Thank you, developers, for finally fixing this beautifully done classic game. It works flawlessly now. Our advice to all is NEVER spend your money because the game eventually quits working after a few OS updates. We go back and play these Christmas games every year as we should be able to do since we bought it. Now they dont work. The screen blacks out and when you restart, it just blacks out again. And as far as we can tell, the developers wont update these older games.
The multi game part would not let us switch the roofs, we ended up having to skip. Then it came to the Unlock full version screen and said $4.99. We went to purchase it and it changed to $6.99.
Us and our grandma were playing this when we were on the last story the mouse wouldnt go under the bed when we gave the gnome the moon and the sun BUT it wouldnt give us the flashlight we love it but please FIX it.
Im enjoying the general story, but there are numerous bugs that make gameplay unpleasant. For example, Im currently playing the third chapter (Greta/Hansels story), and the screens keep glitching! Completely black except for animated/touchable areas, so its hard to tell what to do next.
We liked the game just fine until we got to the 3rd story. The Guide and the story somehow binded together and then froze. So you cant read the Guide and you cant really see the all items in the story clearly. We have deleted and reinstalled it but the same thing happened again. Though, we like and wanted to complete the game, we requested a refund. We wish that we could send you a picture of the problem because we know its hard to understand what we described above. Maybe if you can fix this, we will try purchasing it again. Update: this game is not getting better. Im on CH 3, where Im supposed to Enter Elven Villageper the Guidebut where is Elven Village? The map doesnt show it and tapping on the screen doesnt do anything. Help.
We love these games but made it the final story/quest and it just keeps blacking out. You can pick items up they dont appear, etc etc. Ive restarted it so many times but it isnt playable. Completely stinks because it was quite fun and yet very annoying because we bought game.
This use to be one of our favorites that we play during Christmas, but unfortunately, like Gift of the Maji and Little prince the graphics mess up on the last story. We would like to think that this would be fixed soon, but like the last two we mentioned, The Express maybe another title that wont be working for the upcoming years. Just avoid the heartbreak by not purchasing.

A Hidden Object Adventure game without death and skeletons.
Everything works together in this one. We always look for the mixing of music and movementplus this has great puzzles, great stories, great characters. Thank you all for continuing these games that carry us through tough days with pleasure and keep our brains sharp. Moxieruby.
This gorgeous and magical little gem appeared a bit belatedly, but it was so magnificent that we didnt really mind. More surprisingly, the helper in this game was Hansel, in the form of a mouse, and he was adorable (pretend that we never said that, lol!). The graphics were colorful and exciting, the storyline captured our interest, and the gameplay was entertaining and addictive. Each location had a plethora of tasks and collectibles. There was an issue, however with the collectible figurines. We were not able to collect the figurine in Tommys room because the little mouse was blocking it. However, more importantly, the map functioned properly, the HO scenes had an interesting variety, and there were different types of puzzles and games to suit every player. The game was actually a decent length, inclusive of the bonus adventure. It seemed shorter than it was because we so enjoyed the gameplay! We felt like we were actually in a fairy tale. Our true rating will be 4.5 stars, and we only deducted a half star due to the collectibles issue. The overall quality assurance was better than what we had seen in the last few Elephant games. Keep the games coming, Elephant! We are raring to play! Happy gaming to everyone, and Happy New Year.
Excited to find this when we opened apps. Beautiful scenery with lots of detail. Loved the hos games with variety and detail in each one. The different stories from the train kept our interest. May be short for some but we also spent time in secret room and replaying puzzles and hos. Truly enjoyed it.

Great game, our only complaint is that we cant get to a collectible item in Tommys room the first area. The mouse is in the way and the map shows that there is a collectible item there. This is mildly infuriating to us so if you could fix it we would appreciate it.
We were forced to restart Christmas tales from the beginning since no refund or as a matter of fact, no answer to our repeated requests for help…. So, maybe stupidly, we bought into another of theses games, hoping against hope, someone will listen if we get stuck again…we cannot leave such a beautifully set up set of games….am we crazy? We guess Ill see…we just asked what the phrase walk down meant in the strategy guide meant….Im not slow, but there are many definitions that can be attached to this phrase….we hope they answer……we love these games, but customer service leaves a bit to be desired…If we get an answer..Ill apologize… ***Dispute the not answering our inquiry, we will give this compliment…we just finished this game and we found this game charming; you MUST tap all objects on each site. The objects move or tinkle or twinkle…..Its just FUN! The train was our favorite, but we have always loved trains.
Like the game but its very hard to click on some things and in at least one scene you cant even get to a collectible because your brother blocks the entire thing so you dont get the achievement.
No real challenge…. Game is too childish in theme.
