How to Play

・Tap the Taiko drum in sync with the notes!

Each tap will be scored as GOOD, OK, or BAD depending on how well timed it is to the music note.

Community Insight:

We love it sooooo much. Very joyful and fun.

We love this game, we love playing it and we loved playing it on other devices before! Im so glad its on the iPhone now, but we do have one problem, there is a taiko no tatsujin mini game in one of the games in the Yakuza series and we think it would be amazing to add a Yakuza game karaoke song into this, that would be a dream! Thank you for taking the time to read this review.

We have this game on the switch and we wanted to try it out on our phone. Obvious thing we noticed was the lack of songs. Everything else is very good tho. We just wish u added more songs like silent jealousy and no turning back.

Your phone works fine. Its the apps audio that doesnt work.

You guys really did a good job, we just want to tell you guys that. We have been playing this game since we were 9 and because it was so fun we continued playing! Thank you for creating this game, we love it and you guys are amazing, and everyone who hates it is a troll. Thank you ^^ :).

This game is awesome like the arcade versions but here in the App Store it displays someone playing the fnaf theme (toreador) and we personally think that is a bit of false advertising. Could you please add that to the actual game, it would mean a lot.

We really wish this game could have more songs.

We are a big Osu! Fan on the PC never really got into Taiko but saw this and figured Id give it a try. We were not disappointed this is a really fun rythm game with a good selection of music and looks like more is being added too! We highly recommend this if you like rythm games.

The variety of songs is great. Maybe add some JoJo openings.

Going into this we just expected a cheap mobile cash in on the franchise, but this may actually be one of our favorite ways to currently play the franchise now that the actual peripheral is so hard to get. The controls are super tight, and the soundtrack is insane. We audibly laughed while going through the songs at how insane the track list is. 5/5, would definitely recommend.

Can you guys make this fully compatible with the Roland Taiko-1? Or is it already? Also this may be blasphemy to some but could you translate the in-game talking to other languages? Song request: any thing by the artist, two fingers.

This game is a lot of fun. It is really good if your bored and dont have anything to do. Its got a wide variety of songs and are still more coming. Overall, this game is a lot of fun and we highly recommend it.

For fans of Rhythm Games and the Taiko Pop series of games. Fun and diverse songs and different drum kits to unlock, also has character (drum) customization! Different difficulties for all levels. Unfortunately, currently has small selection of songs compared to games of series past, and fans will be left wanting to play using their drum peripheral. If you dont have a PlayStation to play the original, this is a fun alternative.

So we were playing the game after seeing the mobile trailer and the game itself was missing the song that was in the trailer and so we cant find the song if anyone knows where it is tell us.

For some reason we have to have the switch on the side of our phone turned on to play the game. Because of that, every notification we get distracts us and turns down the music.

The game is really fun but the lack of songs make the game boring for some people because playing the same song will get boring really quickly it would be better if you add more song. Some recommendations: metal gear rising, undertale. All we can think of rn thanks for reading.

We do enjoy the game and how the songs are really good. We enjoy this game a lot. But we wish there was a story mode or mini games as well as some shop to buy some rare skins. Theres no mission or goal. It kind of lets u play whatever. To spend $4 a month to play this, we expected at least a story mode. The online battles dont work at all unless your friends play it too (which is rare). Great game, but we wish they had more stuff to do on it.

We played nonstop for several weeks, including the new songs. Now every time we open the app, after the loading page the screen goes dark and nothing happens anymore.

Please add we dont talk about Bruno from Encanto.

As the title says this game definitely is the runner-up for one of the best rhythm games of all time Ive never played the original version however this game perfectly translates into the mobile spectrum with plenty of levels not only that but this game is filled with Japanese culture overall we give it a 5/5.

We tap along to everything without even thinking about it. Taiko is a dream come true. Now, instead of, Matt, stop tapping, Im getting graded on our skills. Tsugaru Kaikyu Fuyugeshiki and Dont Doubt This Love are our two favorite songs. We really like this particular genre of anime art, which only helps- way better than the serious fare. We think this is worth anyones time.

Ez difficulty is more ez than we thought we got everything right on a game song.

This is good. But we want the undertale. Us want the megalovania. Please give.

Isint this the game mode from osu.

Taiko is already one of our favorite music games of all time and to see it come to mobile is amazing. The song list is great although they could add more songs besides this it is amazing, being able to play one of our favorite music games on the go.

For some reason, ANPANMANS MARCH has these levels: Easy: 2 Normal: 1 Hard: 5 Extreme: 1.

We absolutely love the game. Only issue is that when hitting the note the drum sound does not sound. We tried everything to get the sound back. Music plays fine, its just the hearing the drum hit is ruining our experience.

This was our first time we played this game and we really enjoyed it. But Theres one downside. NO MINIGAMES. Yeah we know, this is only a mobile game. But probably every version of Taiko no Tatsujin has a mini game mode. So we beg you. ADD A MINIGAME MODE.

The game itself is super fun, love the arcade and switch versions so when we saw the app we had to get it. The controls are good and the song selection is okay (in our opinion). However after like a week or two the game just stopped playing. The loading screen comes on but once it finishes loading the screen turns black :( Ive tried reinstalling the app but nothing Ive tried has fixed it. Really sad that we cant play so 3 stars for the technical difficulty but still a great game if you can play it.

We have Apple Arcade and when we go to open the game it gets through the loading screen where you see the drum go across and fill up the bar but as soon as that happens the game goes dark and we see it say that youre logged in to your apple ID but nothing happens after that. We have only been able to open it and play it once but that was when we first downloaded the game. Ive restarted our phone, Ive closed the game and reopened it, Ive reinstalled it, and we still get nothing. If yall have a solution Im all ears and for now Im rating it 2 stars. SOS.

Game sounds are bugged. Cant hear anything. Please fix and Ill change our review.

Ive been playing the Nintendo Switch version of this for 5 months and when we found this out, we went nuts and downloaded it very shortly after. This game is a blast but it loses its momentum for some time because of the lack of songs. Songs like 1 2 3, Alola, Undertale Song Pack, and others could be added in an update for free, or as a DLC. This game is generally fun so the only problem we could find was its lack of songs, coming on in about only 30 songs.

We really like it, but we think something that everyone would like is characters, like on the switch. Id really liked that, and we think other people would like it. You could hav Kirby and other fun characters. Its kinda boring to play as the same taiko character every time. So can you at least add one? Please? Thx for reading this review! (Edit: can u add freeplay?).

Marvelous! Its either ayahuasca or this.

We love it but when we try opening the app it wont let us in the game and we dont know why.

Why arent there more songs on here lol this game is super fun and we wish there were just more things to play or a way to free play and make your own beats to tap along to.

Yoooo add some naruto songs, its all you missin.

The game was cool But we were in the special we try the perfect.

The 3×2 new layouts are great if ur used to playing taiko via controllers, and lends much better on iPhones. Drip feeding of songs arent the best, but better than average quality of song selection at least, for this series.

We wish this game had a better selection of music/songs. We realistic only play 3 songs through this whole game. Every other song seen/ to be out of place and the drum do not really match up with the rhythm of the music/songs. We really enjoy this game tho.

If hard and extreme were actually on beat with the song.

So Ive been playing this game for a while and its great! Our only problem is that Im missing notes even though Im tapping the taiko at the right time. We can still hit the balloons though. Other than that (rather big problem) its an amazing game.

We know this game has been released on numerous platform but it feels like this version is the one with the least attention. This game is fun but just repetitive. Pros: Fun song choices, cute character (or marshmallow lol) customization, levels are significantly different so each level doesnt feel the exact same, simple controls Cons: Songs get really repetitive especially trying to unlock things, newer update gives soooo many costumes and not enough different sounds, new song added very sparingly, match up online take forever so youll find you rarely match with anyone Suggestions: Song updates maybe biweekly and maybe you can have a little vote for the newer songs idk, faster online match ups or just change the whole online match up, MORE DRUM SOUND OPTIONS LESS COSTUMES All and all the game is fun but its something pull play a lot of at first then it almost feels like the piano tile game, you only pick it up if youre bored. See how well its done on other platform and how this version is behind a paywall its sorta lack luster.

Its slow and there nothing good about it.

Fun game if you can actually hear it. We went through the reviews and apparently this no sound issue is an ongoing problem. We were able to play for a few days and than opened one day to no sound. We uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. What good is a rhythm game if you literally cant hear the rhythm?!!! SMH! Developer fix this issue.

We can cast the training session via airplay But once the game starts , airplay on tv only shows blue screen we can still hear sound on tv. But blue screen on tv. Once we return to iOS Home Screen , it shows correctly in tv . But when return to game starts only blue screen on tv.

Hi again! We are once again requesting that you add Kyary Pamyu Pamyus music to your game. We suggest maybe the song Invader Invader? Thank you.

We doubt your going to see this request but we would like to ask for a few new songs to be added such as AOT and Naruto songs. We would also like some songs from bands such as Van Halen and Pink Floyd. Thanks for looking at this if you did. BYEEE.

The songs in this game are so good.
