Was expecting less of an app like this but its actually possible to win, they give generous amounts of free plays, and have a way to get free shipping (once a week). They even have practice machines you can use for free to get better. Honestly pretty fair and very fun.

We really enjoy TokyoCatch and have spent quite a bit of money because the Assist feature and overall gameplay are fun and rewarding. However, Ive repeatedly run into a frustrating issue where the game freezes mid-session, the crane buttons turn grey, the Add Gems button doesnt respond, and theres no timer before Im suddenly removed from the machine. Ive recorded multiple sessions showing this happening with a steady connection and FPS, but support keeps calling it insufficient gems, even though the buttons simply stop working. We dont expect a refund for every case, but we hope the team seriously looks into this problem so players dont lose turns or assists due to app errors. When it works, the game is great. We just want it to be consistent and fair.
The prizes are winnable, watch others before you play. Learn how each game is suppose to be played. Not all plushies move the same and neither do the action figure boxes even when they are similar sizes. As for other games that use a decoy item to play with, same goes. Watch and learn then play. The free shipping is amazing, we wouldnt play if it werent for it. Has a bit of a learning curve but if you give it time to watch and learn first, this app is great. If it were any easier it wouldnt exist.
The newest update is not good. We thought we were on the web by the looks of it and things are so very hard to find that you want to find now :( we hadnt been ripped off by them in a while until this bad update and now Im just getting kicked out of our games every few turns. Its so frustrating. We have played for a long time, and loved this game! But IF YOU DO NOT RECORD YOUR PLAYS AND ANYTHING GOES WRONG, FORGET GETTING YOUR MONEY/GEMS BACK. Wish they hadnt updated it. Was our favorite crane app. Would give 5 stars if it werent for money loss from kick outs & terrible app update.
Its upsetting when half of the coins we spent with our own money get wasted because of connection issues. We tried so hard to avoid it by refreshing the live every time but it still happens. Ive lost a lot because of this. Been playing this app for almost two months and so far we've only won 2 items.
The prizes are always updating and the games are neither too easy or too difficult. The assists kick in at 20 consecutive plays, which feels fair. The prize selection is great, we often receive plushies and figures that are difficult to buy online before our friends can get ahold of them. They always arrive in good condition in a timely fashion as well. (This means a lot to us, as other apps can take months to a year to arrive.) The staff are friendly and helpful every time we have had an issue with the app. We suggest recording your plays to help them when an error occurs.
Its fun but now im just waiting for it to ship to us before we spent again.
The prizes are pretty annoying to get if you dont want to spend a lot of money. Ive spent a total of we think $15 and only one one prize so far, but theres a free daily ticket (for playing machines) if you spend over $12.
The game is always glitching it has so many bugs and is always delayed.
Its not fair we catch but it doesnt say we won.
This app is a scam we tried about 1,000 times and didnt get even one prize the claw in the claw machine didnt even work.
Im not sure how the app was when it was 4 years ago but now, personally, we love it so much im obsessed The prices can be pretty pricey on the app but on the website its a bit more..less pricey. The support team is very very fast, professional and nice we love this app and prizes.

Genuinely the best crane game app Ive played. It has a fantastic suite of prizes, the games are fair and actually skill based (for the most part), and its really easy to get use to/adjust to the lag that comes standard with all of these apps. Now a word of caution. Its still a crane game, so it has an low barrier to entry, but like all crane games, requires you to develop the skills and knowledge to get good. If you want to get into it, we suggest you watch some YouTube videos on the matter first. All together, 10/10 if you like crane games. So if you dont have a irl location near you, this scratches the itch.
TokyoCatch is an amazing claw game. Ive been playing for a while now and we were able to win all these cool prizes. The amazing thing is that the prize actually gets shipped to your door it is NOT a scam. TokyoCatch also makes the shipping free! So basically the only thing you need to do is claw the prize out. Definitely a good claw game it just takes time.
We Cant tell you enough of how we love this game, however coming from a third-world country the prizes take a long time to send Ive sent out over 5 different boxes of shipments and none have shipped we. We shipped these prizes on the 1st of January and its almost march and none have even shipped out.. Its a fun crane game and prizes are probably real. But Im unsure if its worth the money.
We dont understand how people dont know by now how these crane machines work? They are set up for you to win after X amount of tries. We have won like legit 50 prizes from this app no joke lol. We like to accumulate them so they get shipped together and we have to pay less often :) Also the 2 times Ive had issues with the crane not moving Ive opened a dispute and within less than 24 hrs we get a response and am reimbursed of our ticket/gems :) Best app imo, better than Toreba lol.
Ive lost about $10 in micro-transactions from this game due to the frame rates dropping to 10-20 fps AFTER pressing the play button, thus locking you in to using your gems and wasting them on a machine that has a -5 second response time. Have tried to reach out to support multiple times and have heard nothing. This is essentially the same as gambling, save your money.
Waste of time most of the games are near impossible to win.
We along with many others have experienced malfunctioning plays, and the workers of this app will not credit your gems back after reporting the play. They will not acknowledge that there is anything wrong with the play and will refuse what ever you say, even if you show proof of a malfunction during the game round. In order for this app to get a 5 Star review they need to work on their system for reporting plays or hire new staff.
We used to love this game. Now they scam you with claws that stop moving immediately after purchase. Throw the whole game away. TRASH.
Spent an atrocious amount of money. We were playing on a crane when we encounter so much lag. Unbelievable. Claw wouldnt even move, or it would move 10 whole seconds after the maneuver. Be warned. This app is unplayable and laggy. They kick you out of line too once you lag. Worst mistake of our life was installing this app. We would rather throw our money into the trash can than give it to this absolute scam.

We lost like 3 times because machine just kept going and not stopping we recorded it and we did a 600+ gem purchase and did not get our free plays.
Edit: MY PRIZES CAME!! We were honestly expecting the Sakura cushions to be smaller but they are the perfect size!! And the mini vacation towel is so soft we love it!! This game is great. The customer service was quick to respond, and its overall just a great game. We would recommend playing this to other people.
After spending many minutes on filling out surveys, we did not receive our gems. It felt like a complete waste of time.
They changed the way you win prizes and it is way more difficult than before. Used to enjoy the app spending a few bucks here and there but its not worth it anymore. Will eventually delete if it doesnt go back to the old way.
The game was ok prizes was cute we would of have at least given 3 stars but im gonna go with 1 the problem was first we tried to put in our email but for some reason the app didnt want to accept our email we decided to go with our second email the app accept it later we purchased some coins to play the game and we won we demon slayer plush they show videos of how u played the crane and won the prize we put our address and everything and the next day we received an email from them saying there was suspicious act there gonna deactivated our account reason why was because of the different email we picked we explained to them what happened and asked us which email we wanted ok so we picked the email we wanted for the app our account was activated but our coins was not returned or our plush wasnt delivered so we emailed them again about the plush and our coins if we cant get our coins or at least the plush we won we wanted our money back that we purchased they reply back because of the change of emails thats why our plush wasnt being delivered but there gonna fix the problem and delivered our plush ok we said so we decided to give the app one more chance we purchased again some coins and played again we won a cinnamon roll plush im thinking im getting our two prize but all we got was our cinnamon roll and not the demon slayer we emailed them again and explained to them again the issue we even had to sent them screen shots for proof of the mistake they made because of there app and how we won the prize and how much we purchased the coins to play there game we got an answer from them saying we didnt win the demon slayer plush they sent us a list of what we played the game we got upset and just give up and remove the app no point in having the proof they still keep the money.
We were SUPER exited because we LOVE winning things. When we first owned the app it had cute things to win. We won some things and it was cute. Although it told us we had wait 6 days to pay in gems. We were a little annoyed but it was fine. We didnt get on for about 3-4 days and it said TO LOG IN AGAIN. We were SO confused. We had just assumed that there was bad internet or whatever. But other than that we recommend it and we love going on it. But we really hope it WAS bad internet.
Played and payed for a plushie we won and the app said it was in the process of shipping until one day we wasnt able to get back in and it kept kicking us out.
After spending like 50 plus dollars and a few days of trying, after finally winning and requested for delivery 1 day later they ban our account for suspicious activity.
The support is so bad and unfair to its regular players. We had a prize won fairly by pushing it off the platform and it got stuck in the chute and only the top of the prize was visible in the camera. The claw no longer reached the prize. The machine was even placed into maintenance after and the next rotating prize was set. When we submitted a ticket, their response was can only be counted as a win once the prize has fallen to the bottom of the hole. Theyll try every way to scam you out of a fair win just to scrape some money. DO NOT PLAY.
None responsive, expensive, issues with claws! This is our experience after a month or more of this app. Our advise is to get Clawtopia much happier with them other then tracking shipping.
We played this app for several years and its fallen by the way side hard. It seems like every time we play now we have major lag that basically results in useless play. We loaded 7000 credits and virtually won nothing due to inconsistent and leggy play experience. We disputed our plays and they did nothing to help. Do not recommend. :/.

So Ive played this app claw game and often it will glitch, the crane will not move or be delayed in Moving directions so that we cant even estimate where to stop bc the crane wont move! Also will freeze, or it will kick us out making us lose our spot and our money! . The support agents wont refund us so we HAVE LOST $50+ CASH several times that we spen! And now customer agents as do you have a video of you playing the game?! WTH Im not a YouTuber!! Why would we be recording ourselves playing the game? Its just ridiculous.
Ive been a long term player and had very minimal issues up until they SCAMMED ME. We won a prize it went FULLY INSIDE of the prize shoot. Not outside IN the prize shoot. We won this in one play. It missed the prize sensor and didnt credit. We reported it and got a response that it could not count as a win unless it went in the winning hole umm it did?!?! Went right into the winning hole that we have screen recorded and screenshots. Literally have both angels. Im being denied since we got a win in one play and so did others. The reason doesnt even make sense because we won another one in the same exact way that actually credited to our account. If it did not go in the winning hole theres no way it would've credited? So obviously that was not the problem here. Also, the customer support is awful and does not respond to anything. We would recommend NOT spending any money on this game they went downhill.
This is a great app to play claw machine games, which is great because there are no good claw machine places where we live.
We havent got any update on our prize being shipped and now Im getting bugged where we won but its not showing up on our reward. No response on any of our emails. Not good for customer services.
This app has some serious security fraud issues. We were charged inappropriately for purchases we never made. We reached out to customer support and they took a week just tk tell us they couldnt track the charges on their end, even though both apple and our credit card bill says we were charged. Our card info was misappropriated by a malicious user, but tokyo catchs customer service has been very unhelpful about correcting the issue. Tldr: DONT MAKE PURCHASES ON THIS APP. They have security issues.
Spent 200 dollars trying to get a 20 dollar figure, it would constantly lag and take our gems with plays we didnt even start, and it would take our turn away right before we got a prize and someone else would win it immediately like they took our turn on purpose (happened on both figures we almost had) and its not a skill thing because we win on those machines all the time at round1.
We truly enjoyed playing this game before they marked our account as suspicious and closed it. We reached out to them regarding the matter and they explained that they believed we had multiple accounts because we introduced the game to our mother and our brother and they began to play on their own with SEPARATE devices AND accounts. We also all used different payment methods as they said in the FAQ. We explained to them that we only had one account and that our mother and brother had their own but they ended up shutting down all of our accounts. Edit: we spoke to support again and they reactivated our mothers account. We still wish we had our account because this is a very fun game but they did send out the prizes.
Starting the game, we had 3 free plays from linking a Facebook account. With these free plays, we won a figure. We were so excited to ship the prize, but turns out you need to win a prize with gems (which cost irl money) or pay exactly 600 gems (12 dollars). So, we spent almost 30 dollars trying to win a prize. Long story short, we got nothing. We were sad to find out that the 3 tickets you get from linking your Facebook account used to be gems. Gems. Until they changed that and the price of the gems that used to be cheaper. We were dumb enough to not record our plays where the machine malfunctioned and lost even more money. Ive pretty much given up because we feel awful. We ended up spending more money than the item is worth. You could buy it online for cheaper. Though we guess thats the point of the game, to gamble with your money and have fun on machines to win prizes. The game is great if youre willing to spend money to have fun. And we would like to add that support staff are really nice so you dont have to worry when contacting them. To end this off, we just have no skill and terrible luck. The figure we won is just a lost cause now lol.
Use to love playing and wining. Now the claws NEVER move for us and you email them and they just say its our internet connection but it isnt as we have no problems with anything else but this game. Just not worth it anymore.
Ill start off with the two good things about this app. The user interface is nice to look at. Its got great colors and very user friendly. The other thing is free shipping every week on one prize. We like that. That leads us into the rest of this review, which is all the bad. With the amount that gems cost, its pretty obvious why free shipping once a week is an option. Compared to other claw machine websites/apps, the price per play is steep. Here are the reasons why it is definitely not worth the money. We have won two prizes. We like the prizes and we had fun winning them, but we couldve easily just bought the figures for the amount of times we had to try for it. One of the BIGGEST issues you will face is lag. Imagine this: you are only maybe two plays away from getting the figure youve been trying for. There are five people waiting behind you that want to snatch up all the hard work you just put in. You are on the last of your gems and on the easiest grab of your life, the buttons/camera freeze up. You wait and wait for it to refresh, and have to watch the dumb claw run into the side of the glass. The time goes by, and youre kicked out and boom all your hard work is for nothing because for some reason the guy behind you gets lucky and doesnt lag. We have very good wifi and dont lag on any other claw machines like we have on this app. This has happened so many times that its actually ridiculous. Of course, you can get the ticket back after waiting for the request to be reviewed, but seriously? We dont want to put in a lot of money and cross our fingers, hoping that we dont get robbed. Anyways, this app has tons of potential. It looks nice, overall is easy to understand, and has cool prizes, but we dont like to roulette our money on the chance that we dont even get to play the game. We definitely wont be playing again once we receive the prizes we won, but if somehow the horrific lag is fixed, we would maybe be down to try it again. Good luck devs and we hope you try and make some improvements. Be loyal to your users and they will be loyal to you.
