We HAVE PLAYED JUST ABOUT EVERY MEXICAN TRAIN APP OUT THERE. TO ME THIS ONE IS THE BEST.. We'VE BEEN PLAYING IT FOR 3-4 YEARS AND NEVER GET TIRED OF IT. IT IS NOT PROGRAMMED AGAINST U AS SO MANY R. SOMETIMES we WIN, SOMETIMES we LOOSE. SOMETIMES we WIPE THE FLOOR WITH THE PC PLAYERS AND SOMETIMES THEY WIPE THE FLOOR WITH ME. We WOULD SAY THIS IS A TRUELY RANDOM GAME. COLORS R NICE PLAY IS SMOOTH. U CAN ARRANGE THE TILES YOURSELF, OR HAVE PC ARRANGE FOR U. NO TIMERS OF ANY KIND. PLAY AT UR SPEED. BLADDER SAYS HELLO, NO PROBLEM, TAKE A BREAK. Well crafted game. Works well and we love the space theme.
We really enjoy the game. Keeps your mind sharp thinking of ways to play. We would like a selection of avatars. Just the one little boy gets boring.
This is our third iPad, we installed this game on every one and its the only game which can claim that.
The game is really free. Has banner ads but no annoying commercials. It would be nice if you could change backgrounds or player icons but for the price how can we complain :) we enjoy this game very much.

We really enjoy this game; its fast, easy and no ads. Our but is that you almost always win. For example, ifyou dont have a starting domino, the other players get you started. Thats not real dominoes. That doesnt happen when the other players dont have a starter. Just a bit more of a challenge would be nice. We know the graphics are for kids but it really is one of the better playing domino games out there.
Good review and in most cases you will win, is their a way of making it more difficult to show up on top.
You can tell that the other 3 auto players are not picking up cards when it is their turn. Please fix thisgetting very frustrating.
This can be an entertaining game because the robots dont play the game the way that humans do. However, the result is that you almost always win because the robots arent programmed to strategize, they are programmed to attempt to sabotage you at the expense of themselveswhich means that you win the game about 95% of the time. Fun for a while, but the lack of strategy from your opponents makes it boring after a bit, and it is nothing like the way that the game is played by humans in real life.
We have a lot of fun playing this game.
The app is fun and easy to play. Its nice to be able to choose the number of players and number of rounds. The only suggestion would be to enable the user to choose different background, including a solid one. We have vision problems and that would make it a little easier to see.
After trying many other versions, this pleases the most. Im loving it. The choice of numbers of players and rounds, in a free version is great! We like the fast play and the pulsating number of draw cards. You quickly know you dont have a tile that matches. Part of the challenge is deciding how to line up the tiles – why would anyone want it done automatically?! Thanks for this great game.
Other players are able to play after a double isnt satisfied but the main player is locked and has to satisfy. Seems to be a piece of code missing for other players.
When drawing a tile, there is no time to place it before the aliens start playing on your hand. Also when drawing tiles, the are placed all over the board area. How about the tiles are placed during the game in a consistent spot or box, and the game doesnt continue until the player moves it either to their board area or on a train to give the player a chance to play it.
Update #5: The cheats seem to have been removed. Since the update, we have yet to detect the computer players not following the rules that human players are forced to follow. Specifically, the computer players do not seem to be blocked from playing on the trains of others, choosing to draw instead. The specific fix that was mentioned (players no longer skipping turns at the end of the game) has not yet been demonstrated during our play. We have not yet been in the situation where play stopped while we still had a play. Until we see that play wont stop until all players have had a chance to make a play and none of them can, we will raise our rating for this amazing and addictive game to 4 stars from 2. We will award the 5th star when we can see that the end-of-game play has been fixed. Update #4: The flaws (cheats) that we have mentioned remain unfixed. An otherwise magnificent app is now down to two stars. Fixing these two cheats cannot be that hard. Update #3: The computer players are indeed drawing when they have a play on the human players train. As a matter of fact, after months of observation, we can unequivocally say that the computer players NEVER play on the human players train (unless there is an uncovered double). Knowing this, some small advantage can be pressed by the human player not feeling an immediate need to cover his train to prevent the computer players from playing on it. However, this small advantage is outweighed by the disadvantage of excessive draws being forced, in violation of the rules, on the human player. Down to three stars until this flaw, and the empty boneyard flaw, are fixed. Update #2: The algorithm for play after the boneyard is exhausted is still flawed. The game will end when there is no double showing and the human player still has a play. Also, while the play is so fast that this cannot be confirmed, it seems as if the computer players are drawing when they have a play on the human players train. Update: Great fixes. First player each round seems random now, as it should be. The human player doesnt always have a play right away. Sometimes he has to draw right from the get. We havent had a chance to observe end-of-round play when the boneyard is exhausted, however based on the other fixes, we expect to give this app five stars soon! Original Review: This is the most addictive iPad game we have ever played. It is fast-paced, has some luck, and has a fair amount of strategy. However, the game cheats. 1. The human player always goes last. The game setup implies that you can change this, but you cant. Many hands, this is the deciding factor. The starting player should rotate or be determined by chance. 2. The human player always has at least two plays to start. The computer players often have none. This cheat is an advantage for the human, but it is still a cheat. 3. The round will end without an uncovered double, but while the human still has plays. Yet the round will continue as long as the computer players can playoften so rapidly that you cannot verify that you have not been skipped! The magnet feature was a great addition, but doesnt always create the best train. Doubles are often placed later in the train than they should be. This is a great game for teaching the art of planningyet still being able to adapt when plans go awry! The game would get five stars if the cheats were eliminated, the algorithm for play after the boneyard is exhausted was corrected, and the handling of doubles by the magnet feature was corrected. Download it now. We are sure our proposed refinements will eventually happen.
We cant figure out why the other players play on our train when our train isnt up.
This game is great, but there could be a few improvements. For example it would be nice if you could change the pips to numbers. It would be nice if you could had a button that would organize your train. And finally it would be nice if you could see your stats. There are different versions and rules and we appreciate this version.
We didnt realize when we chose more than 9 rounds that Id be leading with zero for the last 4 rounds:( If you dont have 13 rounds, dont allow the selection. Not a fan of the sounds, either. Lost our best Mexican Train game when we upgraded, have played several others & they were worse.

We think this app would appeal to children most. And that music is ugly.
The Alien has a cool move we kept trying to win this but we won dont cheat the Alien you have to win.
The latest update allows opponents to play tiles on n our train in quick succession when we have legitimate tiles to play and cant get them added fast enough. We should be allowed to play our tiles on our train before another player is allowed ( by the computer generated plays). Im cheated out of playing our own tiles on our own train.
The developers of this game did an awesome job! Our only complaint is the alien sounds and music. Some might enjoy the alien sounds, we play in silence wishing there was an option choice to hear classic sounds. That being said this game is so ENJOYABLE. It keeps our mind sharp and occupied for hours. Its fun using different strategies to outsmart the computer which, by the way, is VERY FAIR in the distribution of dominoes to both player and computer. If youre not winning dont blame the developers-dig deep and think of different strategies! BEST OF ALL there are NO ANNOYING ADS! Thank you, Developers, for a fabulous game! The only thing that would make it perfect would be to have a choice of either alien or classic sounds & music. Please continue to keep it ad free.
We Love this game but would love the ability to play with friends.
Could you create an alternate deck with numbers that rotate when you rotate your phone? Our eyes just arent as good as they once were and the dots blend together. We also, periodically, have trouble getting the dominos to attach to the previously played ones? Not sure why. We feel like this is a lot of griping about a game we play daily and thoroughly enjoy! Just trying to be helpful.
While we enjoy the speed of your game , and the size of the tiles, theres no room to see the totals of each round in the last 3 rounds. Could you find some way of allowing us to see these? A few days ago, we played the game and than you! You fixed the problem! . Glad someone is listening.
This game knows exactly what you have in your hand and if you are winning, you will end up not having any tiles that play for at least 7 rounds. It really is exasperating and makes you not want to play.
Needs a multiplayer mode to play actual people.
We lost the non-alien version when we changed phones, which was unfortunate especially when we went to the App Store to find it was gone. This version does not have a sort button to auto-sort or align your dominoes! Difficult to manually do it in the space provided. Plus you cannot choose how many rounds within a game. Do away with the childish alien theme and colors and bring back the better version.

At the end usually you draw because you have stalled with the red button and are really close to the end after you draw it doesnt give you time to place it down before the other person plays and you end up with an extra domino you just drawed and didnt get a chance to play. Help.
We're having fun Might not be as "perfect" as some commentators want, but it's fun and no annoying long ads.

Can't see the total score when you get to the last two or three rounds on our mini iPad. Can't scroll over to see scores.
We ran into this game looking for entertainment while getting better from surgery. It has given us endless hours of fun. Keeps our mind occupied. We just love it.

Would be great if the highest double would be determined by whom ever is first and if that player has none, it rotates, just like in the physical game. Id also love it if it was easier to set up our dominoes to play in our train, so we know how many we have left and easier strategize how to use the remainder. Overall, we love it. We play it so much Im seeing dominoes in our head. We love this game. It would be fun to also have the option of playing real people online.
Great fun game! Super easy and calming. It is really fun to try to plan out placement to keep from having to draw from the bone pile! We enjoy the game very much.

Love playing the game !! We usually play the real game with our friends so this replaces it during the quarantine.

Its great that it allows us to make our train in the space at the bottom and the game goes quickly. Wish it would formulate the longest train for us like the android version of the app.
