What Makes Overdrive Ninja Shadow Stand Out
In the future, a strong, outstanding species is created from the combination of humans, technology and black metal.
The government names them “shadow cyborg”, and allows every sector to have their own shadow security force (S.E.F), but all of theme have to be controlled by the Headquarter placed in Century city.
Everything seems so perfect, til the day Headquarter is under attacked by a Dark Clan.
CORE, a senior cyborg soldier discovers the plot too late.
The Lord Commander of S.E.F is hacked, he slays his soldier and replace them by new shadow cyborg generation to take over the government.
After the attack, CORE joins the rebel and heads to the city seeking revenge for his comrades and destroying the Dark Clan.
Overdrive is a combination hack n slash and action platformer with many weapons available: sword, buster sword, spear, twin dagger…with unique built-in combos.
Starting from the Dark Forest, you will face dangerous enemies and traps. In the fight, use your skill to avoid attack and make extraordinary combos.

So our IPad is really old and we downloaded this game and it blew our mind. The graphics were really good and the daily login prizes were good. 5/5.
All we can say is that this game is one of the best fighting games Ive ever played.
We played this game on our other phone last year. At first we enjoyed playing this game like all mobile games we get tired of it. We liked the character design ,the comics, the awesome visual graphics, and most of all the gamplay. But then what happened? It got boring… This game needs more , they need to enhance more things to do in this game its like its lacking something for a perfect game. Yet we like it still thats why its 4 stars. And we heard their is an Overdrive 2 not that great though we dont recommend it.
There are some bad glitches and its causing problems please get it fixed.
There needs to be so many bug fixes because it is so hard to play with the bugs.first why when you have two commands on the command list why just WHY DOES IT OVERLAP WITH THE RIGHT button just why and we cant even upgrade the damage there is so many bugs that are so annoying we dont even know why you didnt fix them the game could be so much better.
The game is fun until you unlock the special attack it literally blocks the forward button you cant even play and worst of all just to move you have to go on the edge of the forward button and sometimes you just turn around mid jump. Good game but need to shrink or move the special attack button.
Need to shrink the special or put it with the abilities other than that make a 3D version. Not that we dont like 2D but it would be nice if we could see behind. 99 percent of awesome.
Im almost level 100. Its been months since an update. Are the developers gonna make more updates or let the game stay as it is. Theres no point to continue our progress it the game has no more updates. Ill give it higher stars and spend money if updates are made. If not then we wont continue playing.
This game was fun before the last update now controls are so WEIRD someone fix it.
Theres too much garbage on screen in the menue. We also could not get over a lifetime of muscle memory from every game Ive ever played that has the jump button on the right with attack on the left. Reversing this caused too many problems.
Our special attack is over our move so we cant move forward pls fix.
This game is so fun, so easy yet challenging, with that natural classic retro and pixelated graphics and gameplay that you cant find in the real world anymore. And to find it on a iPad we are shocked that it works so well. Sadly we cant cheat the game by making in app purchases but the next best thing is it lets you work worth it when you get a new character or weapon or even enter the next map. 10/10 would play again and recommend for a five rating.
This game is fun but challenging there are many aspects that make the game very good but there are some faults. First, the trident wielders are really hard and unbalanced and make it almost impossible to dodge because of their unpredictability and fast movements . Also parkouring from one platform to another can be a guessing game due to the fact that you can not see things below you because you jump so high but contradicting that statement you need to jump high to get over the several enemies in the game. Overall the game is well developed and boundlessly fun needs a few kinks worked out but keep adding to the story mode and we cant wait for the multiplayer mode.
This game is amazing and it is an instant classic. We love the action and great gameplay. It is fresh and clean. The only thing it needs is a new multiplayer mode. But anyway it is amazing.
Its very fun and a good way to pass time.It has clean graphics and the controls are smooth.
Their harder to deal with than the bosses.
First, Ill start out with a recommendation for a game mode then we shall move into character upgrades, and a character idea. Game-mode: player vs player, you can have a 1v1 through WiFi, with a large slice of map, and you could do an objective that if controlled, would spawn NPCs for you, Character upgrades: in game currency for speed upgrades, but you can unlock the combos through rounds, the more you use, the more you get, Character Idea: the character has broad shoulders, squared off, has a red glow, and has a big hammer, we dont have any combos, but the ultimate would be you throw the hammer up, and it hits down as big as the arena you are in, killing up to one of the big enemy hammer guys, if you arent in an arena, the hammer just flies back into your hand, and you can use where you threw the hammer as a checkpoint, and when you die, if you had used the ultimate in an open space, you would consume the ultimate on respawning, Thank you for reading this, and please consider these recommendations for the neat updates,.
This game is easy at first then becomes quite challenging, but all you need to do is find an easy way to kill the enemies and you will be zooming through it.
Overdrive is a very fun cool game and we cant wait until multiplayer is out except we noticed every time you spin it always lands on the same thing over and over pls give us an option to move the spinner to a different spot for different rewards.
We like the game in general but we dont like the hitboxes system when you are right on the enemy it makes us feel awkward and have to go to the side and then kill the enemy.
But, whenever we try to play the 4th section of levels, Im just stuck on the loading screen. We dont know if its just us or its a bug, but the game is still good.
So we personally love this game we think it was very well made and is very simple but we have noticed us game keeps crashing on the third chapter level 8 when we use the attack when you hold the melee attack and release and its got this thing when you are at a certain height the shockwave of the attack is glitchy and wont hit the enemys.
We love the game it's very fun and has some good control movements though it's a bit weird how a character can fall through the map with such a tiny gap…and how we somehow got -5k coins… May you please figure out why that happened it takes a while to grind that many coins <3 Love the game keep up the good work <3.
This game is a great game but we dont see where we can buy better weapons and armor. Theres only buying new heroes. Misleading.
This game is fun to play, when there isnt an ad playing while you pause it. In our opinion there are too many ads, even when you pause it which is ridiculous. The game though is truly fun but crashes, and the new map isnt even loading. If you developers read this review, please fix all the bugs in the game.
The hitboxes need to be fixed and dashing makes us use a combo that keeps us stationary.
Whenever we attempy to log on to Facebook via the Overdrive Ninja Shadow game application in order to save/sync our progress & purchases, Facebook gives us an error saying the app is stilp under development and that we need to contact an app admin to get permission to sync our games data. Please help.
This game is a great 2D side scroller. We really do enjoy the different combos presented within each character, however there seems to be a lot of bugs within the game. We do find it a lot more challenging and we have difficulty passing levels. Overall this game is good but be careful of the bugs and crashes.
Pausing kills your character. Fix your game.
As a busy person we don't have a whole lot of time, but in our breaks we dream of playing this game. From it's easy controls to chic design, this game keeps us coming back for more. We can't wait for more updates as this game has plenty of wiggle room from either furthering the plot, adding characters, or the idea of more weapons. With its thrill level in tact, this game can really suit anyone's trigger finger.
Overdrive Night Shadow is a great game! It has a simple idea, and pretty nice graphics. We would like to recommend some tweaking and some suggestions though. 1) First, the save system is kind of dumb at times. On the first boss level Ive encountered, as soon as you die and respawn, you get put near a checkpoint near the very beginning, this making you have to restart the whole level again when you couldve saved ad-time or 50 souls to respawn. 2) Second, the foreground is hard to differentiate from the background, since they both have that grey/blackish theme. Which makes it hard to see moving traps and overall the platforms itself. An appealing design we recommend would be to add a neon border around the platforms and to make the background brighter, this would bring out this LINGO feel but also add its own futuristic touch. 3) Aesthetic-wise, we would really like to hear some sound coming from the game. Im not sure if its us or not but the game is dead silent. Having an intense track playing like in the intro video and sound effects along with the dynamic visuals would keep players more intrigued. 4) we preferably like to play games with our phone oriented home-button-on-left, and landscaped. The phone feels weird in our hands otherwise and having the screen stuck in the home-button-on-right, makes us check the screen lock everytime and also feels restricting. If you guys could allow the game to flip over to the other landscape orientation, that would be great. 5) Lastly, the way the buttons are arranged throw us off sometimes and reduce our reaction time, we feel like with all the games Ive played, the dash button is lower than the jump button, as the jump button makes you go higher, it should be on top of everything. This is more of a favor from us, but we would like to see an button layout option to differ gameplay. Overall, this is a great game and has lots of potential. We hope it gets the publicity it deserves and that the developers will continue keeping it fresh and entertaining. Thank you for reading.
It would be amazing, but it is super buggy and literally everything requires an ad. Pausing just kills your character and makes you watch an ad. It then makes you restart. You can go through walls and fall out of the world easily. When we saved up souls for 1 hour to buy lightning blade, we lost all our money and didn't get lightning blade. We quit.
This is the best game we every played so far.
