We didnt expect much but this game is definitely good! The plot was ok since we could relate it to our life a bit but some of it was a bit overwhelming. Her friends like her but then now she doesnt like them and then she leaves them and then she likes them and its just all over the place, but we can see the plot having potential. Overall, we love this game, gameplay is a bit hard but manageable for us, and some parts are a bit hard to get past, but we love this game! Our first impressions of this game were really good tbh. We think this game is very creative and underrated, we seriously think this game has potential into getting big! We also love the feature where u can make ur own custom! Really enjoyable game, just some pros and cons.
Despite wanting to chuck our phone when we couldnt get past a level we love this game and its so rewarding to finally finish the game.
We have many popular games but we would rather play this than minecraft and roblox. Its dialogue is amazing, its super fun to play, and the art+lighting is super pretty. We 1000% recommend if youre looking for a game with pretty art and a good story! (also check out the first game aswell!).
The game is great from the levels, to the mechanics and even the level creator. It is one of our favorite games. The only thing we disliked was the story. It does begin to get a bit confusing but overall great game.
Its very addictive a good map editor, good graphics, good plot (for us) and interesting levels.
We absolutely LOVE this game- the controls are great, the game is great, the storyline is great, the graphics are great, we have no problems we can think of with the game :D we were like- genuinely upset once we finished both of the games because its so fun, AMAZING game 11/10 XD.
Outstanding game! Best mobile platformer Ive played, not to mention this is completely free! The level design is wonderful, and the level editor is Super Mario Maker but if it was good, our only problem is that in world 11 level 4 the theme is wrong and the grappling feature isnt there, so we cant beat it. Aside from that amazing game.
We know the best star rating is a 5 star but this game is better then that. In fact this game is so good that it gave us the mind powers needed to give this game infinite 5 star rating at least that what it deserves… Until we find a way for that to happen.
The storyline is pretty good but its just sad at the end. Gameplay is good and there is very few adds so you can just play. Please add more levels there is only 12 worlds and 10 rooms in each world.
The story was very good. Its not just a game where you avoid obstacles, it has a story. The animation was simple and cute, enough to satisfy us and our friend. 10/10! Totally recommend.
This game is full of such beautiful and smooth graphics, that are so simple and so pleasing to the eye. The controls are easy to master once gotten the hang of, and the new additions to the levels are explained without breaking your immersion into the game. This is such a wonderful game thatll stick with you like it did us. We find ourselves coming back after a bit to play it again, but there really is no experience like playing it the first time. ALITS and ABP are absolute masterpieces in many ways. We really have no complaints, besides we wish it was longer, we want to look more into this cats life with her tearjerking and beautiful storyline.
Im not one to write reviews, but this game has us in awe. It is so endearing, and we wanted to finish the story. Some controls with mechanics were awkward, but that didnt stop us from finishing. People can resonate with the cat character, fixing the characters, the simple style, the varying difficulties of obstacles, and the option to speed run! And a level editor too? This game needs so much more spotlight and love. We hope you all carry on in success with your games! Thank you for making our week! We will definitely be replaying these levels and other peoples world packs.
We love this game and we love the cat. We think the plot is very nice and the story is sad (which we like). It was frustrating at times but its such a nice feeling of accomplishment when you get through it. 10/10, would recommend.

This game is amazing and awesome. Ive only played this for about 3 days and Im already in the middle of world 6, its vey addicting. It can keep you occupied for nearly hours at a time. There is new things with every world so it stays fresh instead of being tedious after playing for a little while. The only reason we gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we wish that there was a way to change your cat. Like color wise. Also maybe after every level you could get coins and then buy accessories with them. Otherwise this game is amazing and occupies open time.it can be irritating at times but after cooling off for a bit and returning its easy to just continue. We highly recommend this game.
We honestly like the grafix and story of Light in the Shadows better than A Better Place. We know that you guys worked really hard on the new mechanics but we played both and like LitS more. This still is an amazing game and maybe it is the type of thing where the first one that we play we like more. Just, please bring back the old grafix. The story is still really good but we loved how in LitS the cat turned into real water. We hope you get what we mean. All in all this is a great game, though like we said please bring back the old grafix.
We were playing the game and we saw a glitch but it wasnt a real glitch and it scared us so we left the game and we deleted and then we thought it was maybe sort of a horror game.
Love the level but we found ourselves falling through their ground, getting stuck in walls and etc. Please patch the falling through the walls.

We cant play because a strange screen appears when we enter the app.there are three squares,one spinning,one still,one with an orange spike on it.is this a loading screen?please fix it.it was greatest mobile game ever.

At first it was all nice, we really enjoyed playing it (but we raged a lot HAHAHA) but the ending. THE ENDING MADE ME CRY SO MUCH AND THIS IS MY FIRST TIME CRYING OVER A GAME 10/10 we LOVE THIS GAME.
We loves this game, we hope to see more we loved this game a lot and started just a week ago our friend told us to try this game when we were sad and we really liked it! Theres 10 levels per world the two games we played actually had 10 levels so this is one of them! We like the newest one with more details but we have a question After the blue and red cat gave her something to remember them by, what about the green cat? Did the green cat just leave without thinking or no? Oh and we use mobile and it was really easy! Heh.
We had to play this after finishing CAL because it was so good!! We know there probably wont be a game 3 to the plot but we enjoyed this so much. The adventure is so fun to feel along with the cats emotions and have to endure many obstacles. We would a love a game 3 but its fine if you dont make one!! We love CAL and ABP there one of the best games Ive ever played.

This game is AMAZING! For one thing, the game constantly keeps you entertained and interested in every world as each one has something new to offer, whether it is new enemies or obstacles, or a cutscene that leaves on a cliffhanger. This is literally the best platformer we have every played and deserves way more respect than it has right now! It even has a simple level editor so once you finish the campaign, you can effectively draw inspiration and create your own little levels! The only downside is that some mechanics, such as going through pipes are awkward with the games controls but otherwise, this game is totally worth it! Keep up the good work developers.

Please make a 3rd and 4th. We will be so happy. Graphics are amazing, gameplay, storyline, everything. And also is the glitch purple cat controlling them.

The game is really fun with a new type of ability in every world so thats pretty nice but the ending really sucked for us, it will be really nice to have an alternative secret ending.

We absolutely love this game, and love making games in it, but we saw the turn off void button was gone in the room settings. Im not sure if you removed the turn off void button intentionally or accidentally, but either way please bring the button back.

The cats are liquid games need a lot more hype.
First of, while we played this using a controller, this game would be ridiculously frustrating to play using just a touch screen. With how precise the jumps and movement need to be some times. Which is probably why we first uninstalled this game from our phone. Secondly the plot is a complete mess meant to set up a sequel. Sometimes her friends like her, sometimes they hate her. Sometimes SHE doesnt like them and tries to get away from them. Just explain the characters and move on. Theres a glitch that keeps happening so is that the problem? It feels like theyre trying to make a sequel when the game really doesnt need one. In fact, the mangled up thing they called a plot effects how bad some of the levels are. Like ALL of the ones with the block the player controls. Its an ok game. It just falls kinda flat compared to what we were expecting.
No ads, no bugs, nothing too weird or trendy, just a simple platformer. Love it.
We download this game expecting a low-effort ad-filled platformer game, but what we got was the total opposite. The story was greatly written and the graphics and sounds just fit the the fame perfectly. If we could erase all memory of this game just to have the joy of playing it for the first time again we 110% would.

This game is truly a masterpiece. Shoutout to the creators! The gameplay is amazing, the lore is confusing though. The levels are fun to progress, and we like unlocking new power ups, like hollow knight or ori in the blind forest. Once again, thank you.

We thought it couldnt get any better, and we have never been more glad to be proven wrong. The same simple mechanics as the first game, as well as a few more tacked on, but wonderfully done – not just thrown in so the developers could say they made a unique sequel. The story is still captivating, still masterfully told. The graphics and exact execution of certain mechanics are both infinitely better than in ALitS, which doesnt make the first game obsolete, just shows the developers improvement! (And means we typically replay the first game before replaying the second, even if Im just going for certain achievements or speedrun times in ABP, so we can have the full experience all over again and be blown away by the smoothness of control in the second.) Overall, if ALitS is 10/10, ABP is, like, 11/10. Would 100% recommend to anyone asking.

Love this game, while the ending feels a little anticlimactic and the controls are a bit hard to master, each area has a unique gimmick and even references back to a light in the dark. The game is hard but not impossible, and had us busy for awhile. The add-breaks are short as well.
Its a really good game and the concept is awesome but the only problem are the controls, sometimes they are delayed so you cant move.
