We used to love this game until the developers started adding so much content that it muddled the game, so we deleted it. A year later, we downloaded it to find that its so overly complex, with way too much upgrading and upgrading and upgrading and upgrading. Now, we have no idea how to stay competitive. It was a game we were willing to spend money on, but the cost is way too high for the majority of anything that would be helpful. The introduction of an over abundance of characters, each one able to be upgraded to exhaustion. Theres upgrading and add on upgrades and weapon upgrades and add on weapon upgrades and item upgrades and add on item upgrades. Its too much, it was a fun, simple game that is now drowning in confusing content. We doubt Ill keep it for long this time around, we dont see it getting any simpler to understand.
Loved the game so much we started playing the pc version too very different but our favorite version is this one on the iOS store we hope they add it to steam one day! Pros: free loot to progress Lots of variety and not a strong meta until late game after world 10. Avatars look amazing(skins) which you can get most for free unless they are special Pet system Dungeons Guilds with a nice player base Beautiful world Story is worth reading! Art is great all around even old areas Cons: can be grindy Lots of different MATTS(materials to build craft etc.) PvP is true end game after you complete the story Leveling and chasers are scary to work on at first (follow a guide or please use in game info to farm) Lack of community sometimes the game has off seasons of no players but this is a pro sometimes if you wanna be a PVP King/Queen Overall a solid 9/10 it is a spiritual 10 for now we gotta finish the story but yeah definitely try it out.
We havent played the original but we like this game a lot. Its pretty easy to get through the main story since they give you very strong characters for free. The combat reminds us of LoL, we dont know if Im alone on this. The design also kinda gives Epic Seven vibes too. Keep up the good work! We will definitely keep playing this long term. :).
We played grand chase in the early 2000s and it absolutely carried our childhood. We loved the characters, the job changes, the designs. We would grind every new character after release, and eventually became an Amy pvp main before Ley dropped. Then the game got shut down. We were traumatized. We were 10-13 when we played back then and im 25 now. Finding this game and it actually being GOOD, has restored our faith in humanity. We love the new characters, the mechanics, the designs and the lore. As a die hard grand chase player id like to say thank you, thank you, thank you.
There is so much stuff you have to remember, we wanted a good a could play when we have been drinking.
Exactly as the title says. Good story but not bogged down by it. Likeable characters and good design. Combat can be fun or you can let them auto run.
Been playing the game since 2013 on pc a lot of the story line changed and plenty new characters, but so far for so good no glitches nor bugs.
Honestly if its one thing for us and maybe for a lot of us and its like the smallest thing, but can you guys please make it to where we can skip the Ult animations please. We love to see it but if we could skip and just cut straight to the ult that would be great.
Game sudden crashes after loading screen.
We played this game since we were 9 and we loved it as a our childhood game and our go to game afterschool. We only wished the the original pc version to look like this. Game has relaunched on steam and now even epic games and to us its obvious to attract newer players but sadly the art style, graphics and models are outdated. New players in this generation look forward to better graphics and this mobile version can really do trick. The pc version itself already has amazing character designs, good lore, good content, and most importantly to us is the mechanically skilled pvp. It just needs a little love to be one of the best anime rpg game imo.
We love the art and stories. Very detailed and the gameplay is interesting as well. Though wish the main story has voice dubbing in them since most of our favorite Japanese voice actor are voicing the characters. We are aware of how expensive they are but it doesnt hurt to wish it. Overall we love the story and game.
So Ive played GC way back in the days when we were a kid this was our child hood literally like most players whove grew up on grand chase we wanted to continue the chase after it shut down those years ago. Theres no other games we can find that are just like this on mobile its one of its kind. So like most gacha games there grindy and we dont mind that the only issue we would like to mention is the energy. Once youve used up all your energy theres really nothing else to do anymore unless you actually spend money on getting more or watch ads but the energy you get from the ads arent really enough to do much either. We believe we didnt use to have energy when we first started playing years ago. We would just like to see us be able to have more energy or like most of us get rid of the energy and allow us to grind our hearts out. Theres already so much to grind so not being able to do that can really be annoying. Players will get bored and just wait till reset to grind with that lil energy you get. We cant use gems cause those are very scars and cant just waste them. Please KoG remove energy or make a better system so us players who love to play for hours can grind without feeling limited. Its already a pain getting a character to C20 or FSI. But if you guys would allow us to grind without the energy restriction this would improve on more players staying online and active. Also we would like to be able to have our name be longer then 8 letters so maybe make them to 12? It allows more players to have a name they would like to have without someone else already having it. But other then that keep up the work guys we hope you guys hear us as your community as we continue to grow with you guys. Please take what we said into consideration the energy is really just ruining GC. We must come together as a community so we all can have a amazing gaming experience. Much love guys.
We absolutely love this game! We can't put it down! A problem we have though is with how they designed BF, donut lips are known to be a racist way of drawing black lips. We will give some slack where we can though since we do know this game is Korean and isn't American and that they may not know the same things as clearly as a global basis knows.
Was manually rerolling for starting character then our account got permanently blocked ??? Thank you for wasting our time.
Please make a side scrolling grand chase like the pc.
We grew up with the original grand chase and played this mobile game since launch. We made an alt account to make running dual raid easier, but that account was banned today for using hacking tools. Contacting support, we were given the incredibly stock response that its been thoroughly reviewed and will not be overturned even though at no point did they say how we were hacking and they gave 0 cares in the world that we have been a loyal and loving player for many many years. If they gave any concrete idea of how we were supposedly hacking we wouldnt care. But we wont make another alt account just to get banned again, and you shouldnt either. Youd better hope they dont arbitrarily accuse you of hacking and ban your account, because they wont help even if you care a lot about the game.
Literally cant stop coming back to play more! There are so many characters to pick from instead of a top ten list. You can do so many activities from nonstop dungeons to adventuring the huge campaign with a detailed story. So much to love about grand chase plus its F2P friendly.
Can you add Simplified Chinese or Traditional Chinese? In this way, we believe more overseas Chinese will come to play this gameI love this game. But due to language reasons, we can't continue playing.
Hi GrandChase team, since a month ago, this game started to crash very often, plz let it dev team check and fix this bug.
We submitted an inquiry for an error that occurred with the game calculating during a pvp season. Kog then deleted the inquiry after all evidence was sent without a single word to us. We tried to send another asking what had happened and it did not go through. Kog does not care about their players and correcting their mistakes.
When we started downloading in game data,its always stop at when we left 9.9Mb. We reinstalled it but it always stop when we left to download 9.9Mb.
Grand chase used to be a game Id recommend, but the developers got greedy. Now the new character events are pay to play and the global version get watered down rewards compared to the Korean version. The developers are clearly trying to squeeze out every last cent before they abandon this game. We wouldnt touch it if we were looking for a new game.
We were very skeptical when we first found this game. Thought it would be like other stereotypical gachas. We were surprised at how fun this game is and how much they give to players. You can f2p fine in this game without feeling weak. Would highly recommend to people who want a different take on gacha.

Slow burner but a nice pacing to the game that doesnt make you have to dedicate a whole bunch yet you still get a good amount out of it.
Ive played Grand Chase many years back when it was a plat-former on PC. Man we miss that game, and this one helped us remember. We enjoy seeing all the old characters and we like the new ones too. The story is pretty good as well. Overall Grand Chase will always have a place in our heart.
Anyone know how to change the language? Seems it says the game has various language options but we found nowhere to change it.
We have not played the game because we read the terms and privacy policy and declined allowing what they want access to. (BTW, creators, we suggest you review the terms because we read a grammatical error.) we can comment on the loading screen, however! It was unique because it has a mini-game you can play while you wait for the game to download. There are two options which to download- high or low, basically. (Use more space or meager space.) The mini-game was a good addition because we chose low and waited a while so surely the high download would take longer. If you do not want to play the mini-game while waiting, the screen has graphics you can tap through and short descriptions with them that tell a story. The graphics there seemed well made, so we imagine the actual game would be also. We will never know since we will not accept the privacy policy. Cest la vie. Good luck to anyone who plays! (-:.
We recently lost access to our account and was unable to access our old social medias as they were already deactivated/deleted but customer service was quick to assist us with that. It only took 2-3 days for them to finish transferring our game data into a guest account and we quickly bound it into a social media account we presently use. Thanks again for your help, shout out to the customer service team once again.
We havent played in awhile but im reinstalling as im writing this we last played we had somewhere around 1.1m power and we were like lvl 110+ but the game is great the devs have definitely put love into it our friend got us into the game in like a year almost 2 now ago so yeah.
Game files doesnt download. After 906 mb download speed becomes zero and error Remote server blahblah over 9000 appears. Fix your game devs.
So at no point in the game or can we find on the internet what DPS means, and its something you need to do to complete missions in the game, and they dont tell you what it means at all. The directions are lacking and very confusing for a game that is supposed to be played on an tablet.
We love there is finally something good to play we would definitely spend our money here. But only because you give players a chance to play. Very addictive and we love it.
We love this game especially back when we were a kid playing the old school grand chase back on pc. Our only thing we wish you guys would start doing is giving rewards that you wouldnt have to pay for like skins cosmetics etc. Dont get us wrong yes most skins should cost money. But we just would like to see a better rewards system it makes it more fair to the people who wish they could spend money you get us? But love the games always will hope to see more and more from you guys.

This is one of the best f2p friendly games Ive tried in a while! Although the general gameplay concept can be seen in other similar games (ex. Epic Seven), Grand Chase has a combat style that places emphasis on skill timing and strategy too, especially in features like PvP and the Hero Tower. ..Also, have we mentioned that this game is totally f2p? Its generous enough with its SR heroes that you wont struggle in modes like adventure, but it still requires a decent amount of grinding to strengthen your heroes. The only complaint that we really have is that we think players should be given one free chance to change their in-game nickname before having to pay ($20 for a nickname changer, so choose your name wisely).. But otherwise we would completely recommend this game.
We have been playing this game for at least 3 years and we can definitely say we wont stop anytime soon, this game is very calming to us and Im obsessed with the character designs and abilities! It has became a daily routine of ours to play and we have met a lot of nice people through this game we highly suggest playing it and getting sucked into this world as well.
Not too far in but its okay. Didnt demand money from us 20ish hours in. Auto combat with select skills and cooldowns. Its okay.

World 7 win in arena quest is impossible to do as a f2p at any level above 100. The ai in the game is total garbage (zero on team not even using silence), terrible spell order. Make arena manual instead of letting your terrible garbage ai run it.
We have a love for mobile rpg games and have played many of the popular ones! Im telling you if your looking for a different rpg to play that rewards you for your hard work you put in! This game is a dolphins paradise.
We miss the original pc GrandChase. Any chance on bringing that back? This is fine for like our kids.
When we play a game like this we expect to have a good storyline that keeps us interested to keep playing but we'll be honest it feels very bland. And normally if the story is bland the characters will make up for it but in this case the characters or well at least the ones in the story feel very bland as well. Not to mention that the characters we like the most rarely appear and when they do they act like robots. We feel like even side characters should get more spotlight because in all honesty we don't care much for the main heroes. We wish characters like Rasel and Hanout were treated more like characters than just an enemy to attack all the time. And the heroes they just feel very robotic and annoying. Not to mention they call themselves heroes but if they can't seem to get there way they just start attacking the person which doesn't seem very "heroic" to us. We just feel like characters and story could have been executed better because at this point the only selling point for this game is its art. We apologize that it's so long and hope you'll take our advice and please enjoy the rest of your day (or night).
A lot of your deal damage completions are rigged for example 10-8 world 2 enemies spawn just after your dps drops just low enough then doesnt even spawn enough enemies to get back to the required dps delt makes ZERO sense.

Fix your game. Im using an iphone 13 pro max and the game would stutter and when going through the game it has fps problem. It cant be our phone obviously but the game ran just perfectly fine on our iphone xr a month ago. Your up recent update made the game unstable somtimes. Fix the issue.

The game suddenly stopped working for us we already tried resetting the phone resstarting the app and even uninstalled and re-installed but nothing works. Shame that the game is really great.
