The Haunted Hotel series is our newest favorite HOP game. By far! We think Im late to the party here, but these games are soooo fun! They are creepy, and we LOVE creepy! The crazy ghosts whose limbs move in impossible directions and the random screaming of some lady always scares us and we love it! Lol. The graphics are supreme, the story line is fun, the puzzles are sometimes hard, and the hint system is amazing. One of the games wouldnt work on our iPad, Haunted Hotel 15: Alexander Valentine, but other than that, zero complaints, just praise. One of THE best series out there. Bravo.
We got all the way to the end and was missing the giants fingernail. We tried tapping everywhere and nothing worked. We went on YouTube and got confirmation of the correct location of this item, but when we tapped on it, the closeup of the rocks where its supposed to be hidden wouldnt open. We even tried closing and reopening the game. Unfortunately, it was impossible to finish the game without this item and we didnt want to start over at that point. We really hate leaving games unfinished, but there was no other choice in this case.
We are towards the end of the game and we cant get the nail because of a glitch in the game. Unfortunately we have emailed support many times and we have not gotten any help when it comes to resolving this issue. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.
Glitchy. We cant retrieve the giants fingernail. Hint redirects us to the area if we move out of the scene. Scene is unresponsive, including hint, etc. Game was ok until this.
Let us start by saying that we absolutely LOVE every Elephant game Ive ever played. We have no complaints at all regarding the games, although not too long ago we sent an email and got a very rapid reply regarding our not being able to play the games because of the new update. What we forgot to ask in our email to you was if this is going to be a permanent problem or not, regarding the games Ive already purchased? Will we never be able to play those again? Or is this just a temporary problem with a fix in the near future? We would really appreciate a reply. Thank you for your time. – A dedicated fan.
The story was good but the game had so many glitches…it was so annoying. We didnt see anyone else having this issue reported. For example Id be playing HOP game or clicking on scenes & it would freeze. We couldnt do anything & our only option was to kill the game on our iPad Pro & launch it again & again. It was beyond frustrating. We bought this game because we love haunted hotel series, enjoy playing these games for fun & this game was a fun killer. So for that reason Im giving such low rating. Needless to say Ive wasted our $7.
The graphics are great and storyline. It is way to short and the puzzles were not very difficult. We enjoyed it but it is way to short.
This one didnt feel as short as the rest have been. Not disappointed.

Usual collectibles and morphing objects. The scenes in odd land with the deep pink purple coloring were difficult to see anything and did not keep our interest at all. The length was fine for us just kept our interest in only part of the game. Not a favorite. Your last few were fun play, more of those please.
Although we generally like this series, we felt that this game was not innovative or unique in any way, manner or form. The HO scenes were boring, and most of the puzzles/games were either overly simplistic, of the rotational genre, or quite ordinary. At least there was a maze. However, the actual gameplay was fairly enjoyable. The graphics were blurry and lacked visual acuity. This game was extremely short, inclusive of the bonus adventure. What we did notice was that there were elements of this game that were reminiscent of Mad Head. The creepy little girl, the maniacal clown, and the spider-like giant creatures were all featured in games developed by Mad Head. The storyline was even similar. Horror is not our favorite sub-genre, but we dont mind if the game is excellent, which was not the case here. The game ran smoothly, without any flaws or glitches. Our actual rating will be 3.5 stars, because we found this game only slightly better than average. We feel it didnt merit the hefty price tag. We wish Elephant would give us another Detectives United or Surface. They also need to increase the length of their games. Lynxie wishes everyone a happy gaming experience.
For $7 Id like longer gameplay or at least an introductory sale price. We still recommend this one though.
