We dont think the lag is from us because other apps work perfectly. This game is fun and the story is good, but stupidly the lag needs to be fixed. Every few seconds, the game pauses for a second. Its annoying. Edit: we finished the game before they fixed the lag, but it was really fun. We like fishing in real life, and have tried other fishing games but this one has the best story and unique fishes. We wish we finished gathering all favors, but its okay. Really enjoyed the game.
Love that when we run out of bait, you arent forced to pay money or wait. They give the option to watch an ad to refill as well. So we dont have to stop playing. The English and storyline is a little awkward but its still cute and charming and great for relaxing and passing time. We love that Im not limited, we can play as much as we want, for free with ads or you can pay for unlimited bait with no ads. Either way, we think its something every game should give the option for. Love it. Would give more than 5 stars if that were an option just because of how nice this is.
We play this all the time when Im bored and its so fun and it feels like it never ends and all the characters are likable and the storyline is amazing we would love a sequel of sorts.
The app has started pausing every few minutes during gameplay, which is very frustrating. Also noticed that it makes our 12 Pro overheat, which this app never used to do. Truly hope there is an update to resolve these issues. Great storyline and fun game play.

Its constantly laggy at the worst times? We dont know if its a bug, if its because of the ads, or if for some reason thats just how the game is, but when trying to fish its extremely laggy. We couldnt even make it past the tutorial because it was just constantly lagging out & making it very difficult to get through the small bits of dialog, and then figure out where the fish were going, trying to aim our cast, if the fish were biting, etc. The app is updated because we just downloaded it, & it happens on both wifi & data. We dont know what to do, & we really want to love this, but its unplayable for us as is.
It's a sorta decent game, but we really don't like being defaulted to being a little white boy. Would have been nice to have been asked what gender we want to be. You can only become a woman of you pay??? And it only changes your appearance but not the dialogue where you're called little boy and he?? That's a bit messed up imo. Would rate higher if this game wasn't misogynistic.
Just buy the pass that gets rid of ads and gives unlimited bait right away. As long as you like the fishing mechanics youll love this game. This game is a great story about the afterlife and building relationships. Fishing is how you move the plot forward. Im on a road trip and probably put in 10 hours in the last week.
This game is very wholesome and heartfelt. We can tell a lot of love & fun was put into this game. We dont care much for the actual game mechanics of fishing but what made us love this game is the beautifully done pixel art and how the characters interact. The characters are also pretty funny. It was totally unexpected for a tiny bird to have that kind of personality haha. Love this game, Im so glad this is free mostly because the friendship part is probably very needed to some people. We might be projecting or something, but the characters seem very genuine with their enlightening values of friendship. It helps us reflect on what we have in our life and feel grateful :) we havent finished the game yet and || SPOILER || we just got to the Milky Way, on our way to the big galaxy fish! Lots of mini quests are popping up and we wanna finish those first.
This is fun at time for quests fishing. Good way to kill some time to play. Good app to realize stress to calm. Good memory for dreams.
10/10 would recommend for a pass time game, or just a game to get when youre bored lol.

Like the game and the concept. We have had a couple issues major issues. 1. Most of the rewards you get are for decorating your house. This aspect of the game is completely broken. We placed the first window we were given and have been unable to place anything else. 2. Sometimes the fish you are reeling in gets stuck on the bank and you cant get it to the center to pull it in. Losing fish this way is frustrating.
The fishing bundle and the coin boost $7.98 and neither happened. Please return our money as we are almost done with the game now.
Theyre all the best. Our top 2 favorite characters are Cat at the top, and Bear at 2nd. The cat is the most sweetest character Ive ever seen, and theyre so kind, they even Give you the boat They used to get to the island! Its kind. And we like that, Another good thing about the cat is, Theyre Great at making food! We mean, we do have bear but. The cat can be good at making food too! But anyways, like we said. 10/10. Would recommend. Also try bears restaurant too, it has a great storyline.
Granted we have not been playing long but this game is fantastic. Rpg meets action fishing game that is more than it seems . Few ads , no paywalls yet anyway . Pleasantly surprised as we rarely like fishing games.

Its a great game but one suggestion It would be cool if you could make your character in the beginning of the game (pppppllllleeeeeeeaaaaassssss aaaaaaaddddddd ).

This is a pretty good game but it wraps up too quickly.
The only thing we dont like is having to watch ads to replenish our bait or fishing bites as you call them for some reason. We all know theyre worms and the lil bird goes and gets them. We dont mind watching ads to replenish our bait, at all. Its just watching them too much. You get a MAX of only 12 bait and that goes away very very very quickly. You should up it to 30 and then we dont have to watch ads as often to replenish them. Other than that, theres virtually NO wait times when it comes to this game. Theres no Wait for your energy to replenish! Like in other games. Theres no Your bait will replenish every hour! Or The fish will come back in 20 minutes! Or You need more energy to do this! Or Your energy replenishes every hour! Or you get stuck somewhere farming for fish for money because you need a stronger rod to progress so for several days you just farm fish just to get the money. That doesnt happen in this game. Along with the fun fishing adventure, theres also a story. You meet people, make friends, fulfill requests for them, however, the game is not fully complete. We were able to complete the game in a little over 24 hours. There should definitely be more added to the game. For some reason we have blank black spots where fish we havent caught are in the little catalog book, but Ive spent a full hour at a fishing spot once randomly catching all the fish we can so that new ones can spawn in faster, and we NEVER found it. We dont know if they just havent been added to the game yet, or what. Also, the friends you make level up to 9 we think and once they get to that level theres this gray board that pops up and a green little sphere of energy or something is placed into one of the many indentations on the board. One hole for each friend. Im assuming once you level up each friend to level 9 and complete the board, something happens, but our friends had all stopped requesting things so we cant level them up anymore. We guess its not complete, but we dont know. We wish there was a reference. Overall, super great game, if youre on the fence about it, just go ahead and download it. This game is hours and hours of fun without being repetitive. Love it. EDIT 1+ year later: The cap for fishing bait has been increased to 15 from 12, which we did ask for an increase but this is pathetic, for which we took off a star for our review. We probably use up all 15 of our bait in about 3 minutes and you can watch an ad to fill it back up, but watching an ad every 3 minutes is too much. Not to mention there are ads for doubling fish rewards and a permanent banner at the bottom and random pop up ads that give no reward. So on top of having to watch an ad every 3 minutes to replenish your bait and continue playing, there are more ads than just that. So several ads in only 3 minutes. ONE ad every 3 minutes is too much let alone more than that. Occasionally you get a ticket from the lil birdy you can trade for bait but you dont get those tickets frequently enough to avoid watching lots of ads. We mean, you use the ticket, and you go through your bait in 3 minutes and then youre back to watching ads again. All free to play apps need a way to make money, and usually the answer to that is ads. But there are games out there that have done it much better than this one. Even without purchasing anything first and getting rid of the ads. The way ads have been set up in this game, it feels like a massive cash grab taking advantage of its players. Yes, free to play apps have ads. We know that. But not THIS many ads. And theyre generally less successful. Apps make more money from having less ads and a larger community than apps who have a boat load of ads and a small community that tolerates them. Just saying. Theres definitely more story than there is fishing in this game, but that doesnt bother us too much. There are things we could nitpick like, do you REALLY have to have a whole cutscene for the voice fades away we mean, when the cutscene ends we already assume that the voice is gone. We dont need you to tell us that it fades away and then end the cutscene. The voice being gone is already implied so thats just a huge waste of space and time right there. For EVERY single cutscene. Makes everything take just that much longer. If you look at it in the sense that its only an extra couple seconds each cutscene. But then you take into account that theres like 80 cutscenes, then that really adds up in total. We definitely think the dialogue could be a little less wordy and then the story wouldnt be so long and tedious but we feel like Im nitpicking there again. But Im not the only person who has said it. The story IS completely complete, now. So if you dont mind a bunch of ads then we would recommend it. But we probably wouldnt play this again. We feel like we spent years watching ads. Which we mean, if you play for 24 hours you will have watched nearly 500 ads at the very LEAST, if you replenish your bait by watching an ad every 3 minutes. Thats if you dont watch any other ads, and thats excluding the random pop up ads. Up to you.

This game is very cute and sweet. Im really enjoying playing, both for the calming fishing aspect and the intriguing storyline. Some of the events feel quite bittersweet and Im looking forward to seeing how everything pans out. The characters are interesting even if theyre limited. We would definitely recommend, and we plan on downloading the other games by these developers when we can! Update: Ive completed the game and Im going to move on to Bears Restaurant. We get the feeling Im playing them out of order…but its alright! The story moves smoothly independently and we really enjoyed how the characters adapted and grew. The ending made us smile; it went exactly how we hoped it would go, which was a wonderful surprise! We also dont normally listen to a games music, but this one made us curious enough that we turned up our volume and it was worth it. The music in space, especially, was beautifully done.

this is a really fun game. Our favorite characters are bianca & rosa oden cat charon and yuzo. We wonder if this took some inspiration from undertale because charon is pretty much the exact character of papyrus. Anyways its a great game and its even better if you play bears restaurant (the full game) first.
That lil bird ai really hated us so much that it called us a B.A.D word but we like this game and the graphics are soo coooool.
We found this game after playing the bear restaurant game, witch is our favorite game! And this game is soooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooood we are going to tell all our friends about both those games.
First off, we never write reviews. Like… NEVER. This is our first review haha. Anyways, this game is amazing. We first downloaded because we thought it looks cute. Oh our gosh we did not know what we were getting into. The characters are so well written, we got attached to them IMMEDIATELY. The graphics are beautiful and give us a sense of Pokmon nostalgia. The gameplay is so relaxing its like mixing Undertale, Animal Crossing, and Stardew Valley together. But instead of farming its fishing. The music!! Dont even get us started!! Some of the songs are so beautiful and calming that they put us right to sleep!! And the story is amazing. This is the PERFECT game. We almost cried when we finished it because we loved each and every character so much. Thank you so so so much for making this lovely game. It gave us a sense of safety, calm, and friendship during these days of quarantine. Whenever we play this game it feels like theres a warm ray of sunshine upon us while Im fishing on the beach with our Lil Birdy haha. So thank you. Thank you very much for creating something so beautiful. Dont let those bad reviews get you down because this is a masterpiece. Ah, if only this game wasnt an app and more like a full console game with more features haha. Anyways. Best game Ive ever played in our entire life. It brought tears to our eyes. This is coming from a bored 16 year old stuck in quarantine :) going to tell everyone we know to play this game now.
This game simply consumed our free time in the past few days. Its so charming, pretty and fun! We just reached the end and we cant help but feel sad about it. The story is very sweet and we liked how we got to gradually form deeper friendships with each character. Our only issues would be that some of the dialogue felt a bit excessive(the whole Johnny arc felt very, very tiring and stretched out) and the rocket arc was way too quick. We had barely started playing, and suddenly theres a rocket and all the characters(who we just met) are treating us like a super close friend? These issues are minor, though, and are mainly a matter of refining the narrative. We still enjoyed the story regardless. The fishing mechanics are very simple, and we must say we really liked how fast the worms fill back up. We always groan at games that set an energy timer because they are excruciatingly slow, obviously to encourage you to spent real money on it. With this game, however, it only takes 90 seconds for each worm to refill, and that was such a pleasant surprise. Within 20 minutes or so the worm bucket is full. The ads also were never intrusive in the gameplay, and we didnt mind at all using ads to refill the worm bucket. Unlike most games, theres no limit to how many times you can watch ads to do that, and it really made fishing more fun. With all this, It feels like the dev team really cared about the product they made and put a lot of passion into it. There were no pay to win mechanics and no push for micro transactions at all. We must say, you guys really impressed us.

For some reason we didnt play fishing Paradiso for a long time but when we finally did the magic came bag and the storyline is awesome. We finally caught the god fish and you know how he would give you anything you want we said if we were him we would of chose to get all the stuff maxed outbut that wouldnt make the game fun wouldnt it. ;) and the cat was Wright we can listen to the music all day. Really fun game. We love pixel graphics and we so enjoyed the storyline and mini backup stories to everyones character. We loved the cast! They were the true heart for the story. Im so glad we played Bears Restaurant first! We played it first by coincidence without knowing the story, but it made the characters a lot more enjoyable in the beginning because it was just a real enjoyment to see the characters that developed in a previous game appear once again and get fleshed out a bit more. Highly recommend this game! Its a must! One of our favorites ever.
Im so glad we discovered this game. It has a similar feel to some of the Kairosoft games which we LOVE. Its free to play, and there are timers, but you can skip them with an ad or remove the bait refill timer permanently with an inexpensive in-app purchase. We cant wait to check out their other games.
This game is very reminiscent of Stardew Valley. Im not sure if the devs were inspired by Stardew Valley, but the fishing mechanics bare a very slight similarity. Just slight. And the graphics as well bare a very slight similarity. Essentially, Im saying you guys did a great job by drawing inspiration instead of copying. You really managed to form a unique and cute story that is truly original. The dialogue is a little finicky; by this, we mean the grammar is fine, nothing spectacular. Its usually fine 85% of the time. This doesnt really taint our experience in all honesty. Im unsure as to whether the people who scripted the dialogue are English, so its fine by us. Overall, this game is very cute. And the in app purchases are pretty reasonably priced Id say. We would say the beginning of the story is a bit of a slow start, but after that Id say the dialogue is necessarily placed. Thank you devs for a great story, keep up the good work! Also, we have to mention the music. ITS GREAT AND ORIGINAL AND we LOVE IT IM NOT SURE WHY THE MUSIC IS EXCITING ME SO MUCH BUT we JUST REALLY LOVE IT.
Ive been playing this game for a while and its worth your time! Its SUCH a great game! It has such an original storyline, and nice, classic graphics. If you are wondering if you should download this game, you DEFINITELY should! One little thing we would love added into this game is if you could customize your character and give it a name. Also you should be able to decide which gender your character is, since Im a girl. Also, this is our first time rating an app, so sorry if this is bad ~Kyla.

Ive been playing this game since it came out and ive seen all the updates and what its done. Ive just LOVED it. Ive just slowly been completing it since forever. And we JUST completed it today like a year later. Its the one app we never deleted and the stories are always so amazing and we couldnt have asked for a better game to fall in love with. Ive literally downloaded all of your apps youve made and just binged them all. We cant even explain how much fun ive had just fishing really. The tasks and getting all the friendship stones were just really great. We loved it. We just wanted to cry when it was over it was just that great. 100% recommend.
We never write reviews but this game almost brought us to tears. Everything about this game is amazing; the story, the illustration, the gameplay, the music, and the characters are all amazing. You can tell the developers poured their heart and soul into this game. The game is visually stunning; every location has beautiful graphics that are paired with beautiful music. Every single character has layers. They are constructed beautifully. You get connected to each and everyone of them and their stories. There is more but this is getting too long Long story short- amazing game that we cant recommend enough. 20/10.
We love this retro-style game. Very nastolgic content. Storyline is odd, but thats subjective. 5* game. But if we could choose a couple to a few things to be added IMO would be: have an option to sit down in chairs/sleep in bed when you click on it, possibly dimming the light and carrying onto the next day or something idk any kind of scene would work. Also, it would be cool if it showed how much time you put into the separate places to fish since some gamers prefer certain levels over others. Those are our opinions. Just keep track of your times and stuff. Love this game and will keep playing it. 5***** game right here fellas.
