Player Experience Highlights

Community Insight:

This game is very good and enjoyable game and this game definitely deserves 5 star.

We like this game but not online peer to peer.

We e found no other pool game that stimulated real onglish and alignment of shot and consistency in stroke.

Real Snooker 3D is a compelling and most entertaining electronic equivalent of the real live game. Ive been playing this for many years and reckon our game has dramatically improved.

An engaging game offering challenges and customization. We appreciate the aiming tools and the realistic physics. The Bots have skills and the game speed is appropriate.

We love snooker and this is the best.

We play 8 Ball Pool quite a bit, and though the physics and 3D layout make this quite a bit different, its quite enjoyable. Im a big snooker fan and this is the first iPad game Ive tried. We guess our biggest wish, at this point, would be the ability to play others online. Ill keep playing get a better feel and maybe update our review later. All in all Id say good job, if you like snooker, check it out.

We like the smooth game play very smooth play.

Excellent way to learn the game well done to the creator.

Very real, if the quality is better, the middle of the intensity display will be better removed! Hard to create such a good game author, refueling support you.

This game is really fun to play. Its very easy to learn as the line will tell you what balls you can play, with lines that are blue if okay and red if not. Not sure of blue might be green, but red lines are a no no.

It really trains the brain and is strategic.

Easy controls. More than 3 difficulty settings would be an improvement.

We really like it it's pretty good. We play with our dad sometimes and it's very good.

This developer has 2 billiards games that we play. This one (Real Snooker 3D), and Real Pool 3D. Firstly, the ads are only 5 seconds long and are at the beginning end of the games. Never during a game. The graphics are perfect as well as real world dynamics. The only possible improvement would be for these games to be PVP verses pass over play. Also, PVP with single game real money games and large bracket money games. Im a decent pool player and would like to compete for money. Ive downloaded probably every real money pool app available, even one with 4.9 stars, but the mechanics of those games are horrible. These 2 games are the only billiards apps currently on our iPad. Ive decided that Im going to pay the $3.99 for each app. Not to stop the ads that are only 5 seconds long, but to do our part in helping the developers continue their work. Nothing more we can say. These apps are wonderful.

Best computer game we have ever used. Excellent App Eric Copans.

We spend a lot of time with it on our iPad. We think it cheats.

The AI is ridiculously accurate and lacks logic on all difficulty levels. It choses a blue over a black ball on every occasion and doesnt care about building a series. The table is too slow. The typical tournament opening break cant be repeated on this table speed. Balls either barely move, or the entire pyramid goes boom. The speed should allow for mid-strength gentle hits. Otherwise, its a solid effort. Thank you.

We like the game. We never knew this was a thing. Ive played many other billiard style games and they all have more control over the view and angle before committing to a shot. We should be able to remain locked on target and remain in position while rotating table view.

Decent enough gameplay but with serious caveats. Main issues include poor camera programming that often allows moving balls to roll out of frame. What?! Also there are frequent bugs with aiming a shot versus camera/POV being enacted, and even the occasional unintentional shot gets taken while doing either. Very annoying if in the middle of a big break! Finally, Jack the CPU player has absolutely terrible form. Beyond good potting there is zero positional or strategic playing, constantly goes for random and weird shots that no decent player would take, and with terribly stabby cuing action thats really hard to watch.

The game is very smooth and acceptable. But unfortunately, it does not have an option for misses and free balls. This is very strange to us because these are among the most interesting rules of snooker. We hope you fix these issues soon so it's closer to the real game.

Too many weak spots. Crashes. Rule problems. Set Red as the On Ball when there were no reds left on the table. Cue ball doesnt respond to side spin.

The gameplay is ok but there are a couple of issues. The computer player makes weird shot selections such as going for a long yellow when theres a higher value ball sitting over the pocket. We think it might be related to the difficulty level selected but beginner players are never going to select that shot. Conversely, some of the long shots it can sink are pro-level. Id change the AI and give it better shot selection but have potting ability more variable on the easier settings. The other issue is that fouls arent being scored correctly. Potting the black when youre on a red should be a seven point penalty but the game only gives four points.

Love the game for the most part. Just a couple key things would make it perfect for us. 1. We would like the ability to replay a shot in practice mode 2. We wish the AI opponent would wait to concede on the start of their turn instead of interrupting ours. Else, the gameplay is good and a fun way to kill some time.

Im playing on hard, Ive yet to lose the toss, dont pot a ball on break, AI takes over and wins .. Rinse and repeat.

The AI is apparently not for hardcore players who dont like any guideline, we strongly suggest the developers to reduce the probability of AI shot when player choose no guide, the easy AI keep doing insane long shots and big angle shots, we cant play at all. We have to give up this game, we like everything except the AI of this game. Update AI pls.

We dont know what youd call the game the AI plays, but its not snooker, because the AI never plays any safety shots. It always goes for the shot to sink a ball. The difficulty levels only reflect how often the shot is successful, and nothing else. Ive tried all three difficulty levels, and the AI never plays a safety, attempting even the most difficult shots trying to sink a ball. In actual snooker, the safety play is a vital part of the game. Until we hear that the AI has been changed, we cannot recommend the games AI to anyone. This is a lovely looking game, but it isnt snooker.

Amazing graphic and UI. Feel like in a real life game. Love it.

New to the game of Snooker though Ive played other cue games for ages. This has QUICKLY become our favorite.

Excellent game but could be better (and more adapted for snooker, rather than just a pool game on a bigger table) if it showed your current break score, and the remaining points on the table.

Very good pool game but can we get some better player pictures to choose from, these are much to cartoon-age for such a fine game. The ability to choose a photo for youre player also would be nice.

Everythings great except lacking online multiplayer.

IRREGULAR FELT COLORS,NOT APPEASING TO THE EYEBALL! CHANGE IT AND ILL WHIP YOUR BUTTS! YT,daMONGOOSE.

Computer AI is the problem. It doesnt use any english in any shot, and shoots at the two cross table before taking the obvious seven. It is way too easy to beat on the hardest level. Beautiful graphics, realistic action on our play, and very good UI.

Pockets are still too small and aim pointer could have a long and short version.

Its like Ronnie OSullivan vs a noob.

Your game has a lot of bugs. Without hitting the que ball, target ball moves. Play and pay a close attention. You will see it.

We hit a ball 4 feet away with barely enough power to tap it into the pocket it was sitting next to. Barely touched the red ball enough to bump it in a couple inches away. The cue ball was basically at a stop. Yet with the English it ripped it back almost 3 feet. There seems to be no correlation between power and english.

Absolutely Stunning and Superb. Learning a great deal about the game.

Entertaining and fantastic game.

UPDATE: Game crashes ALL THE TIME now and there is no Help option. Not adjusting the stars on our review just yet, however if its not fixed soon we wont have a choice. We do not normally leave reviews. However, this game is by far our Go To when we have some time to relax. The sounds and graphics are spot on and we SWEAR the AI learns. You dont open this game up knowing you are going to lose or you are going to win. If Im having a bad night we swear the game adjusts and even though we leave it on Medium it doesnt whip our behind but if Im having a good night, it does play a little more challenging. In addition, we have a few shots that we consistently struggle with and this game seems to know that so it will leave the angle shot for us as practice. Maybe Im reading into it but this is probably the best dev work we have seen in a long time. The adds do NOT overwhelm you and you do not have to sit through the same adds over and over. GREAT QUALITY work was done on this game. THANK YOU.

BEST SNOOKER GAME we HAVE EVER PLAYED.

No issue with with AI potting from anywhere on the table. Loses a star for not registering actual breaks (reds & colors). Not overly interested in final score, other than having more points than our opponent. As a snooker player (when we lived in the UK), we dont want to mentally note what reds / colors Ive potted. Our concentration is on the next 2 or 3 shots ahead. Please add this feature at your next update.

Computer makes every long shot on the table not matter where the cue or object ball is. Apparently the designers of the game never shot a game of snooker in their lives. We grew up playing snooker and never saw shots like this made. Software needs allot of work to improve this game Thanks Snooker lover.

We dont understand. When we play the computer we always have to break.

This is almost as fun as playing the game in person.

Fun game with realistic play in regard to table length and cue ball control. One main difference we noticed: on a real table you cannot rely on rails and nips to help your ball drop in the corners. It basically never happens. But that doesnt take away from the fact that the graphics are gorgeous and the music is extremely soothing. Looking forward to potential updates which maybe include alternative tracks and the possibility of some in-game mentoring.

We enjoy killing time playing this game. Its been relaxing and fun. Go Spurs Go.
