITH RATS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! This game was an anomaly. It had quite a few great features, yet it was ruined somewhat by others. You could customize settings. The game was lengthy with bonus adventure. There was variation in the HO scenes, as well as multi-tiered HO puzzles. You could elect to play the skipping stones game if you preferred. There was a good variety of puzzles, and the alchemy dust had its own mini-game. Inventory was labeled and interactive and there were complex items to assemble. As per EIPIX, inventory usage was unusual. There were lots of puzzles (for example, the knight figurines) and codes to solve. You had to collect alchemical pieces of animals, but you got a surprise from them at the end of the game. On the other hand, once again there was no journal, although objectives were regularly updated. The teleport map was labeled, but it was glitchy and it was a nightmare to use. We did the same as KimTwilight, using the central square as a reference point. Loading was not instantaneous between locations. The graphics were not as sharp and crisp as we would have liked and there was a marked pixilation in them. Our actual review is 3.5 stars. Note to EIPIX and BigFish: you are getting a lot of complaints regarding the knight figurines. You did provide a clue, but it couldn't be copied, and it couldn't be skipped. We worked on it patiently until we had it right, but newer gamers would not be able to complete this puzzle and therefore the game. One gamer mentioned that he/she was bullied by BigFish when he/she could not complete the game and requested a refund. This person said BigFish replied that they wouldn't refund money because the gamer found it "too hard!" That is not acceptable, BigFish! Not everyone who plays is a seasoned veteran of the HOAG genre! Lynxie sends some to the DTE, and asks you to please stay on rat patrol. We don't need a dead Lynx! Thanks, everyone.

Really couldn't get into the storyline. Found it a little difficult to follow. Sounded good & started out well, then went rogue. Graphics & hidden object scenes were nice. Puzzles, we did not enjoy at all. Morphing objects to be found. Teleporting map provided which was much needed. Overall, disappointed in this installment. Hopefully, next series will be better. Did not have the Wow factor for us. KdBoots.

Game was ok, not much dialogue which was fine with us, sometimes a game is too chatty. Graphics are always spot on. Why the 3 stars? Granted we play on an iPhone but there's no excuse to play and pay for game that the writing is so small that it causes headaches and it doesn't matter if we put it on our brightest setting, still didn't work. Change that and also lower the price.

Some of the mini games wouldn't play.

This is a fantasy tale in which your city is under siege from giant Claybornes that are wreaking havoc everywhere they go. You must also rescue your father, who is blamed for these attacks, before he is executed; is he guilty? You'll find out! Typical magical elements are incorporated; for example, you explore a medieval-like secret chamber that guards family secrets and create an alchemy potion, which makes you disappear. The graphics are second-rate and fail to generate an attention-grabbing reaction; they are visually grainy and subdued. The colors heavily comprise neutral and earth-tone shades of beige, brown, red, and orange. You can customize your settings. The inventory is labeled and interactive; items require assembly. The teleport map is quite temperamental in this game. It allows fairly smooth transport to labeled locations even though we need to click twice to travel; in custom mode, it indicates available actions. Unfortunately, the map is flawed since directional arrows are missing that would normally let one scroll over to the left or the right to be able to access other open locations that do not fit on the screen. We are using the Town Square as a reference point to take us back or forth a screen in order to discover an available task. Am we missing something? Responses are appreciated, if you so desire. Once again, Eipix, aside from Madhead, outperforms their peers with regards to the demiurgic concepts that they instill in their HOS(s). They specialize in multi-layered sequences in which one HOS, arranged in a particular format, will introduce another HOS with a dissimilar format. For example, we love the one where you find glass shards by their silhouette shape in the dark; and as you uncover each additional one, more light is shed until a different type of scene commences. The puzzles are diverse and creative in presentation; our favorite, the storybook type, is included as you gain parts of the backstory through narration. Manual transition between scenes is brisk; no glitches to report. The collectibles are highly visible, and one set can be accessed from under the Menu. Overall, this installment does not "tickle us fancy." The plot does nothing to stimulate us; the graphics are of inferior quality; the map is more laborious than beneficial. The HOS(s) and the puzzles are the highlight here; however, they are not enough to justify a rating of more than 3 stars. Lynx minx: A brief response to your inquiry referencing Witches' Legacy: we did not experience any delays in transition via the map, which is one way of traveling. The other way is to travel around manually as we did back in the day when many developers were still not introducing maps. This is what we call "transition between scenes." we happen to often choose this latter method of transport in lieu of the teleport map itself. This is why we discuss both of them, and we've already explained any issues in that review.

We deleted because we were nearly at the end when we came across a task that to us was impossible to complete. You have to pose two soldiers in order to move on. We tried every combination, but no go. We even went to the guide which we never do. Our thinking is that this task should have been a mini game that could be skipped. We finally deleted because we buy and play these games because they are supposed to be enjoyable not annoying.

Heaven help you if you don't have a photographic memory: One of the most inane and time-wasting of mini-games can't be skipped because it's not coded as a mini-game at all. We just hope you can memorize the positions of opposing knights in a relief, because if you can't–or, as we, can't be bothered–the game is over for you. Deleted and no looking back.

Want to thank Lynx minxs, iyyroc and Draccy for solid reviews.. Sorry if we got names wrong..usually rely on you guys..sorry you have to pay before we buy:( however this one we did not like..transport map very slow for us and we just wasn't feeling it.. Thought load time was long and even though graphics nice…Kind of board and SHORT demo.. Which usually means short game.. Thanks for the incredibly in depth reviews!!! We like the heads up on upcoming games!! Thanks for your time.

Nothing special or exciting about this game. We didn't bother to finish the trial, it seemed so pointless. Hated the constant crowd murmuring. Graphics very flat, like drawings. Some of the "challenge" scene instructions were confusing as all heck. Hidden object scene was BORING.

Why on Big Fish it's stating on sale for $3.99 until Sunday, (today is Saturday) but when we go to purchase the game it says $6.99.

We told big fish we wanted our money back because if you don't have photographic memory you can't finish the game. This what was sent to us. Esponse By Email (Matthew) (February 10, 2017 02:11 PM) Hi Michele, This is Matt in Seattle. It sounds like you'd like a refund on a game you bought from us because it's too hard. That's customer service for y'all.
