Community Insight:

Cant believe more people havent played this game. It is a ton of fun, solid controls, great graphics, and free. Reminds us of one of our favorite NES games, Solar Jetman, just this is much better. Check it out.

Ignore the review about the terrible controls. This is how the actual REAL LIFE physics of LEMs work. We are a big nerd for physics simulators (KSP, Simple Rockets, Space Simulator, etc.) and immediately downloaded this game (glad that there is a test run in the form of the lite version). We quickly became familiar with the concept, and we LOVE the challenge of the realistic physics, and having to balance main descent thrust to fight gravity, and also use the RCS to counteract the rotation to land safely. The only criticism we can offer is that, we too, feel that the dialogue can be slow moving, and it would be nice to have the option to skip it on retries. We also like the idea of re-fueling stations, on the surface (perhaps 1 station per level, and maybe a trade off between refueling, and stars achieved, for more of a challenge?). We hope that the dev will make a larger sequel that incorporates more vehicles, and also the concept of atmospheric exit and re-entry, so that the player will have the varied experience of atmospheric drag vs. The vacuum of a typical lunar body, that is the main concept, in this game. To the dev – keep up the great work, and we will certainly buy more of your apps! This game is an 11 on a scale of 1-10, as far as we are concerned. Thanks for giving us something to do during pandemic isolation.

Pro fun game Con If thees are Galilean moons why is there a blue gaze instead of Jupiter? You shud add that.

While we agree with others that say the game needs instructions and that it is difficult, these drawbacks do not detract from the basic fact that this is an awesome game. Its not about flashing lights and noise, but is simple, ad-free fun as you learn how to control your ships, rescue people, and return safely.

PRO: Fun little game, realistic physics using lunar gravity and space vacuum, dialogue adds a nice taste, no ads, affordable if you purchase the additional levels, able to drive different vehicles, hours of fun. CONS (mostly suggestions, still a fun game): Dialogues and controls should appear near sides of the screen for easy thumb use…rather than the middle of the screen, makes it harder on an ipad horizontal screen. Missions are near impossible to get 3 stars with multiple secret people to find and no fuel fill-ups. Radar range is too short and still doesnt project all the solid areas until youre near…annoying, especially when it makes you believe there is an opening.

Worth the download! No advertisements either.

Once you learn controls, it is a blast! Very addicting. Love the different vehicles you can fly/drive to complete a mission. As mentioned by others, it is very difficult to get three stars. Looking forward to future updates.

The sand box cost And level 2 is basically impossible but its great.

Transport platform closing doors after landing, impossible to get out on or get in on the rover. Please fix it or refund $1.99. Game is awesome.

Thanks. We're an OGLG-Ol' Guy Lander Guy….Good controls, good mission for free. Appreciate it.

This has a lot of potential. Not perfect but well thought out versus a lot of the games on the Internet. Would love to see more challenges with other space vehicles.

Ive been playing for a couple days now and finally got the hang of flight, however, we cant get 3 stars ever. We complete each mission without crashing or resetting but it keeps saying Im not picking up ppl? Im confused. We stop at each site as the radar indicates and everyone in the little buildings comes out and get on the LEM. It still says we have zero ppl picked. No idea why. Any suggestions.

This game is really well design and fun to play. It also has a bit of dialogue which makes missions a bit more interesting. Our only issues are theres no full size map so you may get lost and the rover physics is crazy unrealistic. Overall Id say this game is totally worth $2.

We love the game the controlls for the lander are inverted that makes it hard to control is ur new but the only thing in our opinion is hard is finding the stranded astronauts but other than that its a great game.

We liked it a lot but the free level has a few bugs that made it stressful to play. We love the mechanics though. Bugs: 1. Stuck controls. For example, you fire a thruster and it doesn't stop no matter what, causing you to spin off into the wall 2. Strange landing mechanic. Sometimes during landing it will skip ahead into the story and take away your controls. Basically it's congratulating you for making it safely, your controls are removed, and you crash because of it. So you lose.

The game is a very fun game. We just wish 2/3 of the game wasnt behind a pay wall.

Good game just a few bugs here and there but this game could be 100x better in the future and add some more available space for the sandbox stuff.

Its a fun game but theres no way to mute the game sound?? You can mute music but not sound? Why.

Beautiful looking game. Im pretty good at these kind of games, but honestly cant get past the first level after the initial landing. Dial down the difficulty a little.

Fun game, controls are very sensitive which make the smaller lander difficult. Definitely one for the physics gamers out there.

1, every time we leave the game and want to get back onto where we were it restarts the whole level. 2, The landers is a super hard fly. So can you please fix those things in a new update.

We highly recommend this game if youre a fan of the lunar lander game mechanic. Pros: good physics, plot is a nice touch, different vehicles, affordable price. Cons: pacing can be slow. Id like to see the Astronauts move faster or give us the option to skip it. The dialogue is also slow to get rid of when you just want to restart a level. Bug: occasionally, you may enter a landing area, and the dialogue box pops up before youve landed, which disables the controls, causing you to crash. Sometimes the mystery astronauts run away from the vehicle. Suggestion: if these are the Galilean moons, why not show Jupiter in the sky instead of a random blue haze.

We have a hard time trying to even complete a mission. Also can you make the sandbox mode free.

We liked this game but it was SO hard to control.

Gladly be a five star game if those little tanks everywhere could be used for refueling.

Please fix bug that causes Module to break when its just sitting on the transporter during flight. You cant get 3 stars on this level due to this issue and there is no way to fly the transporter that doesnt result in the lander spontaneously breaking. Ive achieved 3 stars on every level in this game so we know how to fly properly and yet this level cant be done. Can only achieve 3 stars due to this issue.

A cheap game, but not much to do for free. Levels indicate stars that should be obtainable, but have yet to find out how. First level is free but youll have to buy the other 2 Id recommend a menu section or part of the intro level explaining how to get level stars or other challenges.

Why did they give you like the most delicate space correct in the universe like a little touch of the ground and your lunar lander whatever its called just explodes we really want you to fix that please do.

Everything is so fragile and it is so annoying.

Its great we really liked it Maybe a bit cheesy but there just wasnt enough unless you where willing to buy it which we absolutely despise.

The game is mediocre at best and the controls should be changeable and easier to use.

We hate that you have to pay for a lot of the game.

They swap left and right rotation on purpose to make it more difficult. No option to reverse it. Firing main thrusters is 2 buttons that must be pressed together. These also control rotation. Sometimes you fire your RCS before the main fires. This causes you lander to tilt constantly. When you try to recover the rotation controls are backwards. Deeply annoyed we paid $2 for this terrible game.

We really like the realistic flight and the level of difficulty is just right. However there are absolutely no instructions without which its impossible to know what to do to advance the game. We got through levels one and two but it wont let us go on. We paid for the Sandbox but other than being able to move various pieces of equipment there seems to be no objective. This would be a 4- or even 5-star game if it just had some instructions.

This game is fun but the controls Are to difficult we can never do a thing because the ship wont let us 1 star.

One part it break NON ROCKETSCIENCE.

Too bad the bug on level 6 will not you land without crashing. In that case you must pay for the sandbox to use it. The only way to get the sandbox for free is to beat all 6 levels. Seems like this is done purposely. We paid for the sandbox but we will not pay for anything else after this apparent trickery.
