Controls: Control Molli by swiping the screen. Molli runs in one direction automatically, and swiping left or right makes her change direction. Swiping up or down will make her jump between floors. Certain flashlights you can use offer slightly different control schemes.

To make it worth the wait, we've included several bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, a brand new Charm, and some fresh Candies and Curses for you to enjoy. New Additions
Bookworm Key (Charm): Start the run in the Undead Library and get 2 random Curses. (Leaderboard mode clear times disabled)
Volt Jolt Jelly (Candy): Small chance to Zap another ghost after destroying one.
Ghoulie Gumpop (Candy): Soul Heart drop chance increased x5.
Phantom Feast Curse (Curse): Gain 4 Soul Heart Points when collecting Hearts at full health. Heart meter fill speed x0.25.
Improvements
Upgraded the Google Purchasing API – this should resolve a lot of purchasing issues.
Necro Scythe changes:
Bubblegum Bones now spawn puddles at level 3.
Bubblegum Bones now spawn bone projectiles at level 4.
Enemy hitboxes have been improved.
Assist Mode: Lowers ghost room counts, halves damage taken, and lowers boss health (can be turned off in settings). Leaderboard times will not be posted while assist is on.
Removed the "Lose all Health" Maltose effect.
Fire Spirit Health lowered to 4hp
Ghost King's health lowered to 4hp
The countdown timer from pausing no longer displays in Treasure Rooms or when the room boss has been defeated.
Increased the time it takes for pickups to despawn.
Based on your current combo, Firefly, Torchfly, and Virusfly lantern orbs will now increase in speed.
Necro Wisps only spawns poison floor tiles during the Necro Scholar CC boss.
Ghost Gifts spawn ectoplasm upon being damaged.
Bug Fixes
Save logic has been upgraded to fix various save bugs.
Fixed a bug that caused Flashlights to sometimes not deal damage.
Fixed a bug that caused Molli to jump very high off-screen.

Very fun game, but for whatever reason the sound does not work we tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesnt seem to fix the issue. Check the settings and sound and sound effects are not turned off.
Ive been playing this game while growing up and we still think its fun to this day thank you developers for creating this awesome game.
We got this game from a video and it was fun to play, but we keep crashing even when we use graphics 1 and we only crash on the jacko lanterns and no where else, we have a iPhone 15 pro max and it still crashes.
One of if not the best mobile game Ive played. Its super fun and has barely any ads in it. Its difficult but not to the point where youd wanna rage quit but instead want to try again.
This is a fun game, we enjoy trying to get a higher score while making it to the final boss. The bosses are all fun to take on as well.
We have played this game for awhile we started trying to get tako boys when we came across a bug that when you hit any boss with the ball firefly and the sword at the same time it double damage when we know its not supposed to not really bad thing just watching report it for balancing.
Can you add new bosses or make a second game please.
Ive played this game for a few years, and its still so good!!1!1 the replayability of this thing is amazing!! Just one problem, on botanical ballroom, just after the pumpkin bombs start dropping, the game crashes and restarts the level, making it impossible to progress we dont have discord, so we cant report it there. Hopefully you guys read your reviews.
We have been playing Candies N Curses for years basically since our freshman year of high school, we since graduated almost 2 years ago and we still enjoy the game, today when we got on we did notice changes like how the game now runs super smooth like a arcade game like its so smooth like butter and we were pretty sure our max necro scythe never had bones flying towards enemiesXD we noticed the new charms almost immediately like we never saw that one when we checked the book we saw the new charm outlines and said we knew something was up, they updated!!, which is why Im here to see if we were right and we were right lol to be honest the game is even more enjoyable now, that update was definitely needed, and im so glad you guys didnt leave this game hanging because its one of our favs, thank you so much! P.s our favorite stages are the Undead Library and Dinette of Doom for the music.
This game is really fun but whenever we get to a the Jungle level our game crashes.
Love this game, have no joke had it on our last three phones and have played it since college. Kind of a bummer that theres a level cap, we feel like ive done everything there is to do, discovered all the charms and all that. Still, really fun and adorable! If there wasnt a level cap, itd be 5 stars.
We love the gameplay and like the content, but the prices for some of the flashlights can be quite high, and theres a bug involving the Blight Blade and Scorch Blade causing it to crash on longer floors.
For some reason whenever the pumpkins spawn in level 5 the game immediately crashes for us. We play on iOS 11 so it may not be a problem for everyone.
Very fun and great game but in the second to last level when the pumpkins spawn in our game crashes and Im on iPhone 15 plus.
We're love this game and it's everything we want in a fun mobile app. The art is phenomenal, the gameplay is simple yet challenging and the atmosphere is one to reel you in. ~ we're playing on an Iphone 13 and having an issue where when we get to the Botanical Ballroom and we get to about when the jack-o-lanterns start spawning, our game crashes suddenly. Has happened every time we get to this point and can't seem to get past it :/.
We love this game, we remember playing it a lot in HS; for some reason (and this doesnt happen every time) the game crashes at the botanical level. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesnt. Its not until the jack o lantern bombs show up.
This game is amazing and Ive played it for years, Ive only had one issue with it recently, when you play through a level any of the ad rewards dont work, youll press them and then it will just send you out of it.

This is such a fun game. We really like the gameplay and characters. The storyline is also good. Just a cute platformer style game! Our one qualm is that Ollys Flashlight doesnt deal any damage for us, so Molli just takes a bunch of damage and does nothing to the ghosts. We hope this glitch gets fixed! We havent had any other glitches except that one.
Candies and Curses is wonderful! From the gameplay to the art style, from the enemies to the bosses, from the levels to the power-ups, its amazing, sure, theres ads but thats a fair price to pay for a game like this. There is so much content in this game even we still havent gotten through it all. We DEFINITELY recommend this game.
There is this strange bug which causes some of the flashlights to not actually kill enemies the way they are supposed too until you upgrade them to level three.
When we started the game her flashlight was broken. No flames, damage, just her losing hearts. The game is amazing but theres also a glitch with the store. We cant buy anything and we really want an ad free game.
We just want to say this is one of our favorite mobile games of all time. The visuals, the retro feel, all the collectibles Its just great all the way through. Dont miss out.

This game is so fun and so challenging (in a good way). We just saw the most recent update with the costumes, and it reminded us that we really wished they did that but with Mollies skin tone and hair colors! PLEASE Game Devs PLEASE.
For some reason, sometimes when we select the Atomic Fenix MX, we are unable to deal damage. Its a glitch only is fixed when we restart the game. PLS fix. Great game btw.
This game was a blast to play, but the endgame bosses arent fun and youre guaranteed to get hit. So the majority of a run is building up health items so that you can face tank your way through attacks. If the devs would nerf the late game bosses, this game would be ten stars.
This game is amazing and challenging but its also fun. The thing is is that some of the flashlights dont work properly. For example the Kings Beacon was supposed to damage enemies in front of it, but it didnt. Not sure if this is a bug or a feature but we spent 70,000 souls on a flashlight that doesnt work. We think the developers should focus on fixing bugs and not shoving micro transactions down our throats.
We really enjoy the game because of its difficulty, but when we bought the atomic fnix we noticed it doesnt work at all for us. When we run into enemies it doesnt affect them and we just get hit.
This game is endlessly repayable super cute so much fun, we'd highly recommend it BUT, we have a huge problem. We purchased the launch sale thing for $10 and it should have disabled ads and gave us "gorger's lamp" and "goober the pup" but we didn't receive the items and we still sometimes see ads :/ wondering if there is a glitch.

This is one of our favorite games that we played, we really like just the blade type flashlights. But for some reason while using the Blight blade it sometimes crashes the game, if we were lucky enough it only crashes after two rooms, if we were to continue it will quickly crash. Im not sure if other people have this problem or other flashlights have been crashing, but Im pretty sure that this is the only blade that has a crashing problem. This problem has been going on for a long time. We hope this gets fixed soon, we just want to use the Blight blade without crashing on us. Edit: It still crashes on us.
We played this game forever now and Im in love with the music the theme and everything we wish there were more things to do but we still play this game till this day.

We love this game so much. We remember we had downloaded it once, and struggled so much that we got a headache (it didnt help that we were in a car because we get motion sickness.) but this game isnt hard at all, we were just bad at it. We deleted it, but redownloaded it and found that it was pretty easy and even relaxing at sometimes. The sound design is great, the graphics are great, the story mode is fun, and the characters are all engaging and well designed. And plus its not riddled with ads at all. Plus the game has a discord community which allows you to talk and converse with other fans, and they actually listen when you give feedback ect ect. Great game, and great development. If you come across this gem of a game, we 10/10 recommend downloading it.
One thing, after we beat a boss it would be nice to have the option to pick what floor we like spawn on/ beat boss said amount of time.
So the Wi-Fi is out, all you can play is stupid ahem, ROAL MATCH ON THE APP STORE, IT HAS NO ADS. However, this game right here fixes all of that, great art, cool concept, etc. However not all games are perfect, progression could have been different, you could have made new bosses instead of remaking old ones (excluding Phantom king). The hard mode (peppermint thing, whatever you call it) could have been different in a difficulty perspective. Other than that, great game.

From the sprites to the sweet treats its just an amazing game to play plus no forced ads(thank goodness) There is some curses like you cant enter the game or it crashes midway but overall 10/10 great.
This game was the best type of game but we were thinking of a 2nd one we got some ideas for helpers like a parrot we just hope all of you are doing well and maybe make more games in the future.
This game is dope. From the art style to the gameplay its really impressive and uses the limitations of a phone game well. There are micro-transactions and for us they dont matter. Havent beaten the toughest mode yet, but after finishing the base game Im gonna keep playing till we do.
We love the game formula for this game but it does annoy us theres haptic feedback which sometimes makes the game harder to control so an option for that would be nice.

We're just giving 5 stars for all our data:our soul, ectoplasm, weapons, charms, records and costumes restored from our former Android phone. The game does have shortcomings, but that's nothing because it's the first game to save all our data even we're playing on two absolutely different platforms.
In our opinion,its a treat to play the reason is that in that game you a little girl named mollie that got dared to go to a haunted house/mansion you basically fight ghost and globs of slime in the game this is a pretty good game PS:longest sentence EVER.
We absolutely LOVE the game and the way to play. There is one thing we do want to be in the game which is having more weapons even though there are a handful. We would like if there was a light that turns off if you use too much and you have to find batterys around the room to turn in back on. 10/10 great work.
Can there an update for candies n curses with multiplayer and on consoles with the same functions.
The only thing we dont like is the costumes cost real money. Maybe have a couple that cost in-game currency instead? Other than that its great! Lots of fun for a casual game.
