Community Insight:

Now this is a game! This game is amazing! We love it.

And so we did. Really chill, neat concept where you just kinda figure it out with intuition. Only complaint is the difficulty plateaus so the endgame is very repetitive. One tip: when you get to the highest difficulty levels, use four fingers at a time and just kinda feel it out with each finger going at a different speed or direction. Ive completed some levels before the waveform even loaded. Love the vibes here and appreciate the developers pricing model. We unlocked all achievements in like two sittings, if thats your thing.

Reminds us of adding waves like sine and cosine from higher level math classes like Fourier Analysis!! No math required though lol.

Its a really fun way to pass the time and its pretty fun but it gets a little repetitive after pike level 200 because there isnt much to do, maybe it could introduce new mechanics when you get to higher levels to make it harder. Just a suggestion but this game is really fun we would recommend playing.

Ive had this app for eons and still go back to it, just relaxing ear fun – and it continues to work with IOS ever changing.

We had never seen this game the entire 5 years its been available and we spend a LOT of time searching and browsing the AppStore. Finally amsaw we this week, its free and its awesome. This really highlights what a jungle of mostly junk the AppStore is. We wish there was something Apple could do to improve it. Download this game. No ads either.

We love this game because its like a mind trick almost but not exactly its really fun now but as a child we dont have any money so we think it should be free for all ages but this app is so amazing.

This game is very fun. It can be difficult but thats kinda the point.

This game has the music Ive heard in a game in a while. A lot of games like Minecraft and Terraria are known for having very unique music. Kerflux has music just as good or even better.

This game is great when our mind is busy but Im too tired to think. Gameplay is so simple that instructions would get in the way, but that doesnt mean the game is easy. It takes the kind of immersive tuning-in that shoves busy, random thoughts to the side. The way the audio adapts to the wave adjustments is a delightful feature. This is an ideal game for anxious nerds.

Hasnt been updated in 4 years and still holds up.

Im glad they didnt charge you for the game and instead added a pay what you want feature. However, if it was a game we had to pay for, we would have just because of how great the game is. We feel like the creators were not in it to make money, but instead they were in it because they had passion and a very interesting concept that teaches you something in the process, well done.

The title was, Fourier Analysis: The Game Its a good game.

Confusing to explain but very good.

Fun to play, clean design, no annoying ads. We wish all apps were like this.

Fun brain exercise game. Interesting and innovative. Simple yet fun.

Picked it up from a friends recommendation; its incredibly fun to play, as well as soothing (solving via audio cues). Feature Request: Would it be feasible to implement a customizable configuration for adjusting the auto assist sensitivity as your multi-wave-shape-amalgation nears the shape of the levels cutout / goal? Im referring to the autoassist at the completion of a level; the amount of help it provides gets pretty noticeable at around the level 70ish mark to us, particularly after reading the criticisms from the review about Fourier Transforms on March 2nd of this year. Perhaps, after completing all the levels of the game (and upon unlocking Endless mode), indicate to users that this feature is available (should enough users notice this as well and make a point about it to request tweaking). Aside from that- thank you for creating this wonderful game, and implementing it in such a way that our recently met newfound friend was able to bring this to our attention (and we regret not having found it earlier!).

This game makes us feel like a DJ.

The game is a bit challenging and has a lurking curve but its also a good puzzle experience and makes beautiful shapes.

Funnily enough, the first 15 levels or so were super intuitive for us as a composer who frequently works with synthesizers and is fairly familiar with additive synthesis. But the puzzles can got pretty challenging pretty quickly and Ive been enjoying the hell out of them so far.

Kerflux is a great game we can play to pass the time. We even like the non-intrusive system where it ask how much you think the game is worth, without any ads or annoying micro transactions. Id honestly pay the maximum (which is $9.99), but we dont have the money, and Im leaving a review instead. If we could spend it, we would. These developers deserve it.

Kerflux presents a unique challenge of picking up on visual cues and component patterns as you try to build the waveform out of simple harmonic building blocks. As an introduction to a field of math that had previously scared us off just from hearing the name, this game provides a simple and intuitive expression of Fourier analysis. We love a game that really engages the brain. 151 waves in and its still an interesting endeavor. Criticism: we really hate how the solution-assist (that thing that will slightly adjust all the waves into a perfect fit when youve got it all the components in a close enough position) is so sensitive. Too often Ive seen the waves drift into place while we were still trying to understand what we were doing and how the waves were building. On that same note we also wish the audio cues made more sense. Im not asking to listen to the timbre of each wave (what the shape of the wave actually sounds like). As interesting a challenge as that might be that we get the feeling that would probably not be pleasant. It would, however, be really cool if each wave that was more in place would reveal a different part of the soundtrack instead of the whole track fading in and out. We dont know, we mostly play with the sound off cuz we dont like how it helps us solve the puzzle without actually understanding and solving the puzzle.

We have a blast playing this. Great way to play with filters and matching waves.

Each wave either amplifies or interferes every other wave depending on the position they have in relation to one another. Its accurate, beautiful and so addicting.

Great time waster. Unfortunately, it may be too great. Im wasting time we dont have to waste.

What more do u want. The no ads thing alone should win them a novel prize.

A very soothing game with a nice minimalist design. Wish we could donate more but we have zero money.

This game is wonderful we love it and how it has various options for payment.

This game is simple and relaxing. The music is strangely soothing.

This game is amazing and fun 5/5.

Love this game! Creative thinking and mind-bending shapes.

This amazing puzzle game is amazing. Period.

Besides being just a good game to relax to there are no ads. Not a single one and you pay what you feel the game is worth which we think is unique in this day and age.

All of the sudden the App Store is EXPLODING with amazing original apps! Thank you for contributing to the golden app age.

Kerflux is an awesome game so addictive.

Really challenging and amusing game. Highly recommended.

This app is really good you download it.

So addicting but in a good way super fun to pass time.

Please we need MORE LEVELS!!! :(.

Bro this game is so hype! It's interesting and it keeps you thinking, it's easy and fun! We love it and if we had money we would have given it money.

This game stands out to us from all the other games. With 99 waves, there will be challenges for hours. We personally enjoyed the game, but a good feature that should be added is the ability to replay levels.

Simple but challenging. It's worth coming back too.

Pleasurable play, stunningly simple yet thoughtful graphics and the combination of subtle details and nuanced precision makes for a really relaxing minimalist game. We can play this anywhere, anytime and it satisfies creative need and boredom alleviation. All around stellar.

No ads! Peaceful! Gave us time to zone out which is rare… Please pay any donation, our budget can't do it right now but this is a great app.

It's cool to play something so different from everything else. Instead of flashy graphics this game engages you with sound.

This game is excellent, not sure of the strategy yet but still passing levels. Get it.

This is an interesting game that is really fun and we've never seen a game that has puzzles like this one also it's not very hard so you don't need to have the same puzzle solving skills like you would in portal 2. We recommend getting it.

We don't know if you could really call this a game, but it's still really fun. We highly recommend downloading and playing this game for yourself. 11/10.

A unique puzzler with no annoyances really, a catchy song, and good gameplay. Rare to find in a mobile game nowadays.

Pretty nice game, good soundtrack Recommend.
