What Makes Warage RTS Stand Out

Community Insight:
Make sure to build multiple castles, and tons of peasants early. Upgrade castle, and build the sawmill so you can build tower defenses. Upgrade castle again, build the blacksmith, and then you can build magic and shipyards.
Such a good game if you like og age of empires. Many hours of fun. Hope to see this game continue to grow. However did notice the last update added different troops which would be fun to play with besides paying for it.
Been looking for a Warcraft-like game on here and we think this might be it.
Absolutely fun to play but crashes. Id pay for a fully flushed out version.
We have a blast playing this game. Anyone familiar with the original Minecraft will find many similarities to it. We just wish there was more to the game. It doesnt take long to go through every campaign and every extra map in the scrimmage section. The game is rather easy too so we create challenges for ourselves limiting our use of characters or resources just to make things interesting. Because the gold mines are limitless, there is no strategy to having to move your home base. So if push comes to shove, you can always just barricade your city with towers and build a ridiculously large army.
The game is super fun and reminds us a lot of aoe however there are a lot of glitches which we do not mind and the maps/civilizations are limited which we dont mind any of that. But the most frustrating part is that the game is sooo easy! There is no challenge whatsoever. Please make difficulty levels for the bots.
Game gets stuck and you cant move on.
Was having hella fun Until Chapter 2 of the Undead campaign started freezing. Reloaded save multiple times and have started over multiple times and it always freezes. Fixing that along with a few other bugs (being able to craft multiple building on top of each other, Building not being able to be used if place of trees, Peasants glitching when you place said building on top of trees and running in circles, Completely redoing the multiplayer system, ECT) would really set this game off.
We like the game but after just a few levels, theres so much going on that it slows down to the point its no longer fun to actually play.
Its like the first Warcraft. So much is well done. One BIG problem.. Levels freeze all the time and you cant get past them. Just crashes out. Reached out to the developer and zero response. Bummed. Could be great.
Game good, control, graphics good. One problem was, frozen the chapter 5 ( almost after 5 minutes) in campaign.
This is an amazing game that is a lot like age of empires. There are lots of troops you can select from. We always play this game in our downtime. When we play multiplayer it doesnt let us pick six or eight bits . Overall a very recommended game for lots.
This is so much fun and runs smoothly. Its very enjoyable and there is great replay value. One gameplay issue – getting past the undead level 12 is impossible!! Maybe we have to purchase healing potions? Its a level that is a simple mad-dash with enemies chasing your soldiers. No building your village. Seems inconsistent with other levels. Help.
Honestly its a pretty good game. With more updates we feel like this would be a daily player.
This is a fun game. Its just like war craft. But, this game needs an update. There are a lot of glitches that are effecting the fun of the game.
We have an iPhone 14 max and we get a few levels and it crashes and we have to start over Tried to save before crash but still have to start from the beginning.
Pleeeeeaaaaase add a simple basic map editor.
We like the game but we cant build a shipyard in level 8 or 9 and cant get to final tower on an island to complete level. We have tried forever to build a shipyard but there is no shipyard to build.
Why cant you beat level 8??? You cant kill the shipyard with any of the troops available to you. Like this game but this is a major flaw.
Been looking for a game like the original Warcraft. This is as close as your gonna get. The game is fun. In later levels it gets pretty difficult, mainly due to the complexity of a defense or attack. There can be so many guys it is hard to tell who to do what. The Ai is not the smartest and sometimes your guys do dumb things. Im sure its easier if we could play on a controller. But on the phone it is really hard to have a finite touch to click around swiftly. A+ for effort. C for execution. We really dont even have advice to the developers on how to improve the controls. Seems difficult for such a small screen. The few ads were not annoying and worth it to play the game. Glad we came across this game.
We dont know if the game currencies dont make sense or if we just dont understand the game. We believe the game needs a dedicated tutorial, even for a person like ourselves thats used to playing red alert. We cant find any tutorial in any of the modes. However, the game has great potential, but dont really think it will be improved in ever. 9 years since release date.
Its awesome but our saved game lags so much we have to re start the camping again and also we may have been playing Warcraft 2 sound track in the background while playing this game.
Hopefully the developer is still working on improvements. Workers dont always go where you want and randomly decide where to go when they drop off wood. The skirmish has the enemy right next to you when you start rather than elsewhere on the map. We love a challenge but at least distance should be accounted for when starting a new game. A lot of work went into it and we appreciate the initial splash screen stating it is a work in progress. Definitely worth the download. Not too many ads which is good but surprising. The buying price Ford the game we think is worth it with the work that has gone into it.
The ai will always have what we build so it is nearly impossible to win in the later stages. They also can get troops they cant produce on their own. Its insanely unfair and retarded. Pls fix.
It would be a really great game if we didnt have to constantly start over every time we turned it on.
Its meh, the lack of troops AI and controls are -10 dkp. Should find improvement on camera panning to peasants or troops and allow for more advanced controls aside from click and wait. Add an attack button to allow for troops AI, instead of waiting around and clicking the sheet one at a time. We want to rate lower but they at least tried.
We wrote a long review and it was taken down even tho it was a good review so now we leave a bad one.
Been playing for a couple of weeks now and not one person on the server.
So we love RTS games and this is a great game of the genre but chapter 4 for the good guys is bugged Ive waited it out Ive destroyed all enemy buildings but we never win. Other than that love the units and the map design is pretty good.
We like the part where he says "Masturrrrr ready to surrrveee".
Simple fun retro RTS. Couple improvements. 1) the elastic menu screens are annoying. 2) needs a skirmish mode vs ai. Fun game overall. Reminds us of old school C&C on playstation.
This game needs some bugs fixed, the controls are hard to maneuver.
Its a great simple game that you can play with friends But the description is incorrect, you can NOT play with 6 players. Or 3v3 or etc. The maps only allow for max 4 players. And also hoped for a bigger map for longer games if allowable with 4+ people. But nevertheless, its fun.
