Sayonara Wild Hearts is a dreamy arcade game about riding motorcycles, skateboarding, dance battling, shooting lasers, wielding swords, and breaking hearts at 200 mph.
As the heart of a young woman breaks, the balance of the universe is disturbed. A diamond butterfly appears in her dreams and leads her through a highway in the sky, where she finds her other self: the masked biker called The Fool.

Wow, just started playing, and Im already drawn in by the story, the colors, the music, and the gameplay. This game is beautiful. We may not even be that good at it, but even replaying levels is interesting.
The music and art of this game always get us emotional. We played it during a breakup period in our life and now we associate this game with the idea of getting better. The soundtrack is excellent and is streaming on Apple Music. We highly recommend giving it a listen after you experience the game. The gameplay is good but we dont play for the revolutionary gameplay. We came for the for audio/visual experience and we are not disappointed.
This game is absolutely beautiful. The colors, graphics, music, and plot are just stunning. Everything about it is perfect and we wish everyone who worked on this masterpiece a lifetime of happiness.

This is an amazing game we love the visuals our only nitpick would be that the touch controls could stand to be a bit more sensitive.
This game. This. Game. You will not regret downloading this. Its a bit flashy but not too bad we think, the soundtrack is BRILLIANT, the game design, the story, the colors Idk, Im obsessed. And we downloaded it almost two years ago so thats saying something!
This game is amazing. It has great visuals, music, and gameplay. It is challenging while still being relaxing, which is weird. The only downside is that it doesnt pick up that much on the storyline until the end of the game. Its final level was one of the great experiences we have ever had. Begin again was our favorite level, and we cant stop playing the level on repeat; just like we do for basically all levels. The music was so good, and it isnt even our type of music. Over all, it is an absolutely amazing game that everyone should play!

Hands down one of the best games we’ve ever played. The music, the graphics, the controls, everything is pristine and very old fashioned, like reminds us of a game youd play on the 80s/90s. Though it may not be for everyone we loved it. Also trust me~ we were really bad at first but as you play you get really good and every level is different in looks, and the songs are all unique and cool.
This game has such a cool art style, and the music is so good and the gameplay is just so fun, we could play for hours.
We can still recall trudging through the cold December snow So begin again is by far our favorite song and level and our second favorite song and level would be ours also we think that its cool that It has its own playlist and also THIS GAME IS AWESOME we couldnt have asked for a better game thank you so so so much!
There is nothing we could have read to prepare us for this experience. We cant even begin to describe just how incredible this is. You just need to play a few levels to understand what a masterpiece this is.
This game is absolutely a love letter to humanity. We’ve been playing games our whole life and every so often a vision comes along that simply has no precedent. This game is that; the sound design, flow, overt animations, and fast pace are everything you could ask for in a mobile game. We love it. Truly. Devs, enjoy the 5 stars of which you earned every one.
This game is super enjoyable, so long as you have a controller paired with your device. The touch controls are absolutely abysmal, but once youre able to connect a controller, the whole game opens up.
So yasssssss is what we’ve been saying about this game. It has amazing music, geometrical graphics, and a rich storyline. We cant wait to finish the game. One little thing, though. The controls are very slow but not as bad as you might think. So whoever is looking for a good game to play, get Sayonara Wild Hearts!

Love the music and aesthetics but it’s clunky on mobile. Even at high sensitivity you need to drag your finger across the entire horizontal screen for many levels. Tap to move would have been a better option. Also the screen shake, ugh, why did the developer think excessive screen shake was a great idea?
Dunno, we were playing the second level of the game until it brought us back to the main menu. We given up on playing the game after that. Wouldnt recommend.
You shouldnt have to sync a controller to your phone to make a game enjoyable.
This review is quite long we like the idea of rhythm games but Im not good at them. The same goes for sayonara wild hearts (SWH), that being said, WOW, amazing, brilliant, beautiful, stunning game. The story is original and not convoluted, nobody speaks but the narrator so far but the story is easy to parse. The levels are long enough to be satisfying but short enough to squeeze in on a short commute. The levels are very busy visually but it works so well because they are short. We have adhd so its hard for us to focus on games for a while without getting bored, but SWH makes them so engaging and fun to look at that we cant look away. The game has much replayability for two reasons in our opinion. One, the controls are challenging in a good way but eventually masterable. And two, they are so artistically good to look at. This is the type of game where every frame is its own work of art. And the narrator!!! Im not sure who she is but there is something about her voice that pulls at our heart. No matter how badly we did hearing the announcer proudly announce our rank make us feel awesome. If the smash announcer is ever changed we nominate whoever says your rank at the end of the levels. Our only gripe and one that is not worthy of taking the game down to 4 stars. Is that the controls are not as responsive as we would like. Sometimes we feel like the player character is not moving as much as they should with the distance we swipe on the screen and that we sometimes have to swipe two times all the way across the screen to get them to move a little bit. Again, this is not something that takes down our review to 4 stars. If youve gotten this far… What are you doing?? Download this game!!
Someone said the mobile game will never bring an experience you enjoyed on PC. Thats absolutely wrong on Sayonara Wild Heart. The art, the music, and various gaming modes, plus collections and riddles, finally make an almost perfect game on iPhone. We will say most 3A games on Steam cannot give us such a comprehensive experience like Sayonara. All in all, many games like it only cost 5$ in Arcade. Good job APPLE!
One of the most intense and calming game we ever played all the animation was awesome.

We have every game system, ps5, psvr, series s, switch, and yet this game is so good that it makes it into our top 10 favorites list, we love the music, story, and art style. Its perfect and worth every penny for Apple Arcade just to play this.
Sayonara Wild Hearts is one of the most engaging and beautiful indies we have ever played. Its mix of fluid movement and catchy beats made us feel as if we were in a calming and surreal dream. The controls are intuitive enough. Sometimes it felt like the stock sensitivity was just way too slow. Thankfully after we changed it we were able to play perfectly fine. The QTE bits that we were worried about felt… Well… Like they werent out of place or slowed the pace of the game. We did a couple of times wonder why you couldnt tap anywhere when the prompts appeared. We felt like our hand got in the way of many beautiful animations. Graphics and music is where this game really excels though. There were many times we found myself jaw a gape and humming along with the incredibly palpable soundtrack. Though a funny mental image it really is a testament of how this game really bends your mind to its will. Though we had a few gripes with the controls it wasnt a big enough problem to hold the game at fault. We still find myself humming the soundtrack to myself and believe that this game will be around for a while. We believe in its staying power. Its a beautiful reminder of how poignant indies can truly be. Thank you for such a great and memorable experience.
Sayonara Wild Hearts is a beautiful game about a woman who finds herself traveling through space after a major heartbreak. The soundtrack is incredible and compliments the fast gameplay so well and we’ve fallen more and more in love with this game since the first time we played it. Its helped us through a time where we’ve started to slow down due to the repetition of school, but Sayonara Wild Hearts has helped us find our groove again.
We just wanted to take a quit note that this game IS compatible with controller the game dev just did not say that.
This game is 10/10. The most artistic, fun to play, relaxing, and colorful mobile game we have ever played. The best visuals and music you will find in a mobile game. Hands down in love with this.
Dont look away, cause once you start you cant. Youll experience all the thrill of guitar hero, and 10 times the magic.
This game is absolutely beautiful. The songs were fantastic and characters fit perfectly. Some rounds were a little difficult but we were able to finish the whole game in an hour. One improvement that could be made is the swiping. It was a little difficult to get the character to move where you want it in time. There seemed to be a delayed reaction on some levels. We spent most of the time figuring out ways to get past this. Another improvement would be to put a start sign on the screen when the level has started. There were times when we didnt even realize the level had started due to how smooth the transitions from storyline to gameplay were.

We dont know who taped our childhood and adolescent dreams and made a game out of them, but Id like our cut please. Although Im kidding about our cut, Im serious about the rest. Its astounding to us. We used to put on headphones on a car ride and run through the trees, hills and cityscapes we drove through. We knew we were daydreaming but it felt real. Music was our escape, and those daydreams were inspired by our actual dreams. Flying, running and jumping great distances were ordinary pastimes. Leaving our body and floating up to the snow even though it was summer in reality was a touching experience, though we knew it was only a dream. The flying ship with the floating islands which were outlined as clouds… This brings it all back. Thank you for reminding us how free we used to feel! We were brought to tears by level 3. This is, indeed, the work of Strong Creatives. Dont lose that edge, guys! Also, our cat would like a sequel. He likes the bright lights. (What? Oh.) And the deer. Sayonara.
We’ve played a lot of phone games, but that one literally made us cry when we finished because the story was amazing! (I also cry over everything) But this game was an amazing game and totally worth the frustrating bits.
Let us start off by saying we hardly ever do reviews but this game here is amazing! It has nostalgic feels, its never boring, the music is amazing and Queen Latifah even the narrator. We mean come on guys our jaw is still on the ground. This is one of the best games we have ever played our iPhone… Heck on any of our game systems as well. Great job developers!! Awesome game, this is coming from a 90s baby whose favorite game ranges from Donkey Kong Country, Call of Duty and everything in between!

This game is perfect. Especially the impressive graphics. Beautiful. The fast paced motion is fun and at times, enduringly challenging. The one problem is we cant seem to hear the music, but we wont take stars away since our device has had numerous problems with audio.
It is the most wonderful game we’ve ever played, good music, good image. But the operation is not convenient, sometimes,I feel we just hold it,and it plays itself.
Our parents bought us a Sega Genesis when we were a child and spending thousands of dollars on systems and games myself since then, we’ve come to realize that we have been kind of bored of them in our older age. We havent had this much fun with one in a while and only wish we could hold a physical copy in ma grabbers. This is the only thing on the Apple Arcade we care about.
We experienced no issues while playing this game and Im in love with the music!!! There was so much adrenaline in our body while playing this it was crazy! We swear Im not a bot or getting paid we just genuinely love this game so much.
